Twin Phoenix of Solaris

"I have fulfilled my part, it is your turn, David"

Hearing Weiss call him by his old name, or rather true name, made him twitch, although it was a subtle feeling, it was still noticeable, his hand was half clenched as if resisting the urge to clench them.

002 turns away from Weiss and stares into the seemingly infinite white void, his helmet was now down and a complicated pensive look could be seen from his visage, his short white hair a result of his old age beared marks of war and toil, his face at this moment resembled that of somebody on the verge of death and reminiscent of the look, those who perished on Kraken(Yotrheim) at the hands of the lvl trelfs would have had, as they were pierced with an endless barrage of javelins.

It was evident 002 didn't want to tell the story as he reluctantly begins to narrate, closing his eyes in an effort to remember what he could,

"hmm, the Twin Pheonix of Solaris"

He mumbled.

"First of all" Twin Pheonix of Solaris" is a title and within this title "Solaris" is a planet, a colony planet of the sovereignty to be more precise, and this is where the story takes place.

300 years ago when the sovereignty was still young, we had already spread and dominated a vast part of the observable galaxies and Solaris was part of this dominion, but she was not completely liberated from her previous master, they called themselves the Burning Sky Race, although the sovereignty had invaded and colonised them, there were still remnants who hid in the secret spaces on the planet.

In vision of the delicate situation on Solaris, the emperor instead of a governor, he sent a legacy family, a transendent family descendant of a lvl 8 and above, to rule the planet in his stead, the story's heroine Ignis originates from this family, The Pyron family.

Ignis Pyron was a beautiful noble lady with golden brown skin typical of those born on Solaris, she had rose red hair and firery eyes that burned with spirit, she was the oldest and only daughter of the Pyron family's patriarch, the Pyron family was a young one, it was only a dozen generations old and Ignus' father was the first son of the founder.

Although Ignis was a legacy, she wasn't born with innate talent, but with hard work and her family's resources she was able to keep up with those who were considered geniuses.

Meanwhile the hero of the story, Lucian was but a commoner on Solaris, although the sovereignty was a partial democracy since the emperor never openly interferes with current affairs, in cases like Solaris that was an unsecured colony, illustrated a social hierarchy in which the ruling family has the first and final say, a monarchy of sorts.

Becoming a transendent was the most direct and easiest way to rid one's self of the status of a common civilian and better one's life. Lucian was among the fortunate ones, awakening his transendent abilities at the age of 18, even if he was ten years older than Ignis, aslong as you awakened before the age of 20, you are bound to reach at least lvl 5 in your lifetime, and even more fortunate he awakened to the fire attribuite similar to Ignis who had awakened at the age of 8,Solaris had an innate fire energy that favoured fire attribute sentinel types.

Lucian joined the Pyron family to get the backing and help of a legacy family inorder to be able to grow his abilities as much as he could, Lucian was extremely talented and was able to catch up with Ignis despite the disparity in resources.

The two won't come to know each other until more than a hundred years later when Ignis was 140yrs and Lucian was 150yrs, they were both at the 5 lvl when the remnants of The Burning Sky race emerged and waged war on the humans, the sovereignty sent forces to put them down, but when they arrived they found the Burning Sky race had utilised and ancient sun dial hidden deep within the planet to seal Solaris, locking the sovereignty out, it was unclear how long the seal will stand, but it would stand for long since the burning sky race dared wage war against the sovereignty, the Pyron family was in this way isolated along with the few neo legacy families that served as vassals, they were on their own and they had to fight the Burning Sky race without the sovereignty's reinforcements.

The war waged on for a hundred years, most of the Pyron families and it vassal's lvl 7 and 6 transendent died, some, of old age but most, at the hands of the enemy, even the patriarch of the Pyron family who was a peak lvl 8 transendent, honourably self detonated at a critical moment to kill 2 of the enemy's lvl 8 warriors, but what they were facing was much more than a force, it was civilization in it own right, although weakened, they still boasted 3 lvl 8 warriors of which 2 were slain.

With the death of the Patriarch and most of the second generation, Pyron was now headless, the war didn't offer endless battles, but graced the two forces rest and truce over the decades, but the endless warring slowly brought the Pyron family to it's knees.

Ignis and Lucian had fought many battles together, most almost depriving them of their lives, Lucian was very talented, and despite being a vassal he was able to reach the 7th lvl, similar to Ignis, and that before the average age of 300, it was on the hundredth year when the duel of the scorching field was fought, as the last battle between the humans and the burning sun race, the duel would decide the fate of the human if Solaris, the last remaining lvl 8 warrior of the burning sun race, Sokari of Solaris was their champion, the humans of Solaris lacked a lvl 8 champion and so Ignis and Lucian stepped forward to fight.

The burning sky race's champion looked down on them and underestimated them, the gap between a lvl 8 and 7 was abysmal, it would take at least four lvl 7 individuals working together to best a lvl 8, no one believed they could win but Ignis and Lucian were confident, to some extent.

Lucian and Ignis working together to fight for their's and other's lives had greatly honed their skills, the experience allowed them to come up with a technique that could rival the power of a lvl 8.

Not much is known of how the fight went on, the fight took place in the skies of solaris, their battle shook planet and where ever they flew, no one dared to come closer, the battle raged for almost a day and a half, rumbling and crackling could be heard overhead, their flames lit the sky even in the daytime, finally both forces saw a flaming object falling through the sky at tremendous speed, it impacted hard on the surface of the planet crating a large crater.

The humans had resigned to their fate as they proceeded to fetch what was left of their champions, the body was chared and unrecognisable, although it was one body that lied in the center of the crater, they were sure because the rumbling and crackling had ceased to terrorise the skies.

Tension arose on one side and solemn state on the other, although the humans thought the corpse belonged to one of their champions, it was but a speculation. On the other hand the enemy knew by facts that the corpse belonged to Sokaris, as confusion was starting to rise, a loud cracking sound resound, putting everyone on edge, the seal had collapsed.

In response to the matter of the sealed Solaris, the sovereignty sought the help of the Transendental Emperor after all methods had been exhausted. The Transendental Emperor, filled with righteous rage upon receiving the news, left Cassen, the home world, for the first time in 3 centuries, at this time the emperor was a lvl 10 transendent, although it took effort and time he eventually made a crack in the seal, allowing the sovereignty's forces to breach solaris, but the Emperor's rage reached inconsiveable heights when he saw that the human population on solaris was now less than half it's former self, with just a gaze he exterminated all the warriors of the burning sky race above lvl 5, without even stepping on Solaris.

When the two champions were found they were half dead their skin blackened from the severe burns, they survived but the Pyron family had degraded exponentially.

The emperor was touched by their sacrifice and bravery, so he awarded them the title of Humanity's Gaurdian, a title given only to strong lvl 8 transendents who had served as humanity's protectors during the escape from Earth, the old home. Later the people would give them the title, "Twin Pheonix Of Solaris", and later when the emperor found out how they defeated the lvl 8 enemy, he personally bought their technique "Two Suns Anilation" for the sovereignty' s special use and once more rewarded them with lifelong imperial protection, which meant that aslong as the figure of an emperor stands, their Pyron family will never come under the suppression by other legacy families, even if Pyron loses it worth and territory.

"with this the story ends"

002 said with a somewhat sad look said.

"Are these two still alive?"

Weiss asked as he began to slowly fade and deconstruct,

"No"

"200 hundred years passed and Ignis was still stuck at the peak of the 7th lvl, unable to breakthrough she slowly succumb to old age, Lucian was saddened by this and suppressed himself at lvl 7, refusing to progress any further, in the end they both died together. "

002... explained.

" Quite beautiful hearts they must have "

Weiss remarked as the last particle of his form vanished.
