Chapter 13 A Mysterious Man

After saying this and seeing the elevator doors open, Lydia went inside and pushed the switch to close the elevator. Watching the elevator doors slowly close, Lydia took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and leaned on the corner of the elevator. Her body shook a little while she started to calm down. But because the umbrella was too small, when she reached her destination, Lydia realized that half of Archie's body was already wet from the rain. Her clothes were already wet from the rain blocking for Lydia.

At that time Lydia loved Archie, she felt that the man who was so gentle to protect her, should be the man who loved her very much. But Lydia never thought that was a pretext. When Lydia pulled out the money, the coins suddenly dropped. She could not hold it firmly, as Lydia's hands were frozen. She immediately leaned over to pick it up. Unfortunately, however, that coins fell into the ditch.

All she could do was look at the coins that was down there. She felt like she was going crazy, how come the days didn't go so well?

She shook her head and smiled bitterly. Her head looks like it was about to explode, "I'm okay that someone underestimates me, I can handle it. But why a coin like you, do something like that to me? I just wanted to use you to pay for the bus, after all you were designed to be used for. But look at yourself! How can you let go of your own value, and decided to be in that ditch. You are not worthy of being a money!"

Suddenly, the chuckling voice of a man came from behind, "You scold that coins like that. Do you think it's got a leg and will got out from the ditch?"

Lydia was startled, then she turned her head. She saw a man with a pair of jeans and a white T-shirt behind her back. Lydia could not clearly see the man's face, because his face was half covered with the hat. Not only that, the sideburns on his face made him look like a homeless person.
