Chapter thirty seven

After an hour, Kelvin reached the house, he saw Samuel and Anthony with their phone.

" Samuel " he called.

After a while, Kelvin went to Amanda's room, he knocked.

" come in " Amanda said. As Kelvin entered the room, he was surprised at what he was seeing, Amanda's eyes are already swallowed and red, it was very obvious that she was crying.

" Amanda, I'm sorry " Kelvin apologized as he sat beside her.

" that what? " she asked.

" about you and Praise " he replied. " it my fault you two broke up, she has been you best friend for many years and... "

" and she decided to end it because I helped you my brother to be with the girl you like, and not with her" Amanda said angrily.

" I wouldn't have been with Yoma, i would have just be with... "

" don't talk like that. Just because I'm your junior sister and you love me, doesn't mean that you will date my friend, just so you will keep our friendship alive..."

" no Amanda, I'm feeling bad, I feeling that this is my fault. This is gonna be the first Christmas that you will spend without Praise, and that's because of me " he yelled.

" okay" Kelvin nod.

" go, I want to be alone " she said as she lay down on her bed, and use the sheet to cover her whole body. Kelvin left the room, still not believing that he's not at fault.

Kelvin reached the living room, with an upset face.

" hey don't blame yourself " Anthony rubbed his back.

" but... "

" no but " Samuel walked in... " right now we should be thinking of how to make our little sister happy, than for us thinking about who is at fault. We should replace Praise, after all, we know Amanda more than her" Samuel said to encourage them.

" Praise knows everything that we know about Amanda " Kelvin said.

" but she's our sister " Samuel said. Kelvin couldn't say anything. " good that you've decided to shut up " he added, then continued....

" Amanda need us right now, she need her big brother to replace the one and only best friend she had ever had, and the only female friend she had ever had, before she met Kelly. So who is ready? " he yelled.

" we are " instead of two voices, he heard more than. He turned back and saw Akini and Akede, then they all laughed.

Praises home

Praise was on the phone with Fabian, who had called her to make her reconcile with Amanda...

" Praise, I can't believe you unfriend Amanda, just because her brother didn't like you" Fabian said.

" why Amanda go help Kelvin gist the girl? ( why will Amanda help Kelvin to ask that girl out?) " Praise yelled.

" she didn't know.... " Fabian got interrupt...

" I don't care. All I know is that she helped him.... " Praise got interrupt...

" you're a fool, so when Amanda was like if you agree to date Kelvin, and you guys have any issue, that she will be involved. Even as he didn't like you, you are still putting it all on her, what kind of friend are you?, you unfriend her because.... " Fabian got interrupted as Praise cut the call.

" I nor wan hear nonsense ( I don't to listen to nonsense) " Praise said angrily. Just then Tare entered...

" you like join us? ( would you like to join us?) " he asked.

" no " she replied, then Tare left the room.

That night, Praise remembered that every Christmas watching night, they would throw crackers at people's body, and their own bodies. Praise decided to take walk that night.

" seeing people will take my mind off Amanda " Praise kept on talking, until she realized that she was standing opposite Amanda's house. She saw Amanda's brothers were keeping her company, and even Fabian was there. They were having fun.

She remembered her time with her brothers, then she decided to go home, to have fun with her siblings. They were all happy to see that Praise is willing to join them, they had so much fun.

That night they all had fun, they shot much bomb, and stay outside until their parents called them in. They slept very late, after watching two hours movie.
