Unluckiness strikes again
Eliza's POV
I place the bread on the table and look at him as he takes a bite. My husband looks at me with a smile as always.
"I suddenly remember when you asked Anna to teach you how to bake bread. You ask her again, and yet the outcome was still the same," Prince Kalix says.
I bite my lower lip and look at him. "She also said the same thing. She even teases me. Does it taste bad?" I ask, looking at him with hope. He chuckled and pinched my cheek.
"Yeah, it's awful." I blink. I guess I failed! Oh my! "Grab a bite."
He pinches a part of the bread and feeds me. I was about to chew it when he suddenly bit the other side, and now our lips were brushing each other.
I was about to move away, but his palm was placed at the back of my head. I wasn't surprised when he claimed my lips. I wrap my hand around him and respond to his kiss.
"It's delicious as always," he mumbles huskily. I gulp. I know my cheeks turn red.
