Pathless Forest

It was a long day ,May who has gotten what she came for is now getting ready to leave the room. As she was preparing to come out of the room she had said her goodbye's for the day, when she suddenly saw Zine outside the room with his head down facing the ground immersed in his thoughts .May walked out of the room and stopped by where Zine was lost in his thoughts , after that Zine snapped out of his thoughts and went back to reality. May spoke while she was standing in front of Zine she said....

May: "if you're worried about him his resting"after saying that she went on a head and went to her separate way to where Kyle was at.

Zine was left all alone again but this time he was full of relief , he didn't know why he was worried before nor why would he be relieved but all he knows that his glad that Jake was fine. While on the other hand Jake who is sleeping peacefully in his room started to fall deeper in his dreams as he rest in a room where fireflies of lights in different shades of color gather to replenish his energy....

"Little kitten....where are you?"

A soft voice started to talk in the dark shadows, Jake was happy to hear the voice coming from afar. Jake soon starts to walk to where the voice was coming from in the dark tunnel of darkness soon he found himself coming out of a cave as he looked back from where he was outside of the cave was a forest abundant with wild plants, trees and animals he soon remember that the place where he stands was the place where he used to play with his pet. But it soon passed his mind as he hears the voice again calling out...

"Kitten!... mommy's getting worried now!.."

He went to the direction where it was coming from and found a woman desperately looking around and shouting in a worried voice Jake then run towards the woman and hugged her as soon as he reached her.

"Mom.....hic...I miss you" little Jake said while gasping for air as he sobs while talking.

"Ohh....dear where have you been? ...is this how your father and you play hide and seek?"

The woman with a braided white silvery hair, and a pair of ocean blue eyes said as she hugged and lifted the little Jake to the air and spin around with him.

"Yep...hehehe..."Little jake said while giggling while his mother embraces him off the ground.

"I see..... your father needs to be scolded" She paused in mid sentence and whispers the remaining sentence connected to it.

"Mom...why can't we go to the city?"Little Jake said as he looks up to his mom in a pleading eyes waiting for his question to be answered.

"Little kitten...when the problem settles, we can go to the city and play in the mall as much as you want" She said as she starts walking while Jake was in her arms.

"But there aren't no problems though..." He said as he tries to remember if the family are having a problem...

"and you and dad aren't fighting, I don't hear loud noice from a few miles in the forest" He added and hugged his mom and looks back where the place they left was still there.

"Kitten it's not about the outside world it's about how people might hurt you" she said as she pat's little Jake's head from the back in a soft voice.

"Hmm..."little Jake nodded and rested his head on his mother's shoulder and drifts of from the sound of his mother's heartbeat.

They kept on walking straight in the pathless forest and walks aimlessly into the open where a person was standing waiting for them to come back with an open arms.He had a deep black hair with a pair of eyes that are the same color as a setting sun with a reddish-yellowy-orange sunset. She slowly walks faster to where the man was standing, little Jake looks ahead and the place where they were once in is now covered in bushes and trees and not in anyone's view hidden from everyone else. He hears a man's voice chuckling away as he was getting scolded by the person who was carrying him gently...

"I'm sorry honey ok?..."

The man said softly like begging for forgiveness from his wife as he chuckled while his right ear was getting pinched with her fingers not to hard and not to soft just enough to leave a reddish mark.

"I learned my lesson ok hon?..but he was there right? His hiding spots are really good too" the man said earnestly but suddenly changed in a serious tone as he thinks of the places of little Jake's hiding spots...

"Sometimes I can't even find him and I could only see him if he had gotten out of his hiding spot" he said in a really low voice not enough to let his wife hear him.

"What did you say?!..." she said as she looks at her husband with a doubtful look.

"Nothing hon. I'm saying is it's really fun playing with our little kitten....ahhaha" he laughed and tried to divert his wife's attention with a guilty expression with his right hand on his forehead.

"Dad!...I missed you" Little Jake said while going down from his mother's embrace and jumping to his father's.

"You missed me?...hmm?" his father said in a smug expression.

"Yep...hehehe...kyaa.." Little Jake giggled as his dad tickles him all over.

"Haya....you two, you both are really mischievous...hahaha" she said as she look over them as they play...

"Lets go inside already, you've been outside for too long little kitten" she added.

"Ok" both of them answered at the same time.
