Chapter 278 - Another Dangerous Combination.

On the field, particularly field A, the match between Ai and Yuki with the demon girls had started for a few minutes and is slowly heated up. The demon girls had already entered a half demonic form, while Ai and Yuki are in a 'ready to battle' mode. Ai is as clean and simple as usual with just a single dagger in her hand, no other fancy things, Pinky can be seen in her side pouch, still in her cute bunny form. While Yuki is in her battle form, with her bracelet activated and her torsos covered in metal veins, Sandy (the sandworm) is not seen on the field.

Unlike Ai who remains her composure like a silent predator, Yuki's fighting style is much more aggressive and initiative. Part of her metal veins turned into a missile launcher and launched some lock-on missiles that targeted the two demon girls. As the demon girls escaping the missile, a pair of saber grows from Yuki's hand, and she started some aggressive short-ranged attacks as the long-ranged attacks still ongoing.

Yuki dashed towards the demon girls and slashed towards one of them but the demon girl dodged the attack. As Yuki continues her attacks, the demon girl noticed that one of the missiles is flying towards them, and so, she has a plan, she decided not to escape the next attack of Yuki as she knows that the missile is going to reach Yuki first before Yuki's blades reached her. However, things don't seem to go according to her plans...

The missile passed through Yuki's body directly without leaving any trace as if she is made of liquid. Then Yuki gives the demon girl a smile before slash through her chest as the missile exploded on her.

Her body and organ were almost totally destroyed, so I gave her a new body that is strong and flexible enough to prevent most of the damage, or at least any type of physical damages will not be able to harm her." said Ben, still casual.

"Ah... I see. Heh? Does that mean you were supposed to be able to save Junior's mother if I didn't..."

"Nope, that's an entirely different case." said Ben as he continues watching the matches.

Participant's waiting area. Sky is watching the matches (daydreaming) while Chris finally decided to read the match's rules properly.

Basically, these creatures are the combination of the two demon girls that have the strengths and abilities of both of them, just that they are in an unstable state.

Seeing all those shadowy creatures Ai chose to ignore them, she held her dagger firm and dashed towards the demon girl in front of her. As she is doing so, more than three of the shadowy creatures started charging towards her. However, just before they could reach her, Pinky jumped out from the pouch bag and somehow shake off the sachet bag from its neck, which turned it back into that muscular Pinky. Without any moment of hesitation, Pinky gave those shadowy creatures a fierce uppercut, turning them into dust and smoke. While at the other side, Sandy, the gigantic sandworm jumped up from the ground and gulp down the remaining shadowy creatures in one gulp...
