"Let's not kill the zombies anymore, except we really need to," The girl says.

"Are you sure?" The boy asks while displaying doubts on his face.

"We kill just when we need to survive, if we need to run we run."

"Why do you change your mind?"

"I don't want to see you hurt, and neither you, it may seem like we are cowards. But, I think it's better that way. I just want safety for both of us." She bits her lip, unable to speak from the suffocating sensation on her chest.

"Okay, this time I completely agree with you," The boy touches the girl's hand with his left hand softly.

"If I am in danger, you should never, ever, save me,"

"Okay, now I can't do that." The boy shots back.

The girl chuckles. She spots tiny white dots descend on the car windows. It's snow. She taps the windows with her fingers, her lips curving up a slight smile. The boy gazes at the girl smiling at the sight of snow, he slips out a tender smile. A gentle warm feeling fulfills his heart. He locked his hands with hers strongly. He wishes that they could stay at that moment forever.

"Let's visit my parents for the last time, " The girl declares.

"After that, we can go back to the woods and live the rest of our lives there,"

The boy stops the car in the middle of the road. He brushes his finger on the girl's cheek. He leans in closer, his nose nudges the girl's nose. His black deep eyes meet the girl's blue ocean eyes. They both close their eyes leisurely. He landed a kiss on the girl's lips. He gives a gentle pressure on her lips. He could feel her soft breath on his skin and her cherry lip balm on his lips. The girl grips his jacket nervously making it wrinkled.

He's pulling away from his kiss gently and then caressing the girl's head slowly.

"I like that idea," His eyes beaming with happiness. Unintentionally, he smiles brightly at the girl.

The girl is mesmerized by his smile, he stares at him for a while to capture this moment in her heart forever.

The boy is driving down the road when his eyes capture a swarm of creatures heading at them. He instantly retreats the car back.

"Why there are so many of them?"

"It's because we're getting near to the capital,"

"What should we do? do you know any other way?" The boy speaks in a panicked tone.

The girl stares into the swarmed creature intensely. As if he's reading her mind the boy says, "No, don't be joking," he rolls his eyes.

"What? I didn't say anything yet," The girl muttered.

"You're going to tell me we should just crash into all of that creatures," The boy speaks as he shuddered at that idea.

"How do you know?" The girl glances at the boy as she blinks her eyes.

The boy sighs.

"Being around with you all the time makes me scared of myself, I'm afraid I'm turning into you,"

The boy's left foot pushes the left pedal. Then, he moves the gear stick into 4th gear, he lets out his breath slowly. Next, he opens his eyes wider and enforces all his energy on the right foot to push the right pedal. Lastly, he pulls out his left pedal and goes on a full speed toward the creatures. The car bumps into the front side and slowly goes through the flock of creatures.

The engine tries its best to drive through the creatures. However, they get stuck in the middle of the creatures.

Now they can't get out of the car, all of the creatures drool as they are looking at their food for the day.

"Drive faster!" The girl shouts at the boy.

"I'm trying," He pants, getting panicked by the sight of the creatures surrounding their car.

"I'm going to shoot some of them," Her eyes beamed with bravery.

"Are you crazy? how are you gonna shoot them?" The boy scrunched up his face.

The girl slams the car door, hurting the creatures that stand on the right side of the car. She pops up her body from the window. Then she's shooting the creatures in front of them. Some of the creatures bite and clench their claws on the girl's hand. She punches the creatures near her with her gun and then continues her shooting.

Her efforts paid well off, the creatures she shoots collapsed to the ground. The car moves to the outer side of the creatures' flock. The girl immediately goes back into the car and closes the car window.

"We did it," She smiles in relief.

"Are you okay?" The boy's eyes focused on her wounds.

"I'm going to be fine, just keep driving," she winced while holding her right hand.
