C6 Night gala

The preparations of gala has made the palace busy again. The servants were running back and forth, quickening their pace to comply the duties that was set upon them. Crowded by the maids, the palace's kitchen was the most busy as they were preparing the food that will be served tonight for the guests. It was originally planned to be a little grand, but king wants to welcome the return of his younger brother in a very luxurious and elegant way.

Meanwhile, Raeliana has worn a smile since waking up until she finally wore the gown. The time got quite quick and the preparations went perfectly. All it was needed is the presence of their guests. Justin couldn't escort Raeliana because he was stationed to guard the duke from his house till his arrival on the palace. Disappointed he was, but he knew that his duty as a knight comes first.

"Young mistress, the carriage is ready. Inform us if you're prepared."

Raeliana was feasting her eyes on the jewellries that was laid before her. Expensive and rare gems, she was sure that it was enough to buy her a house on her world. She picked a very simple accessory but still matches her elegance. Jade teardrop necklace was her preference and was lucky to have the latest set of jade. Lastly, she put the tiara on her head. Raeliana resembles a fairy from the nature, or a muse from Greece. No doubt she was mentioned as the second most beautiful character in the novel.

"I'll be going now mother. Please take care while I'm gone." Showing her curtsy once more then left.

She was actually nervous of going to the palace. It was the home of several character of the novel, meaning a high chance of meeting them would result a change of her fate. She knew it was tricky to get inside the lair, but has no choice after she received a personal invitation from the king. She was the chief knight's fiancee afterall.

"Just avoid meeting Noah or even Beatrice. Refrain from getting involved in any trouble." She kept reminding herself to behave like a noble lady should. The palace gates were grand, but inside was grander. The stairs through the main hall has little crystals hung on the wall. Illuminating the path to the main hall. Raeliana's eyes mesmerized across the beautiful entrance of the main hall. It was covered in white roses, with a little silver ribbons tied on each flower.

"The king had arranged this.. just for his little brother."
