Vaness Shawn, as well as the WIA's leaders, were gathered around the table for the negotiations. Glen squinted and his gaze that was locked on the woman didn't miss the slight movement as her fingers clenched the tablet she was holding.
Like everyone else in the room, she was reading his copy of the list of grievances sent in by the Werewolves, and it was more than easy to see that none of them liked what they were reading.
The WIA agent looked up and for a moment, all the contempt and hatred she felt toward the werewolves were on full display. She regained control of her features but Glen and Heather were sure of what they could expect from the WIA. This split second of sheer hatred was their true response. No matter what came out of their mouths, it would have no value.
Agent Shawn cleared her throat and exchanged a brief glance followed by a nod with the people seated next to her.
