I aM wU Yi

It knocked itself on the metal gate several times but it continued this for another thirty minutes before realising that this was not the right way.

The skeleton formed a fist and punched the gate.

Boom, this one punch left a large indent in the iron gate.

Boom, the black skeleton punched a second time in the same spot.

Bloom, boom, boom, boom, boom, the skeleton punched in the same spot until its hand passed through the door forming a hole.

When it saw that the whole was in no way big enough for it, the skeleton gripped the hole on both sides and began tearing the gate in opposite directions.

It power was quite the wonder.

It tore the gate like a slightly harder piece of paper forming a large opening.

The skeleton entered through the hole and when it saw what waited for it on the other side, the red glow seemed to shake with desire.

The skeleton saw fifty of the things that had wwoken it up early.

These things looked weaker than the ones it had met but it was just happy to find these things. It was as happy as anything without emotions could be.

The humans saw the skeleton and in that moment, they saw their deaths. How each of them would die was reflected at them by the red glow.

The skeletons moved its red eyes about as though counting its prey.

It did not have any weapons or anything special about it except that it was pitch black.

They had never in their lives seen or heard of a black skeleton or even one that could move about the world in opposition to the heavenly dao.

This was a terrifying first for the humans in this town and the world all over.

The skeleton was as powerful as a ninth stage Spirit Name cultivator and the humans in this town were not even in the fourth stage.

They stood no chance. The skeleton released a black sinister qi that enveloped the entire town.

The darkness alone made most of the men responsible for guarding this town which had a population of over two thousand people into cowards.

They fell to their knees and some of them peed and pooped in their trousers.

The stench of this humiliation further broke the morale of the remaining guards.

It started with one person fleeing for dear life and what followed was a mess that could only be described as each man for themselves.

He skeleton made quick work of the guards with minimal effort. It did not leave the gate area. Instead, it began sucking out the blood from all the corpses.

Even the blood that had spilled on the ground was not spared. The skeleton put its hands on the ground and the sphere below its sternum increased its rotation.

The blood was sucked out of the ground and into the black bones of the skeleton.

When it was done, it made sure to put the corpses in one single heap before moving deeper into the town. It went house by house killing indiscriminately.

It killed the old, the young, women and men. Even children and babies were killed and sucked dry of their blood.

By first light, the entire town was dead.

Thousand Flower Town, the closest town to the dark canyon had become a ghost town.

The skeleton had become even more intelligent and self-aware.

It did not go out into the light.

It sat on the pile of guards next to the gate. It had piled the corpses in a small guard house. The skeleton still did not know the reason it felt comfortable and at peace whenever it was next to dead bodies but it repeated this ritual nonetheless.

The entire town was silent as the skeleton closed its eyes.

The sphere rotated and absorbed the mysterious qi from the corpses.

It felt the long-awaited peace and comfort.

It had quenched its hunger on the blood of thousands of living creatures including the animals that had been inside the town.

The skeleton sat in peace and waited. It did not know what it was waiting for but it did.

As the day went by, some people came to the town. The moment they saw the bodies that littered the place, they ran away screaming.

Over one hundred people saw the horror that had befallen the town and they did what scared humans did best. They sought out other humans for help and comfort.

The news of the massacre spread through the nearby towns. This news was so terrible that the mayors of these small towns wrote letters to the imperial court asking for help. They dispatched their fastest raiders but this would also take time as the capital city was a great distance away from these desolate towns.

The mayors quarantined Thousand Flower Town turning it into a forbidden area.

Time went by and like all bad things, the humans chose to put the ghost town to the back of their minds.

Five years later, no human had dared enter the town and it was covered by dust and mold. Grass, trees, and vines had begun regaining the land but nothing that had a brain could be seen in the town. It was night time but not even a cricket could be heard in the town. The place had become so desolate that not even birds would shit in the town.

There was not even a single corpse to be seen in the town where thousands were massacred.

Not even bones could be seen.

The town had become a sinister unclean place that all humans shunned.

In the town hall, the skeleton sat on what remained of the dead humans and animals?

It was mostly soil with a few bones here and there.

It had not changed even the slightest. It was still a normal skeleton with black bones except that the power that came off the skeleton was now far beyond the ninth stage of martial cultivation. It had entered the path of the immortals ,if it could even be called that.

All in all, it was as powerful as a Qi Gathering cultivator. Night replaced day.

The skeleton opened its eyes and its eyes were no longer just glowing red lights. They were now more like blood-red rubies that glowed with an red ominous light.

"I aM wU Yi," it said in an eery-clicking voice.
