As I look at them, it feels surreal. I can't sense any danger, but the pain in my chest is making me feel bad.
"General, what happened? How come an Altas Princess saved you? Are you sure they didn't do anything to make you lose your memories?" Sergeant Patrick asks.
I thought it was a serious conversation with them. "Patrick, this isn't the time for that," Countess Arida says.
He looks down and stops asking such questions again.
"It's okay, Arida. Let's hope it wasn't, Patrick. But I saw how Princess Astrid sacrifices her life in order to free their kingdom from her tyrant brother. That's what I'm holding for," I mumble.
He smiled and looked at me with respect and love. I guess I'm not respected because they have to. It made me happy.
"General, even if you can't remember everything, we are still delighted to have you in a meeting like this. We still need you," Arida says.
