WAR-Destiny of Future

I am putting this into a temporary hiatus, some of you might have found out that the plot of the recent chapters are rather out of order, yes, I am losing track of the current plot, so, I probably need a month or two to rearrange everything back to order. While I am sorting out the plot of this story, please kindly go read and support my other story for now. Two Immortals had lost their memories due to several reasons and they had to stay in the human world that is known as Null Dimension with the identity of high school students in order to find out the truth, the hint slowly lead them to the boy who is the bloodline for the ancient vampire Master Dracula. The Immortals have to face enemies from different places in order to succeed in their mission, however, they soon found out the whole crisis they are facing are related to an overpowered organization that is known as Kingdom, which later they realized that they are actually directly related to that organization but they can't remember anything about it. And then the writer starts getting crazy and added lots of 'interesting' elements to it. Causing the lives of the Immortals even more difficult than before as she is lusting for blood... *cough *... Yes, I'm serious about this. As the writer getting darker and darker and hating life, the story goes darker and darker and more disturbing as the story proceeds. The laziness of the writer causes a lot of grammatical errors that she never plans to correct it, so this turns out to be a good material for students to learn grammatical errors. In short, this story is about two overpowered characters that lost their memories and had no choice but to live in the human world as high school students. Anyways, update every Tuesday and Friday and Sunday. (could have less, depends on my mood and level of motivation) By the way, what I said about the grammatical errors is purely a joke, don't take it seriously if you are not even planning to read it. *roll eyes* ** don't get deceived by the first few chapters, this is certainly not a comedic story, it's dark, and I'm serious about it. *** this have became my 'sand box' to play and practice with all the different writing style, plot and character developments, thus, please don't put much expectations on this.

Chapter 297 - Sky versus Sheriff. (2)

Without any intention to escape or block that multiple directional assaults of Sheriff, Sky closed his eyes and focused his magic around his own body, just as the sharp air bullets were about to get him, he opened his eyes and the magic focused around his body blasted off, forming a wide-ranged magic burst that wiped out all the grass on the ground as well as flattening any rough texture of the ground. Unable to escape that powerful counterattack from Sky in time, Sheriff once again put up a barrier, but this time, the barrier broken apart as soon as the magic burst contact with it, thus only parts of the magic burst been absorbed and blocked. The remained impact of the assault successfully peeled off a small strip of skin from Sheriff's left cheek and dislocated his right arm.

"Ah! Sorry... I didn't mean to..."

Sky is a bit shocked by the outcome of his own attack, he was expecting Sheriff to be at least able to escape that magic blast of him. However, before Sky could even react, Sheriff shook his dislocated arm really hard and miraculously fixed it.

"Ah... Never mind then." Sky murmured as he realized that Sheriff's arm is totally alright.

Then, without any moment of delay, Sheriff grabbed his spear firmly and aggressively piercing the air lots of time at a really high speed, creating a highly dense and continuous sharp airflow that aggressively pierced towards Sky none stop. As he did so, a pale bluish aura focused around the spear which makes the piercing air flows even stronger.

"Hmm... Did I just flipped on some switch of him?" Sky murmured as he escaping the continuous air pierce.

Suddenly, he felt a weird numbness that spread through all over his body while his vision turned slightly blurry.

"Damn it... The after effect of that drug. What a bad timing." He thought while he still escaping the air pierce perfectly despite of the discomfort.

Unaware of the body condition of his opponent, Sheriff spotted a breaking point as Sky's movement slowed down a little, taking that as a rare opportunity, Sheriff ran towards Sky, aiming for a short distanced direct hit. As he running towards Sky, the blue aura around his spear became thicker and brighter, which gives a more dangerous and powerful look. Getting distracted by all the air pierces and the discomfort on his body, Sky did not realize about Sheriff's sudden change of moves. When Sky finally noticed Sheriff, it is a bit too late, he is unable to escape that powerful and dangerous direct weapon attack in time, the spear pierced directly through his right shoulder.

"Ah..."

Sheriff is slightly panicked by that perfect hit, he doesn't expect that his spear will pierce directly through Sky's shoulder, he was expecting a much lighter damage. However, Sky's slightly sinister smile totally changed Sheriff's thought. With that slightly creepy and sinister smile on his face, Sky gripped Sheriff's spear with his left hand before brutally pulled it out from his bone and flesh, then, along with the spear, Sky aggressively thrown Sheriff away to an area ten meters distance away from him, which is actually the borderline of Field B.

"Oh my! That was close! If Mr. Sheriff actually crossed that borderline, he would have lost the match!" the Emcee Cat exclaimed as the audience getting heated up by that brutal yet amazing move of Sky.

"Ah... I see, so basically kicking someone out of the field works too, huh?" said Sky as the wound on his shoulder started self recovering at a really high speed and totally healed in less than five seconds.

"Hmm... I guess Longe isn't the only one with such amazing self-healing ability." said Sheriff as he stood up and brushed off the dirt from his clothes...

Meanwhile, Ben's mini dimension.

"Hmm... Indeed, I remembered reading about that rule earlier. But seriously, if they could win by just throwing their opponent out of the field, why are some of them even bother to hurt their opponent so badly, as if they were aiming for their opponent's life. And yes, I am talking about that guy you fought earlier." said Ben as he is watching the match through the holographic screen.

"Dr. Ben, I believe they don't mean it... but... Yes, you are right, I indeed felt his murderous intensity during the match earlier." said Itsuki, in a careful tone.

"Hmph... Are you saying trying to make you losing consciousness through continuous blood loss is unintentional? You are such a naive boy." said Ben, rather sarcastic.

"Uhm... Dr. Ben, you sound quite hateful towards my previous opponent, is there anything wrong about him?" Itsuki asked, still in a careful manner.

"Nope, I just don't like that guy, that's all. Seriously, if he wasn't lying unconsciously in the infirmary out there, I would have tried my new 'toy' on him." said Ben as he picked up a small test tube with countless of tiny red eggs inside.

"Unconscious? What happened to him?" Itsuki asked, rather surprised.

"Ah... Haha, well, apparently, I am not the only one that is upset about how he treated you on the field." said Ben, with a rare laughter...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, meanwhile, the waiting area.

"Ah... So, you don't really need to immobilize your opponent to win after all, seriously, I should have hit that guy harder." said Chris.

"True but... Chris-chan, don't you think you are a bit too harsh to that slenderman?" Maria asked.

"Not a bit, Sheriff is the one that gave me the permission to punish that guy, it seems like he is quite mad about that too, even the organizers having no problems about it. Moreover, I only slightly cracked his life core, while I could just throw him into my Grave Dimensional and let him rot in there. Hah! He is not that invincible after all. By the way, what the hell with that nickname?" said Chris, in a casual tone.

"Hehe... I just felt it suits him well. But, I'm really curious about something, Chris-chan, are you always this concerned about Itsuki-chan?" Maria asked.

"Well, he is our team member after all, we can't really let him getting bullied on the field and ignored him." said Chris.

"Ah... I agree with you. Oh! Wow! Look at Darling! He is so energetic! He must be having a lot of fun right now!" Maria exclaimed, rather excited.

"Mmm..." Chris nodded as he continues to observe Sky's movements carefully...

Sky: "As what Chris said. Right now, this story is free on the authorized platform, so please read it from authorized platforms as mental support for the writer."

Chris: "Mhm... There are two authorized platforms. One is webnovel.com. And another one is that messy and half-dead Weebly site that she uses for draft and backup... But not recommended."

Sky: "Ah... Haha. Yes, as Chris said."

Chris: "But look out, those scums might change this note to their own website link. So, be cautious.

Sky : "By the way, if the cover page is the old cover page that shows  two stickmen, stop reading it, it's cursed and might caused the writer to stop writing."
