It was interesting at first and I trie duo stick with it as long as I did. Novels definitely got some good ideas and I felt like there’s been some lost potential somewhere here. Main thing I disliked about this novel is the hypocritical and unlikable main character. I personally can’t continue on with a novel where I find the main character this irksome. It’s not unreadable like the God and Devil World pile of dung (sorry dung, at least you’re useful as fertilizer)

Thank you for stopping me from having a huge expectation about mc just because there’s a “kingdom building” tag! Now i can read things quickly without much disappointment since I already know what kind of person mc is. Sigh.. when will the good novels that doesn’t need this kind of character to make the plot more interesting come..?

I don’t see how he’s hypocritical? Or unlikable? He’s supposed to be the Qin Emperor, a supreme force dominating over all. A true emperor. And it’s not like you’re going to be all honest and righteous when you’re an emperor.

for example, treats creatures and people as numbers, freely slaughtering to conquer their villages and power up his own, but once they are part of his village (conquered) he pretends to care about them as "more than numbers". as an aside, your outlook on life is a bit sad if your expectation of an emperor/king is that they can't (or won't) be honest or righteous.

yeah, definitely written by your average Chinese incel. Checks the boxes on: a) "China #1" b) Gratuitous rape c) Glorify historical eras while airbrushing over any historical disasters (where are the Mongols or Qin?)

He is the descendant of the Qin Emperor?? It says he was the one with the most “pure” blood of the Qin Emperor. (and throughout the story they repeatedly say Great Qin,) As for the Mongols? They’ll probably be introduced later when the new Great Qin kicks up. 1) There is no rape, the MC doesnt even lay a hand on a woman in a sexual way. 2) Of course it’s glorifying China, it’s a CHINESE novel. When have you ever seen a novel that doesn’t glorify their country in their book? Maybe if it’s a different world, but other than that, I find it fine for an author to be a patriot. Hey, it’d make a lot less for a country like America (that’s only been around for about 200~ years, to have countless historical figures like China.)

He would have to kill anyway to conquer lands, etc. I mean righteous like “he’s killed a lot of people, innocent or not.” and he’s going to continue doing that to conquer the world. My “outlook on life” isn’t sad, I just prefer merciless MCs over kind-hearted MCs because they usually get betrayed or walked on by women. As for people only being important once they’re with the MC.. He has to grow his population to upgrade his town and possibly other towns he makes. I feel it’s sensible to not care about other people unless they’re in your town.

I've read all the chapters qidian released, and the mc and his soldiers don't touch any women. Off course the other people may do it, but the only moment it's explicit is when the mc appear to save his employees that are about to be raped. But if you like kind-hearted MCs this novel is not for you

Honestly the MC is like any other mc ...ruthless and decisive ... and honestly which king/emperor doesnt make ruthless choices ... The MC as a person and personality well suits the emperor part ...the only ****ed up thing about this is that the story keeps mentioning "CHINA" as the superior country and the country that has the most legacies...which is a letoff but after you get used to it ..its like a fast paced eating contest

The problem is i don t understand the basis for the power of legacy. U want some influential country? On what basis you want? Cultural?territory?feat? Ok they killed many people in their history and all their lerchabt are the best etc etc ..... Dude china never been that influential world wide exept in recent years but it doesnt count author say so. U want some true feat? Make hitler descendant okr i dunno staline. Furthermoree the author don t know any **** about other country and i mean literally excalibur ? Pendragon ? It s a story ahahahahah

I don’t write novels like this so I won’t tell you on what basis I BELIEVE a legacy should be handed down from but I think it goes like: -If the country has made a mark on the world for thousands of years -If at its peak it was a force to be reckoned with -??Left behind cultural things in the area it controlled?? You can’t say that Hitler had a “legacy” his destiny was to be conquered when he messed with **basically** every country in the world. (Pendragon is probably based off of King Arthur which he probably exists in history to some extent.)

Well qin nation was basicaly destroyed wipe out from history meanwhile germany still live on so thousand years of legacy. If you want to speak about years of legacy i won t argue about "mark on history" but why no native american legacy? Africa got no legacy? Human root where there. It s just a biased on chiina account. I get everyone give their own a little push up but let me give you an exemple. Pick a star in the sky any one, an alien of this star tell you it s the center of the universe would you believe it? Thats what the author does china is THE CENTER OF THE WORLD everything else he just gave credits cuz u know they are in the world. And while im at it the rating of his hero like ss all time is awfull not rare or something like that it just grow on tree. And king arthur and such did not.

i mean i dislike American exceptionalism (the belief that Americans are generally superior/more advanced, etc) as well (and I argue frequently with fellow Americans who express such views), but I don't find it expressed as explicitly in literature (unless written by the crackpot fringe of the right wing). I don't mind the criticizing/debating of ideas, but anyone who says their country and its people are outright superior is a nationalistic fool or has no real understanding of anything outside their domestic borders. all that being said, my dissatisfaction with the expression of such nationalism is probably somewhat influenced by my dislike of Chinese policy on many topics, but I think the idea still stands

I agree its perfectly fine to be patriotic, but I take exception to any person, especially authors/journalists/tv presenters, who confuse patriotism with blind nationalism. For instance; I'm proud to be american, but accept that there have been some very shameful periods in our history and that even now many of the government policies are flawed in significant ways. I take issue with anyone who says they are better than someone else "because they are from X". the contrast is that when many of these novels glorify China, they do so by taking a dump on the rest of the world or other specific populations, and generally not based on policy decisions or such (ie a difference in opinion), but a disdain for those who aren't Chinese. I know there are historic rivalries and wrongs done to the Chinese in the past, so I don't tend to make an issue when they hate on japan, or badmouth koreans or mongols/'barbarians', but no country is just better than all the rest. Almost every country has some aspect in which they are doing very well, sure China or the USA have several in which each very well may be the best, but similarly both have a number of things to improve on. Admittedly the rape parts were from a review of someone who read past what is currently translated so I accept it may not be accurate as I didn't personally read it. So if they were wrong/lying, apologies, but I still don't like the way it's written for other reasons

I’m not the author nor the translator of this story. You talked about Hitler, not Germany as a whole. King Arthur was real, though we don’t know if his story of “Lady of the Lake” was. Great Qin unified the most land (probably) any dynasty will, that’s why it’s so special.

Floating Island - Triple S Talent

Humans of Earth were transported to the Divine Sky Realm, a world brimming with fortune and danger. In this celestial domain, humanity now dwells upon floating islands, ascending as rulers. When else will you get the chance to be a king and vie for supremacy? The system bestowed powers upon chosen individuals, granting limitless luck. Lein, an ordinary office worker, received the SSS-rank talent - Infinity Duplicate. There was nothing in this world that he couldn't duplicate, not even god-tier materials. The path to becoming the strongest lay before him. Yet, Lein knew all too well that it required a process. Even the gods needed a process to create the universe. The Divine Sky Realm offered a fantastical life that Earth's humans had always dreamed of. Soaring through the skies, shattering mountains, rising to the pinnacle in all endeavors. But humans remain humans, wherever they are, driven by their innate nature: greedy and unaware of their limits. Humans believed they were the sole inhabitants of the universe, thinking only they received the system's fortune. But reality proved otherwise. Other races in the universe were granted the same blessings, without distinction. In fact, the human physique was considered low-tier. Races like the Wood Elves, Dwarves, Goblins, Dragons, and countless others possessed bodies that defied the heavens from the outset. Could humans survive in the Divine Sky Realm? We can only hope for the best. The humans found themselves in a realm where dreams and nightmares walked hand in hand, a place where every desire and fear took form. Floating islands became their new kingdoms, a testament to their newfound power and ambition. Lein, an unremarkable man back on Earth, now wielded the power of Infinity Duplicate, a gift that could make him invincible.
