I've been waiting for this to be translated for ages!! FINALLY!!! This novel is a big face-slap to all the other system novels in which the MCs always trust the systems for no reason. I mean isn' t it suspicious when something unknow is planted in your brain? No matter how helpful they seem, they are still threats, aren't they? And this novel finally addressed this issue ~ The only thing that I'm worried about is how those characters' names will be translated here, because the traditional Chinese names in this novel are quite complicated...

i like system novels a lot because it truly does help its users if they get the system for them and havent yet started there path i can name so many civilians getting combat based systems but do you think thats a bad thing do you play a game like wow and expect to be able to play the game forever lvl 1 epoch of twilight the system is helpful no ai and no growth the system couldnt match the user so the user destroyed it but you cant deny what it did for him not all have there own goals and even if they do it isnt even that bad you get bonuses forever even this mc does

I'm not denying that systems are helpful, but in a lot of novels, systems simply serve as a cheat of the MC in order to advance the plot. But in this novel, it logically brings up the issue that "there's no such thing as a free lunch" . When the system helps you, it actually wants something from you. You wouldn't want to pay the hidden price for using the system in this particular novel... It's good that our MC is so strong before having a system, so she doesn't need its help and dare to face the punishments when denying its requests. She has balls 😂

Reading this novel was a breath of fresh air, from this oversaturated medium. The female lead is believable and the story follows more logic than flaunting how badass the FM lead is whilst retaining that badassness. Plus she was fucking 41 before reincarnating. Finally, a bloody believable age for a military expert, than 'oh I was an assassin or from so secret family in my last life but somehow am an expert in medicine and cultivating' bull****, which is irritating to read constantly, which deter me off from many novels with an FM protagonist. Additionally, she herself is more capable than any other FM on this site as she relays on herself rather waiting for a man to rescue like so many other novels, and it seems that gonna be the way the Nobel stays throughout which is good for anyone who doesn't want to waste their time reading the same recycled concepts over and over again. All in all just read it.😁😁
