Chapter 3 - David Leon Williams

Evan was having Goosebumps all over his body. It was his first time visiting the main building of DLW . It was a magnificent building. Which is most distinguished from all other buildings in that city.

He travelled more than 1 hours to reach here.

Morris was showing Evan the way.

A manager saw Morris coming from outside. He became nervous and ran towards them . Morris talked something with that manager. After hearing something from Morris. Manager looked surprised and he looked at Evan in disbelief. He then showed Evan a smile full of admiration and Respect. Morris looked at Evan.

"Please come this way"

They reached the entrance of an Elevator. Morris pressed his tump in the left place of the elevator. It made a beep sound. After waiting for 5 min the elevator door opened.

Evan's heart beat began to increase rapidly. He saw the chairman many times from a distance.. They even interacted with each other directly when the chairman helped him before. This was not his first time having a face to face conversation with the chairman. But still he was nervous.

Evan Gulped his saliva. Elevator was centralised with AC . But Evan's whole body was sweating.

They reached a door. Morris stood aside and knocked the door two times then Opened the door for him. Evan looked at Morris just like questioning if he isn't coming. Morris glanced at Evan but didn't give any response.

Evan entered the Room with hesitation. Suddenly the room door closed . Evan flinched . He looked around. A magnificent Room, it gave off some historical vibe but was still luxurious and modern. At the side of the room there was a bookshelf which contained many books.

Evan looked at it. From a distance he can only see the words like Law and Management , there were also words that he didn't understand. There is a couch and a table. They were arranged for guests. And there is a door which is closed near the shelf which may be the room where the chairman sleeps when he is tired.He tried to Guess. And then he slowly walked forward .

After a few steps he saw a person sitting in front of a half circle office table. Reading some files in front of him.

Evan suddenly felt a thunderstruck. He had seen many handsome guys in his life , in movies and dramas, even real life. But this was his first time seeing a person who can't be just described as handsome. There were no words to describe him.

Maybe God will get jealous of his good looks. There is a calm aura surrounding him but Evan is somehow intimidated by that aura.

Evan looked at him. His magnificent black hair , which is slightly curved . And his golden phoenix eyes which had a red shade. Those eyes were covered in a golden framed spectacle.His perfect facial features gave him a god like look. But his eyes gave off an intimidating aura.

Just from a look Evan understood why all the company employees without considering there gender got attracted towards him.  Evan felt a tingle in his heart. And his heart beat rapidly increased. But he, who already gave his heart to someone else, ignored this feeling and he believed that this feeling is because of his nervousness.

Suddenly the person reading the file looked at Evan. When his phoenix eyes landed on His face. Evan suddenly felt a shiver through his spine. He didn't know why but he became unable to take his eyes off the person who was staring in his eyes. His body Froze.

Suddenly that person slightly smiled at him.

" Oh.. Mr.Brown.. you arrived" His magnificent voice echoed in that room.

David Leon Williams looked at Evan and smirked. Then he got up from his chair. And walked towards him. Just like a predator walking towards his prey. Evan doesn't know why but he suddenly felt an urge to run far away from this person.

But his body neglected command from his brain. And stood in the exact place.

Leon stood in front of Evan.

"Come sit" Leon took Evan to sit on the couch.

Evan didn't understand why but he followed Leon's command. And sat on the couch.

Leon poured some tea on the cup and gave it to Evan. Evan just like a puppet took a sip. Leon sat on the couch in front of Evan and looked at Evan . His eyes clearly showed affection.

Leon smirked at the panicked Evan. Then he locked his eyes with Evan.

"Do you know why I called you here? " Leon asked with serious eyes but it was so calm.

Evan flinched at the sudden questions.

He Gathered his courage and uttered the words.

"Is.. isn't it ab.. about my promotion" Evan shuttered

Leon smirked " Yes you are correct "

"But do you know why I invited you here "

Evans' heart began to throb...

"N..no..sir,." He mumbled.

Leon's smile disappeared from his face. And it showed an intimidating look just making others feel like the later look was an illusion.

" Mr. Evan, it is because I am here to inform you that , There is no more vacancy in this company to promote you"

What...what did I just hear? I must be heard wrong..right?

He looked at Evan with a confused face.

"Wha... What do you mean by that sir.."

Evans' body began to tremble... He felt like his whole world was crumbling.

"It's just like you heard Mr. Brown. There is no vacancy available in this company for you" Leon replied nonchalantly....

What..... He internally screamed.

His heart rate rapidly increased..

He didn't know what to say. And what to do. Many thoughts passed through his brain.

If he loses this job. What would he do. How can he help his mother. How will he pay for his sisters fees. And how , his family would fall into despair...He knows there is no other company which will give same amount of salary for an omega. And also there is no other company where omegas can work this comfortable.

And what about finding a new job? For an omega finding a job is like finding a pin from the ocean....

Just like this many thoughts passed through Evan. He became more tense every minute .....

After seeing Evan's pale and tense look. Leon's lips slightly curved up ....
