God's Identity

I traced the row next to it and saw what's written on it.

"Heh~ the Sons of Sparda huh." God said and I felt speechless as what came to my mind when the Sons of Sparda were being mentioned are definitely Dante and Vergil. Although Vergil is a villain in the game, in my mind, he is a villain you just can't hate, sure he may be an a-hole but still, his movesets, his demeanor, his poise, even his appearance was cool. But what makes him scary is his sword and his mastery over it.

As for Dante, he's a built-in annoying guy who cleans up his father and older brother's mess. He would always taunt his enemies to death. He is also a master when it comes to using different weapons like darts, nunchaku, dual wielding, heck, even a motorcycle.

"Check your inventory quickly, I want to see what's inside the inheritance as well." God urged me to do so. It might be my imagination but I felt like I heard a kid giggling.

I shook my mind off of it and once again opened my inventory. Another panel appeared when the inventory came up, making me choose on who to prioritize between Dante or Vergil.

'Do I want Dante or Vergil more?' I thought to myself. Dante's style was messy while Vergil's was more classy. I thought for a few moments before pressing Vergil's. It might be my childishness acting up but I think Vergil's skills with the Yamato is the cooler one. I mean, sure, Dante can link up weapon after weapon and changing styles every hit but its just too messy for me.

The inventory panel closed before another panel opened saying, loading please wait, and a bar was filling up.

When the bar was filled up, the inventory panel showed up once more and I felt excited after seeing the items inside.

"This... these are mostly Vergil's weapons..." Although I've prepared myself, seeing it in my inventory, surprised me into a daze.

'There's Beowulf, Perfect Amulet, Force Edge, and the sword that made Vergil famous, the sword that could cut through space itself, the sword that could separate man from demon, the Yamato.

Wait, that's not all... there's rebellion, a silver clamshell pocket watch, and a few books as well... Darkslayer Arts? Quicksilver? Doppelganger? I get Doppelganger and Darkslayer arts but Quicksilver and Rebellion? Isn't that Dante's? Oh... I see. So that's why it asked me who I prefer more. Although I preferred Vergil, it gave me things that Dante have that is suitable for Vergil, otherwise it wouldn't be called 'Sons' of Sparda's inheritance.' I thought to myself as I stared at the inventory.

As much as I admire them, I still can't touch them, simply because I don't have a body currently. I'm still a ball of light.

"Heh~ Looks like you got some good things." God said to me.

"Now that everything's settled, its time for you to go." God said while I came out of my daze.

"Where to?" I asked.

"To another world of course." God replied.

"I mean what world?" I asked and the man's face grinned and showed himself. The golden radiance suddenly got torn and what appeared was an old man wearing a formal attire and a cloth that was slung over his shoulders. His grin was apparent on his face with playfulness in his eyes. Others might've not know him but I do.

"Zeltretch." I muttered his name unconsciously and his grin turned even wider that it would reach his ears.

"Looks like you know me, kid." Zeltretch said as he chuckled.

"Then that God bullsh*t earlier was all made up?" I asked him seriously.

"No, it's not. I watched the creation and fall of civilizations." Another voice resounded and it was similar to the giggle I heard earlier. A figure came out of Zeltretch's shadow and I was surprised as the figure formed into a boy.

He has a small red-colored heart below his right eye. His most distinctive features are his eyes, for they are multi-colored. Despite the fact of his eyes being multi-color, his right pupil has a diamond shape and his left a spade shape on it. Seeing him, stunned me. A lot of things happened in a span of 30 minutes.

"Hello, I'm Tet, the One True God." Tet said and I was shocked.

'Wasn't this Tet from that anime?' I thought to myself.

"Also, meeting your family's soul and their wishes are not a lie, you could say I bumped into them.." Zeltretch said and I calmed down.

"What now? If Tet is here then, is Disboard the world I'm going to?" I asked and Zeltretch shook his head.

"No. The world I'm going to send you... I'm going to give you a hint." Zeltretch said playfully.

He raised his palm and placed it in front of me. A small holographic tower appeared in front of me and I instantly know what world I'm going down to.

"You're kidding right?" I asked in confirmation. That world is full of red flags. Plus that world is somewhat distrustful especially their God.

"Nope. I'm not kidding." Zeltretch said with a grin.

"Why there?" I asked again. The reason why I could calm down was because my thought acceleration was already in play. It was already forming plans on how to deal with every situation that would be given to me.

"Your aunt has another message for you." Zeltretch said while Tet is holding his laughter.

"What...?" I felt suspicious about it but chose to hear what my aunt said. Zeltretch waved his hand and another interface appeared in front of me but it contains only a green line. When the message started rolling the green line started vibrating as it formed multitudes of lines to indicate my aunt's voice.

"If you're still single by the age of 20, I'll come down from the higher plane and beat your ass, you hear me?"

I was speechless when I heard my Aunt's real final words. While its true I was never married, I still have some experience in handling women.

"Is what she said true?" I asked nervously. If she would really come down and beat me to death then screw it.

"While it is indeed impossible, I could allow it and give her powers to really beat you to death." Tet said and giggled as if enjoying my misfortune.

"Since I'm a benevolent old man, I'll help you so that you won't be beaten to death by your aunt." Zeltretch suddenly said and it all suddenly clicked in my mind.

"So you chose that world?! I mean there are other places that are the same but not that dangerous!" I shouted back while ramming my body to Zeltretch but I was only a ball of light.

"Don't worry, since Tet and I doesn't consider your RPG interface as one wish, we decided to give you at least a good start and background. Or do you want to go to this world?" Zeltretch said, it didn't quell my anger but when Zeltretch showed me a red gauntlet, my anger was poured with a cold bucket of water and I couldn't help but curse.

"F*ck you, don't you know that a God there was in the form of a loli? You're a lolicon aren't you, Zeltretch? Or maybe you've had a crush on her, right, Tet?" I bursted out while Zeltretch and Tet were just laughing.

"Oh please, I'm more into fun and games, you know that." Tet said while giggling.

"I'm more into watching interesting people, not a loli." Zeltretch shrugged as he spoke.

"What Tet said maybe true but YOU on the other hand has lies written all over your face!" I said and Tet was rolling in the air laughing. While Zeltretch just scratched his beard.

"Anyway, time for you to go." Zeltretch said and Tet waved his hand as a portal appeared. Zeltretch then took out a staff and slammed its butt into the ground.

"Wait a minute, let's talk about this oka- F*CK!" I was suddenly pushed into the portal by an unseen force.

"Let's play again sometime in the future." Tet said while waving his hand at me and it was the last thing I heard before the portal closed.

"Do you think, he'll be okay?" Tet asked Zeltretch who was scratching his beard.

"He'll be fine, besides, I sent him to meet the owner of Yamato himself first before going down to that world, it would be no fun if he just died without having the strength to fight back, right? Anyway, what about the two that appeared in your small world?" Zeltretch asked Tet who was smiling.

"Yes, they're really interesting. They just won a Kingdom using a game." Tet chuckled while Zeltretch had a grin on his face.

"Interesting." It was Zeltretch's last words before they teleported out of the white space.
