LIKE"I have no problem" "I need", great another weeaboo living in their fantasy world. if you have no problems with supposed heroes/MCs committing rape and murder at will, you probably should be put down, for the good of humanity
Rami100:They will serve their homeland. I have no problem, if you go ahead in the novel, you know I need every increase in power.
and apparently later he goes hard in the other direction and starts raping people just so he can power up. that would have been a hard drop and straight one star rating across the board if i had seen it previously.

It is the law of the strongest, they made the strong to attack it because they had allies, that the consequences are endured.

yeah, but morals. I'm all for writers being able to write freely, I just wish there would be actually descriptive tags so I could ignore stories like this. It really sucks to get invested in a character, then have them do something I personally think is generally a crime on par with murder or maiming of a person (in some stories its a one-off thing or due to extenuating circumstances, which I can grudgingly ignore).

With all the genocides in the novel, Morality and ethics you can throw it out the window

Exactly. Which is the reason some don't like this story. So stop defending it when you yourself just admitted what it really is. Without Morality or ethics. It'd be okay if at least the MC would TRY to uphold them, but he is pretty much one of the first to throw them out the window.

Defend what is really the novel. If you've reached that point, what do you keep complaining about rapes and deaths?, it's an empire, not a charitable foundation.

I haven't read it, because as I said, some of us don't like that stuff. Unfortunately, nowhere in the synopsis, tags, genre, or title does it say anything about it, except for reviews. It's why I don't like someone complaining when those who read let readers-to-be know what they are getting into. Especially since you said it yourself, that it is without morality or ethics. No, an empire-to-last is built upon trust! No, not charity - of course that's a no-no. I also don't mind occasional execution. But ra*ping women? All the time? That's a line which shouldn't be crossed. It doesn't matter if that r*pe later develops into a lover, because that's beside the point and doesn't excuse anything. Sure, serial rap*ing only starts later and isn't something which has been translated yet, but some of it has already been translated. Also, that's only been glimpsed through various reviews, not something I myself read - I haven't even begin this story yet, luckily. Anyhow, that's just my opinion, so I thought I'd let you know... Not like I have anything against your own opinion… It only bothered me how you defended it even while knowing it is present, hence why I let you know. Bye.

Without modern ethics and morality* Spartans would get wives by raping them, the woman could defend herself but if he succeeded then she would get married to him. Btw spartan women had more rights than most other women of the time (except that custom). European Nobles could legally claim the first time of a woman when she was getting married. Nobles in general could play around with commoners. Arranged weddings technically result in rapes Let's not even talk about slaves. And etc... Feudal and earlier morals are inevitably very different than ours, their world is going back to such an era. Raping avoided because it is as bad as murder? Everyone in this novel is a murderer. Most heroes in most novels, even action shonen are murderers. Empires are not founded on trust, they are founded on wealth of pillaged nations and fear from its military might. The entire policy of an empire is to enrich the homeland at the cost of others. And lastly while it does count as rape, every woman is willing because he literally becomes a drug for them, but most of them are willing beforehand anyway. And at first the MC doesn't like that effect on women but it also affects him resulting in him becoming more bestial.

While I partially agree, you have to take note of another way of looking at it. Did we learn anything from our history? Because if we hadn't, self-destruction is the only path left for us. That way of ruling was proven ineffective, so don't recreate it. If you know parts of it that worked, use them. Incorporate them. Improve them. But copying and using what was clearly proven to be ineffective through history is just pure foolishness. And yes, I agree that our current way of `ruling` is ineffective as well. Hence why I said collect parts that worked and incorporate them, to make something which is effective. History is there as a reminder of what NOT to do, as well as what TO DO. And unless we look at them both, pick the correct concepts, we are doomed.
