The story is great if you wanted a realistic main character though not the smartest which was why i dropped story development and character design ratings since the first though in my head after he absorbs the first beast core he got to get stronger so he can hunt and farm rank 1-2 beast so he can eventually pay for his debt and get stronger but nope, the ****er sold his only rank 3 core just to buy a fucking slave girl, which he just literally get stronger by absorbing it and assassinating the merchant and getting the deed more smartly anyway... this is my opinion only because i don't like goody to shoes main character but rather the slightly merciless mc.

Looks almost the same the one novel
I was reading the part were he got his first core then I remember your review about him buying a female slave. I was already irked with him taking care of his older sister (i'm so sick of this bro-sis novels) then him getting another mouth to feed was when it hit me, I have to f*cking stop while it's early lmao
I feel like I have to specify this for those who read your review.. First of all, he does pay his debt with the money he makes from selling the core. The reason why he decides to save the girl, is because he wants to, and that's what starts his entire system.. he simply follows up with it. Secondly.. this is not a video game novel.. there is no farming of 1-2 rank beast cores.. it's boring, it brings the story nowhere further, and nobody wants to see it. Finally, this is a novel built more on realism. The character will not turn cool and merciless only because he suddently got powerful.. he will grow into being less forgiving into the story.
No you're wrong, that's not being a merciless mc but a logical human being. Let's be right on things, if a MC help a GIRL, that's because she is nice looking and he may want to impress her/or she is minor. Did you ever see a MC help an ugly af girl ? A men ? It practically never happens. That's hypocrisie here, he didn't help the others slave wwhen he had opportunitie, he isn't GOOD, he is selfish that's all from my point of view. Garbage reviews made by people who didn't even read the first 25-30 chapters.. Let alone 50+ chapters of the LN. The MC bought the slave because the slave helped him. Then the MC freed the slave right after buying it. This bro sis crap never happened. You saying that the MC should have forgotten about his sister and left her in the slums to die on her own without any food or money? You guys didn't even read past like chapter 25-30 to see that something happens to the MC and the MC and sister don't end up seeing each other for almost 175 chapters after that. So, I would like to see where this bro sis crap happened since if you read the LN at all you would see it never happened.

You must be a self creating psychic. After 1 chapter you say "this book will not be good". Then you stop reading it and say "it wasn't a good book. First : i said that i can tell how things are going to be after reading the first chapter with the experience i have, i also made a precision that i was right 98% of time since i keep reading even if i know it's ****, after all it may end as a 2% nice novel in the end. Second : It's not because i'm not in this website, that's yet again the difference of experience between you and me. I already read all the books on this website, so i'm actually using the official qidian (in chinese) and read with google translate. 1 bad chapter is more than enough to know how they are going to be the next, many novels that even promise cunning mc fall in that, stupid decisions. When you have been reading this kind of stories for a long time, 1 chapter is more than enough to drop and look for the next one.

Dude. He gets so much stronger doing good stuff than selfish stuff that's the entire point of his system. Plus; he's just a good dude. Also he gets hella strong later on and it gets better after a certain development.
I can confirm if you read enough novel you can predict what will happen to overall story.
