Setting things up

Everyone knows how it goes. Guy from earth dies but finds himself in a void. Waiting for some god to come around and tell him whats what.

Thats exactly the situation I find myself in right now. Just a lonely soul drifting in the void. I first didn't think I would be in the void. I thought I would just cease to exist. But since I'm here that means I'm wrong. I've read fanfics before. So I know whats coming.

Or I think I know. Wouldn't it be embarrassing if I thought I was going to reincarnate but instead went to heaven or hell?

"Indeed. That would be embarrassing. Luckily for you that is not the case. You were right the first time." A voice said to me from behind.

I already expected this, But I can't help but be a little startled. Well, I should at least greet god. It would be rude if I didn't. So turning around, I come face to face with my creator.

I'm really not trying to be rude, mostly because he has all the power, but I cant really tell his gender. I mean he has both male and female features. Now that I think about it his voice was confusing to. I hope you don't find this rude, god. you most probably heard my thoughts so I just want to tell you I meant no insult.

" Its fine," God said. allowing me to release a metaphorical breath. Because I'm dead. God soon continued, " Now before you ask me questions, because they all do, I will try to cover all the bases first. Then If you still have questions, ask away."

I nod. Well not really because I don't have a body. But I think of nodding because he can read my thoughts. Having confirmation from me that I'll stay quiet he starts explaining and I listen.

" Now first of all you will be reincarnated to a fictional world based off of chance. You can't pick. Although It's already decided. Next, this world is just a copy of the original in a seperate space. There are many copies with many different reincarnaters so that you don't have to share a world. The reason you are reincarnating is because Its basically a type of heaven or afterlife. Your decisions in that world don't effect anything. It's also why there are other reincarnaters. You will receive a random amount of wishes that will be given after your questions. And finally, you don't need to use any wishes for keeping you previous memories. Now, do you still have questions?

Yes. I still have a few but first would have to be what fictional world am I going to?

" The world I believe is about the boy named harry potter." God answered. Hmm. Ok I can work with this. This is one of the tamer worlds out there. Better than anime or an apocalypse world. I would die instantly. Though, Its unsettling because I don't know alot about Harry potter.

With that out of the way I can ask other questions with a little more generalization. First question, Is this going to be an AU with a suprise potter brother? Next is, are the Weasleys and Dumbledore going to be the sweet movie version or the evil fanfic version? Do I have a task or an obligation to be involved with harry? And lastly, How many and is there a limit to my wishes?

God has a look of under standing and answers my questions. "No, this will not be an AU version but a real copy of harry potter. The Wealseys and Dumbledore will be as they were ment to be. Though Dumbledore is still a little manipulative, he stills cares for harry and others. So no darklord Dumbledore or corrupt Weasleys. You don't have any tasks nor have an obligation to involve yourself with others from the cast. Its your choice. And finally, You will have a total of ten wishes. There are limitations but I will tell you what I can and can't give you."

Well alright. With that out of the way and no other questions I can think of, lets move onto the wishes. Can I state them now?

"Yes. Yes. By all means." God said with a smile.
