Twilight Saga - Breaking All

Once upon a time, a man lived a glorious life. Then, he found himself in the world of Twilight. So, he killed a lot of people and showed a smile of satisfaction. Sometimes, people just needed to know their place. Watch as he rises from an outcast to an idol in the world of sparkly bloodsuckers. (A/N: I do not own Twilight. I am just a writer who enjoys putting out great stories. So read them on here or on patreon.com/TheGreatestHunter if you want to get ahead.)

This is not what I want. This not what I planned. And I just gottta say, I do not understand. Something is really, something's not right, really wrong. And I've got to get things back where they belong!

Is exactly what I feel like the universe is telling me, only without the singing talents of Sharpay to make light of the situation. Why else would I find myself envisioning a future with a gorgeous girl I don't even know.

In the original, Jacob imprinted on Renesmee, however it was never said what that sensation was like for the girl.

Well, here I stand, in the arms of the lovely Rose, undergoing the sensation that goes along with being imprinted upon...and also the reason why Emily decided to stay with Sam after he clawed her face in a moment of the worst homage to Wolverine, ever.

It feels like a piece, a piece that I did not realize was missing, was slotted into place, provoking emotions that I instantly bitch slap into next week.

And it appears, Leah and I aren't the only one's to notice.

The battle that should have broken out, has ceased.

The wolves look conflicted.

Jacob looks enraged, like he is struggling with himself, to really move his bowels, but it. just. won't. budge.

And the vampires appear to be trying to make sense of why the wolves immediately went from murderous to perplexed and conflicted.

However, all the awkwardness is broken by a gruff bark from Sam that sounds somewhere between determination and resignation.

How do I know this?

Because I'm Baby.

My speculation is further supported by the stiff way that the wolves are backing away from the invisible line that neither side had yet to cross.

All of them, stepping back, while some do so before beginning to furiously shake their heads.

I don't need to connect to their minds to see that the link that forms the mental connection between pack members has been reestablished. Especially with the way a few are giving Leah looks that spell disbelief as she turns towards them with her teeth bared and a growl in her throat.

However, I don't worry much.

After all, imprinting is supposedly a sacred thing amongst the shifters.

So sacred that, no matter who the imprintee is, they automatically fall under pack protection...at least according to the "fiction" I watched.

However, based on the way they all collectively continue to back down from the conflict, it seems the same still holds true.

That is fortunate......

And unacceptable.

If those piss-ants were to be allowed to run their asses in here, break that beautiful glass wall, and then just run their asses out like it was a trip to the park, the precedence that sets is not something I can allow. Not if I want both of these groups to fall under me...after all, respect is everything.

However, I can also recognize that, no matter how much they are backing down, tensions are still high. And just because I might fall under pack protection laws or whatever, that does not mean everyone else in the house does. And while they did come here for the express purpose of tearing me apart, that doesn't mean their targets cannot change.

Diffusing the situation does seem like the best outcome for the safety of those who watch my back........

'Carlisle,' I call out to his mind and I see his ear twitch, letting me know he hears me, however he doesn't turn my way. His worried eyes remain on the one wolf that still looks ready to fight, as do the rest of the vamps. 'I want you to tell them something.' I tell him, continuing on, further interfering with his concentration.

'Tell them there will be a meeting held between your two groups. Do not ask them, tell them, there will be a meeting, please.' I add the please, because manners are everything.

'Is there a reason? It seems they no longer wish to pursue this conflict further for some reason. It would be best to let the matter rest and revisit when cooler heads prevail.' He responds. Correctly assuming I can read his thoughts, despite never giving any indication that I could. Though, it makes sense why he would assume and it's not as if I was hiding my prowess in the mental arts anyway.

'Carlisle,' I begin, my tone one of solemnity. 'They just stepped in your house. Challenged your people with the intention to kill at least one of them no matter what. And now, they want to just walk away. Is that all that the name Cullen amounts to? Is that the level of respect that should be shown to your family by outsiders? Nah, I don't think so.' I state, channeling my best Erik Killmonger that any baby possibly could.

And based on the way that the stances of every single vamp in the room just changed, I can tell I struck a nerve, because damn right I projected that to everyone.

'Too long has the name Cullen meant nothing in the world of the powers that be. I've seen it all through your eyes and your minds. Your family has been challenged again and again by those who had no right to think that they should or could take something from you. Aro allows you to exist. Jane tortured your son to make him kneel and obey. And then held court to decide the fate of him and his mate. James bared his fangs at your family, walked away, and then came back to hunt your people down. Victoria pranced her ass through your territory like she owned it. Laurent came back when you left to finish off someone under your protection, with no hesitation or second guessing. And now the wolves walk in your home and believe they can take a member of your family and then leave. All because you let them. Well I say no more. No more allowing anyone to think that it's okay to hurt this family. No more allowing anyone to bare their fangs in our direction. No more allowing fear to rule our lives. Compassion and kindness are important. But the moment those aspects are directed at enemies is just another moment that you tell the world that they can be cruel to your family.'

And just like that, shit got real.
