C2 Priceless Jewel

'Hoo'

The baby makes a melodious puff, feeling he had stretched itself, and then he flapped the two bright wings, appearing right above the ant colony.

His eyes darted from one ant to another, trying to identify them. His curiosity was dragged away when he heard the snapping of twigs. A herd of life forms passed by, some looked at him but they were not interested as they moved on with their pilgrim. After they pass, another scary life form comes and passes, following them.

To the baby, he doesn't understand what it means. Nonetheless, the baby made a mental note to observe them later.

Then he looked back at the ants for some time, then at the tiny trees called grass. The baby raised his hand and touched the leaf with his finger but jerked it faster with a frown and pain expression.

His face contorted, wanting to cry but he held on and looked at its finger.

He has a tiny tear and blood seeped out. Not even one-tenth of a normal drop. The baby's eyes zoomed as he saw three sleek tiny thorns that pierced its finger.

Then his eyes darted to the grass responsible. On the leaf, there were numerous tiny thorns that human eyes can't see but the baby can see the thorns clearly.

He waved the hand and healed back while making sure he didn't leave behind its blood.

That didn't stop the plant to start growing, slowly, its variety improving, gaining new traits and character.

Before the entity's curiosity was attracted by something else, the roots of the plant were already attaching themselves to the grasses around it.

What will become of it? Only time will tell!

The baby's movement is not something that can be explained in logical understanding as with a flap, he will appear wherever he wants in an instant.

That can be called fast speed or teleportation and when the baby flapped inside a tree burrow, the wings were still perceived as 100 meters long but they fit into the small location.

For this, one will throw all reason and just watch the entity without trying to explain it.

After wondering, the innocent child was apprehensive because he couldn't touch anything without injuring himself.

He has tried touching different plants to see if he can caress them but the effort is futile. All of them injure it.

The boy's last resort was a plant found in this cave of a tree but when he touched the flower, he was also disappointed.

With limited understanding, the baby realized that all the plants have tiny hairs that are detrimental to its skin. While the few extremely smooth leaves have microscopic crevices. To the entity, they were massive coarseness capable of grazing it.

With that realization, the baby floated around without touching anything. All he did was observe, eventually, he came across this new thing.

The baby observed the new thing, it was inflating and deflating slowly, it wasn't the wind that was shaking it, rather, two holes that pulled the air and released it.

He had forgotten that he had seen something similar but, after some time, he remembered he had.

The baby has zero knowledge of anything, but the inherent ability to resurface forgotten memories.

It can only recall what it sees, hears and feels upon its arrival on the planet. The only thing the baby has was a built-in instinct that aids him in avoiding things that might harm it. And also, a great curiosity to wander and experience everything.

With all that, the baby was a fast learner. It was capable of coming up with an accurate understanding of things after interacting with anything in a short period.

And what it gleaned from the inflating and deflating structure was it was different from the things that tethered to the ground and swayed with the blow of the wind. Though some plants' leaves shift as the Sun shifts, none were capable of moving from one place to another.

This one though was different. It sucked in air and released it. It sometimes shook its body even without the wind. And lastly, it's not tethered to the ground.

It concluded it was a different life form with movement capability just like the insects and birds it interacted with.

The toddler floated just above the life form and extended its hand and stopped… the baby was afraid the soft floppy looking thing would injure it. It closed its eyes and moved forward touching it. And when it touched the floppy thing, there were no scratches or gashes, the feel was heavy but the material was soft.

'He ha'

It clapped happily with a wide smile and dived inside the thick wool. The poor sheep opened its eyes and turned around with a Meeh!

And it saw a baby lying on her back. She can't turn her neck completely, for that she couldn't see the baby completely but that was not what worried it. The baby was too heavy and she couldn't move. Not only that, but the sheep were also having a hard time breathing.

She wanted to shake the baby off and scare it, maybe its parents would pick it up but the moment those thoughts came, they faded and she thought about allowing it to sleep for now until it left on its own.

Yes, the toddler was now fast asleep!

You can't blame a baby that roamed the massive forest observing everything for several days without a wink of sleep, right?

As the sun rose and the temperature increased, that began to affect a certain silver-skin toddler who was busy sleeping on a giant sheep with enough wool to drape a king-size bed.

The toddler has a serene face with the corners of his lips curled upward. He has silver-white hair that behaves as if he was underwater as it partially floats when the toddler shook its head before it settled again.

The skin of the toddler was pristine white as if painted with bright silver colour but it still betrayed the onlookers to believe it was just a strange human albino. The strangest part was there was a soft glow from it every time it moved or got excited.

The sheep strained her head and looked back, its eyes met with the tiny Priceless Jewel of the toddler and wondered if it was going to pee or shit on her.

She no longer feels the heaviness but she still can't move.

The Priceless Jewel of the toddler was strangely cute, not in a sexy way but rather glowing with a calming light. The pe**s calmly rested on the shrunken scr*t*m and they jingled whenever he moved his legs.
