Chapter 21 Blood Clot in Brain

Lu Shing and others were quite astonished after learning she got her doctor's licence when she was fifteen. 

Lu Shing understood his voice was quite rude when he questioned her.

Huo Yao also realized her way of behaviour wasn't right. As a doctor, she needs to talk with patients and their family members cordially.

Lu Rong also realizes situation has turned into quite awkward situation. As he was about to say something to smooth the situation, Huo Yao spoke first,

" I am sorry for my rude behaviour. I am faced with this kind of questioning quite often when I see patients. So it just got into my nerve ".

She apologized to Lu Shing, " I am sorry, this gentleman. Should we start now? "

Lu Shing also apologises, " I am also sorry for my behaviours. We searched for miracle doctor many times but couldn't find ",

Huo Yao paused slightly hearing 'the miracle doctor's name.

He continued, "Li Zhen said you can help us. So we came with much hope "

He paused a little, " But seeing you so young, our hope crumbled. So I just got mad ", he pushed the report file towards her.

Huo Yao calmly said as she opened the file, " It's okay. I will try my best to treat Mr.Lu "

Old Master Lu had an accident last year, he slipped in the bathroom and hit his head on the wall.

As a consequence, his brain had a blood clot.

A blood clot in the brain occurs when a blood vessel breaches and fills with blood, causing a blockage in an artery.

When this happens, the brain can be deprived of oxygen as it is cut off. This can cause damage to the brain cells and even lead to death.

A brain stroke happens when the blood clot gets big enough to eventually cut off the blood supply to part of the brain, damaging or killing specific brain tissues. 

Old Master Lu already had a brain stroke and in other doctors opinion, if this is not treated properly, he will face more serious problems in future. He may be paralysed in future.

Huo Yao fell into deep thought after reading the report. She can understand why others don't want to operate on him.

Old Master Lu is quite old, so operating on him is quite risky. Plus his status, ordinary doctors will be scared.

As they thought Huo Yao was also going to give up they heard her say,

" If you guys can trust me then I will try to treat him. But I can't give you hundred per cent guarantees of his recovery "

She stood up and went to old Master Lu's side, " Can you please extend your hand, I want to take your pulse".

Old Master Lu places his hand on the table. Huo Yao placed a tissue on his wrist.

Seeing others looking at the tissue she explains calmly, " Habits issue, don't mind ", she then places her finger gently on his wrist.

After a while, she put down her hand, " I can only

guarantees about 70%, the rest on his fate. Now your decision".

She went back to her seat. Old Master Lu and his sons are surprised to hear her success rate.

Yet now all the veteran doctors have seen their father's condition and they always give up or say the success rate is only twenty or thirty.

But this little girl is saying she can guarantee a seventy percent success rate.

Lu Rong can't sit still anymore, " Can we trust your word? You know we have gone to many experienced doctors for treatment. But nobody dares to say the success rate is above thirty percent ".

Huo Yao's reply is quite arrogant, " They are not me. I said what I can do It's your decision whether to trust me or not ".

Lu Shing looked at the girl's proud profile, " Your words are quite arrogant. Do you know our identity? Aren't you afraid we will seek revenge if anything happens to our father?"

Huo Yao languidly leans against her chair. She lifted her eyelid lazily,

" Does your identity matter? You guys came to me for treatment, it's not me who went to you OK? And I am just a doctor who treats everyone equally ",

As swirled her pen she went on, " What there to be afraid? Aren't you also afraid of losing your father? That's why you are here. Threatening me won't do any better to you guys. You also know this very well "

She leaned forward and placed her chin on her hand, " And do I look like the type who will get scared by your status? Hmmm Mr.Lu? "

Her momentum is very oppressive like someone who has been in power for many years, like an aggressive werewolf that rules in the jungle.

Lu Shing and Lu Rong were surprised for a moment seeing her like this. They also held enough power in the business world and military.
