Chapter 12 Sugar Baby?

Lydia went straight to her company. After Lydia's arrival at the Lizzie Ahn Company, the person the Chang Family had sent had been waiting for Lydia for some time. When he saw Lydia, the person smiled straight away and brought the contract, "Miss Ahn, sign this agreement, and the Chang Family funds will arrive at once."

Lydia checked out the contract, and then signed it. When Lydia saw the person leaving, she frowned while she wanted to leave. But there was somebody applauding behind her, and then there was also a cold voice, "Am I astonished that you have acted so arrogantly? It turns out you were successful in getting favors from the Chang Family. Do you think I should be surprised? Who is the member of the Chang Family have you been sucking up to? In the Chang Family, it's just Andrew Chang who's left. The rest are sick, even some of their relatives have disappeared. Is this really true? Is it now Andrew's turn? Ever since William went into a coma, everyone has said that Andrew, as the Second Young Master of the Chang Family, is going to take over the Chang Family. But he is pretty old, you know. You might even think of him as your daddy. Or is he your new sugar daddy?"

Hearing the chilly voice, Lydia instantly knew it was Archie Kwan. She frowned, then immediately went up to the lift, and pressed the button upwards. Lydia then said in a deep voice at the same time holding her anger, "It's my business, to be fair. What does that have to do with the great Young Master Kwan?"

Archie came alongside Lydia and grabbed her wrist, he muttered,"Of course it has something to do with myself; I am your future husband. Even if I don't want you any more, you can't go with those old guys for money either. Aren't you going down so low? Being another's old man sugar baby?"

Archie couldn't figure out what the connection was between Lydia and the Chang Family. The only thing he could think of is that Lydia is selling her body and looking for sugar daddy. And a while ago, somebody from the Chang Family showed up at the Lizzie Ahn Company. They even have an agreement with so much money. There was no denying that this money came from the Chang Family.

Lydia tossed Archie's hand, she didn't want to have another fight. Because even if Lydia says she got these funds by giving up her womb to carry someone's child that fell into a coma, it wouldn't be any better than what Archie thinks. She can't imagine what Archie would say if he found out. She preferred to remain quiet rather than tell him the truth.

William once said not to disclose her relationship with the Chang Family in front of another. And of course she won't tell anyone about the relationship with William. What was she supposed to explain to Archie? Because it doesn't matter how Archie perceives it anymore. Lydia had no intention of thinking of Archie at all.

"You don't have the right to ask me that!" As Lydia finished saying this, suddenly a glass of cold water was splashed on her face.

Lydia rubbed her eyes, then she heard the sharp voice of Scarlett by her side. Scarlett screamed and was unable to hold back her anger, "Lydia, don't you feel ashamed? Haven't you heard that Archie is my boyfriend? Don't you know that I am pregnant with Archie's child? Why do you dare to come near him again? You think because you used to be Archie's future wife, it makes sense to keep bothering him? You are so disgusting, shameless woman!"

"Enough! What are you fussing about Scarlett?" Archie scolded Scarlett a bit.

Scarlett sobbed and begin cried, "Are you scolding? Archie, are you shouting at me? And before this woman? You know I'm pregnant with your child now, don't you? You even reprimanded me for that filthy woman? You see I'm carrying your baby. How could you do that for this woman?"

"This woman?" Lydia wiped the rest of the water from her face, then turned towards Scarlett.

Rising high, Lydia raised her hand and slapped Scarlett in front of Archie. And she answered confidently, "I am more than just a woman. Now, I represent my father as the Executive Director of the Lizzie Ahn Company. If you're that rude to me, I can kick you out anytime."

"Are you joking with me? Now that the Ahn Family is on the brink of collapsed, the shares of the Ahn Family are totally untenable, right? Earlier, the other shareholders also said that Archie should be authorised to be the Director of Lizzie Ahn Company." Scarlett replied with much contempt.

Then, Scarlett turned to Archie while tapping her cheeks at the same time. Filled with tears, she said, "Archie, can you see that? She had the nerved to slap me right in the face!"

"Enough, stop speaking carelessly! Don't interfere with our issues!" Archie immediately went off the deep end.

Lydia looked up to Scarlett and laughed, "Why? Haven't you heard from Manager Kwan? I notice that Manager Kwan has already congratulated me. I think he mentioned that to you as well. I've got the funds to save this company. We, the Ahn Family, still own the largest shares in the Lizzie Ahn Company. My dad is still the Chief Executive Officer of this company. While my father is ill, I will temporarily represent him as Executive Director of the Lizzie Ahn Company."

"This? How is it possible? No way, why did you have the funds so quickly? Who's ready to give you a hand?" Scarlett was staring towards Lydia. She couldn't believe that Lydia get a large amount of money in a short period of time. Her hands couldn't stop shaking as she kept biting her lips.

After a moment of silent, Archie then looked at Lydia. At the same time, he clenched his teeth, he said in a small voice, "Chang Family."

"What? The Chang Family?" Scarlett covered her mouth as a surprise. Then looked at Lydia in a rather dismissive manner, "You, that's impossible! How come you were able to get in touch with the Chang Family?"

"Of course, by selling herself. What else do you think?" And Archie kept talking with a sarcastic smile, "The great Miss Ahn is a noble lady who excels in the business world. To save the Ahn Family's property, she'd have to be capable of selling everything. Even go with an old man! Perhaps she's not just a temporary Executive Director. But also being a sugar baby, I guess."

Lydia was sniffing around Archie and laughing, "I could care less about what you think. But it's true anyway, I'll do whatever it takes to keep the Ahn Family Company going. You two just wait patiently. I won't be a coward like you, who's afraid to face the real enemy. All you can do is intervene on other business and make a mockery of them. I'll do well against you two! Archie, you know full well, all you have now comes from the Ahn Family. No matter how much it costs, I will still take it back one by one from you. Remember that moment when you had nothing? Sooner or later, I'm going to get back to you on that. I'll make sure there's nothing for you at the end!"
