I had to join an elemental side. I am now a "son" of "Therazane The Stony Mother", Elemental Mistress of the Earth Elementals. She is the highest authority of the earth elementals. In case that wasn't clear enough.

And why I had to join is...

# GO FORTH, MAY OUR FIRE CONSUME THE WORLD IN FLAME!

That's right, it's because of "Ragnaros, The Eternal Flame" and Lord of Fire. Apparently all the attacks that had been happening around my house were invasions of Therezane's territory.

This is not the first time Ragnaros has paid a personal visit to Therazane territory. It's been 3 times already. But you will understand my fear when one day I heard the voice of the Fire Lord near my house. It didn't take me a moment to try to flee, unfortunately when I left my house the whole place was in chaos. The fire and earth elementals were in the thousands and they were fighting everywhere.

The power of the Fire Lord was such that by his very presence the earth cracked and broke apart to be filled by rivers of lava that shifted and consumed the ground. The air burned and the temperature rose steadily, and with it the power of the fire elementals increased.

My surprise at seeing two worlds united and fighting was enormous. One was full of fire and lava, with the air filled with ashes that covered the entire sky. Luckily the other side had Therazane and with her control of the earth she created mountains and hills that blocked the passage of the lava and prevented the rapid passage of the heat behind it.

Alongside the lords were their second-in-command, the elemental princes. They also possessed enormous power. And after the princes, the ranks kept dropping, but it could not be doubted that with the presence of the elemental lords, their most powerful subjects would be present. On the earth side, the stone and diamond giants fought against the lava giants that burned everything in their path.

The fight was amazing. My first time seeing an epic fight with creatures of monstrous sizes, whose battle changed the terrain around them. The smaller elementals, such as myself and the fire elementals I have faced, made room and avoided such battles. But being the lowest caste our numbers numbered in the thousands, and that's as far as I could see, but they stretched over the horizon.

When Ragnaros became impatient, he began to quickly approach Therazane with the intention of destroying the stony mother. On the other hand, Thezarane, seeing Ragnaros approaching, had no choice but to play along. Her displeasure at fighting was obvious, but it did not diminish her strength in combat at all. Both elemental lords were giants, although Ragnaros was the larger of the two, Therazane was not small at all.

To give an example. Imagine a small mountain, now imagine that mountain floating a few feet above the earth, and that would be Therazane for you... It was huge in every way, but powerful.

Ragnaros on the other hand was a huge humanoid giant made of pure fire, whose limbs, like the other fire elementals, possessed defined muscles. His arms were muscular and ended in hands with 3 fingers. What I would say is most iconic about Ragnaros are his two flame horns located on either side of his head and whose face was defined by volcanic rocks arranged in such a way that they resembled a skull. The flame oozed out of him, and his every step caused a small earthquake.

Behind these two giants were the elemental princes who would confront the princes of the opposite side, thus preventing them from interfering in the battle of their elemental masters.

That day I paid close attention to their fight, for that fight demonstrated the greatest fighting style that had been used in both elements up to that time.

Ragnaros did not possess "Sulfuron", nor did he possess armor, but the flames and huge fireballs he used to attack did not lessen the impact of the battle. Both elemental lords were casting their most powerful spells at each other with the intention of dealing a lethal blow to the other. Unfortunately, Ragnaros was unable to do anything to Therazane, as she raised huge pillars of stone that stood in the way of his flames and fireballs. Therazane countered with sharp pillars that she summoned around Ragnaros. But Ragnaros would not go down easily with that either, as the two were a bit far apart, as Therazane would not allow the firelord to get close to him, constantly attacking him from afar. In turn, the fire lord seeing that he would not be able to get close, had opened a hole in the earth where he would settle and turn his lower body into a huge whirlpool of flames that heated the earth and created lava around him, contaminating the earth in his vicinity with fire energy and giving the fire lord semi-intagibility.

The battle between the two elemental lords raged for days. But with the smaller elementals dwindling and unable to gain the upper hand in their fight, the Fire Lord reluctantly withdrew, vowing that he would return to reduce their mountains to rubble and fill the plains with rivers of lava.

And that was the first time I encountered such a battle. Battle of a war that I am sure will not end soon.

I'm currently fighting some fire elementals. It's been a while since I've seen that fight and I've managed to grow a bit more. My training hasn't stopped and I've improved a lot. Where I have improved the most is in my mana-less boxing. So many days of back to back fights have put me on the brink of life and death. With so many elementalists attacking non-stop and with the terrain changing every so often, that I have managed to survive is partly because I try to fight in the areas farthest away from the real fight, which is where the elemental princes are, who are the ones who could truly turn the tides of the fight between the elemental lords. But unfortunately the personalities of the princes almost seem to be a copy and paste of the personalities of their lords, with some changes of course.

And also my survival is due to luck, yes, luck. Every time a battle starts I put myself in the background of all the elementals, but, even so, there are times when the elemental lords launch attacks on us smaller ones, and pity the group of elementals who have to play with the fortune of being in the wrong place at the right time ... Sad for them.

This is the only way I have survived the worst, the rest is already my experience thanks to the constant struggle. I also thank my fellow elementalists and their deaths, I thank them deeply for releasing "first aid" every time they die. Their corpses are well used and may their spirits rest, amen.

Defiling elemental corpses is not the only thing I've done, I finally realized why elementals eat the "Cores" after winning and before continuing to fight, and it's because there's no time to do it afterwards. It almost seems like a tacit law among all elementals, it's unbelievable, but I guess this law came from their survival "instinct". Or from the current situation where hundreds of elementals are dying every moment.

Thanks to my bodily ability to not feel tired at any time, I guess that's what the "Cores" are for, or to my elemental physiology, I have managed to improve my will and I have started to feel a short time ago, the same as with my mental powers. I have begun to feel that I am gaining the ability to begin to have a basic control of my bodily powers. As for my empathic powers, they cause me a lot of problems. I have to fight away from elementals, because if I get too close to large groups I can drown in anger and it doesn't suit me. It's also thanks to this, keeping my conscious thought even over my feelings of anger, that my will has grown so much. But I'm curious what the feelings Ragnaros and Therazane will convey will be like. With how powerful they are I'm likely to end up with no control, so even more reason to stay away from them.

With one last blow I killed the elemental I was fighting. It turns out that I got too used to the fire elementals of my current rank. In a 1vs1 fight I'm unbeatable, in a 1vs2 I face some discomfort, but in a 1vs3 I'm already overpowered. Not because I don't try to improve, but it's because of my body and slow movements. Simply put my current body can no longer handle my degree of improvement. That's why I've been slowly getting into larger groups of elementals, to put myself under pressure and keep my critical thinking above all the violence, anger and need to consume, that runs through my mind and being.

We've been fighting for a while now and I sincerely want this to end quickly, but I don't think it's possible. The elemental lords have been fighting for a relatively short time and it will be a long time before they stop again.

And there goes another one of the Fire Lord's attacks... I'd better keep fighting.

I decided that my next fight would be to get involved in a 5vs5 fight, and I already had my eye on them since it was 8vs8. So I went in with two stones in both of my hands and hit one of the fire elementals in the back, just as the earth elemental was hitting him in the chest.

*BOOOOM*

The fire elemental momentarily stood still, long enough for me to hit it in the back again, causing it to move forward slightly. This move won't cause any trouble to the earth elemental in front of it, though if it did I wouldn't mind. The reason I push it forward is because of the "unconscious" move it will make next and that is to try to get back to where it was and turn around. ---*BOOOOM*

In all that repositioning, I've given him "2" more hits, and the earth elemental "1". As soon as he turns I just raise both arms, which causes him to try to dodge to the side, which I allow him to do. I keep my arms up and when the fire elemental goes to throw a fireball at me, I lasso one of the stones in my hand.

Hahaha, how I love to fire back at them...hahaha.

With that the elemental dies from the damage. This didn't happen before, but I figured out how to make the stones I throw at them do as much damage as a stalagmite, if not more. And that's by creating the stones with a lot of magic. Each stone costs me all my mana, but I make them as hard as my magic allows and the only detail is that they are round.

The sad thing is that they don't last long when I throw them. If anything they last 3 throws and explode. That's why I prefer to use them as boxing gloves and cast them only when the elemental is too far away and has become overconfident, or when the mana in the stone is running low.

With the elemental dead, I go in search of my "Boxing Glove Ball", though I'm prepared in case the earth elemental misinterprets my objective. Fortunately he goes in search of his "Core" and I calmly pick up my stone. We're now 6vs4 so they're likely to start retreating shortly. I already know the drill, so I look for another group of elementals. This time one where there are more fire elementals, maybe a 3vs4 in favor of the fire elementals.
