A King And His Guard

Wade was just walking into the house, to his mom sleeping on the couch, waiting for his arrival. He picked her up and carried her to her room. Wade went back to his room and took a hot long shower, thinking back on what happened a few hours prior.

"Where did the king and his guards go?" Wade asked reverting to normal before he made any rash decisions.

"I ate them, sir"

The amount of bloodlust that starting leaking from Wade's body, scared off any animals or weak supernatural. Wade went through all that trouble just for some goblin to come in and steal his meal. Wade pushed a tree and left created a hold deep in the tree the size of his hand. The girl without anything another thing other than instinct could tell that Wade was dangerous and was shaking, too scared to move.

The goblin's heart was beating through his chest fast and heard as he starting to sweat from the reaction of Wade. Wade could smell the fear in the air, so he decided to calm down, and talk to the goblin calling him king.

Wade walked over to the kneeling goblin and told him to raise his head. Wade could see the fear on the goblins' face, so he was now going to take a calmer approach.

"Why are you calling me sir and my lord?" Wade asked because that was the first thing that came to his mind talking with the goblin.

"When I heard you roar, I knew your superiority and knew that I wanted to serve you until the day I die, sir," The goblin said sounding confident.

'Nasir is there a way for him to swear his loyalty to me? I don't sense any bad intention from him,'

"Well, maybe if you check your skills you wouldn't be asking me that,"

'Bind'

A scroll appeared out of thin air with instructions on how to bind someone. It stated that all they had to do was have the intention to become bound and sign with their blood.

"Draw blood and put it on this line here," Wade said showing the goblin the contract.

The goblin bit his purple and his blood started to flow from his finger. The goblin spread his blood across the whole line. When he was done, the contract disappeared and there were no changes at all, until, the goblin started to disappear into thin air, never to be seen again.

"That must be the form the king was using," Say said thinking his thought out loud.

Wade then closed the tab then looked back at the girl that he had almost forgotten about. She was pinching her nose due to the smell of the burning and rotting corpses. Wade had completely forgotten about what he did so he killed the goblin he had tied up, and all the damage and goblins disappeared as nothing had happened.

Wade saw the look of surprise on her face but he was also surprised how all the damage was gone in an instant almost like none of it was real. But most of all, he wondered if for now on should he bind or eat the more powerful creatures. But most likely, he would have ended up eating the stronger ones because they wouldn't want to become servants of his.

Wade walked over to the girl, the girl he still hadn't asked her name so he was going to do so now.

"By the way, what's your name?" Wade asked picked her up then jumping into the trees until he got out of the forest.

"My name is Lydia, Lydia Ace," She said with her eyes closed, gripping my neck because she was not used to being carried while jumping from trees.

'Lydia Ace? Where have I heard that name? WAIT, isn't this the girl that Cole has had a crush on since kindergarten? Oh man, he's going to throw a fit when I tell him,'

"Where do you live?" I asked finally seeing a clearing out of the forest.

"I live on ... by the ..."

"Ok, is there any way I can avoid confrontation with your parents?" Wade asked thinking of a way to explain what happened and why their daughter is naked.

"Yeah, just drop me off in front of my window, I always keep it cracked a little bit,"

Once we were out of the forest, I let her down but almost fell due to her running almost a marathon earlier, So I picked her up again and jumped from tree to tree in the darkness like a ninja in the shadows.

Once we were coming up to her house I jumped up in the air, landing on her roof, not making a sound, not wanting to alert her parents.

"Its the window right there," She points to the window with a very small opening with curtains covering the inside.

I walk over there and open it. I turned around because I didn't want to look at her while she climbed through because she was still exposed. A little while later, she came back to the video with clothes on and handed me back my jacket.

"Where's your phone?" I asked putting my jacket back on. I couldn't imagine how Lydia felt because it was freezing outside.

"Right here," She handed me her phone and I put my number in it.

"Look, if you want to talk here's my number and if you are ever in trouble call me, I know your scent so I should be there if you're not far away," Wade said handing her back her phone and getting ready to go back home.

"Ok, and, thanks again for saving me," Lydia said smiling at Wade then closing her window.

"Oh yeah, don't tell anyone about me or what happened tonight, got it?" Wade said switching his tone looking deep into Lydia's eyes.

"Yeah, I got it," She said with a shaking voice. She knew Wade was serious once his voice changed from a kind to a more stern tone.

Then again, Wade was off in the trees. He would prefer to run on all fours but how would he explain if someone caught him. He didn't want to take that chance so he stayed hidden. After a little while of jumping in the trees, he finally made it home.

Wade was just getting out of the shower, looking at himself in the mirror with a towel around his waist. He wipes the fog from the mirror. He turns activates his red eyes that somewhat startled him. He had never seen himself when he turned. He saw that he had more canine teeth that were sharper and looked more like a wolfs.

Something Wade did notice was that his skin was clearer and his muscles looked more defined than what they were before. He looked at himself and he was shocked by the new improvements. Was it because he turned into a demon? Was that the cause of his transformation?

"Yes, it does, and you should be grateful, you looked like Sloth from the goonies before," Nasir said laughing to himself.

"Wait, how do you know about human movies? I thought this was your first time coming to earth," Wade said sounding skeptical.

"No, I've been here plenty of times to enjoy what you humans call movies, games, and food and more things,"

"And, this is when the demons of hell weren't trying to kill you?"

"Well, I can say that was another reason due to my childlike behavior,"

"By the way, why did why exp bar rest back to 0 but the requirements go up?"

"To give you somewhat of a challenge. Every 20 levels your exp with go back to 0/100 to make it too difficult to the point you have to eliminate races or large villages of supernatural beings,"

"Ok, that makes sense but I have another question,"

"Was there a skill that you had that would kill demons or whatever you killed in one shot?"

"Are you saying just because I was a demon lord I was a mass murderer?"

"Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying,"

"You know, your kidneys are looking really healthy, it would be a shame if someone were to eat them,"

"Ok, ok, my bad but can you tell?"

"It called black flames, it extremely hot and dangerous,"

"Aren't you used to being hot? Since you were in hell for a few hundred thousand years,"

"Just because the demons burn doesn't mean I do as well, I hate the heat unless I was taking a bath or shower in lava, other than that I hate it,"

"Lava? how are you still alive?"

"That's beside the point, you are tired you should go to sleep,"

"I'm not even that tired," Wade said laying down on his bed. As soon as he got comfortable, he was passed out from being out all night.
