True King of the Pirates

Orion Kartia's life was cut short and he was now forced to transmigrate into the wonderful world of One Piece but thankfully he has a few gifts to help him get started! This is purely fan-fiction. It's just a way for me to practice my English whilst writing something enjoyable. This book is targeted at avid One Piece fans as there is a lot of terminology that can only be understood by people who follow the manga/anime. The release schedule for normal working weeks will be as follows: Mon - 1x Chapters Tues - 1x Chapter Wed - 1x Chapters Thurs - 1x Chapter Fri - 1x Chapters Sat - 2x Chapters Sun - 2x Chapters Any mass releases or dead periods will be announced in advance. Thank you for all the support so far but please don't hold back with the criticism as well... I need it to improve my writing. I welcome all criticism, as long as it's constructive! I'm mainly using this to test the waters and improve my writing, as I'm also working on the story I'm most proud of and looking forward to releasing! I won't be releasing that one for the foreseeable future as I want to have written the majority of the story in advance as the goal is to get paid on the back of it. And there are too many potentially good novels that finish half way through for one reason or another. I don't want my main novel to be one of those!

Shaya's True Strength

As Orion used his final attack, Smoker and his men had just arrived. When they did they were shocked, nobody more so than Smoker and Hina who knew exactly how powerful Vergo had been.

[He… He beat Vergo?!]

Smoker had his fist clenched tightly as he looked at Orion who was laying down still panting on the ground. Hina who had gone through the academy together with him let out a sigh as she had a fairly good idea what was going through his head.

[During our days of training at the Marine HQ, you were always stronger than our peers as a logia, allowing you to fight those who were older and still come out on top. Seeing a kid younger than you who was able to defeat someone older and stronger than even you must've hit you pretty deeply.]

When Jalmack's guards saw Smoker and his groups arrival, they started to calm down slightly. They saw Ori collapsed on the floor and knew this was their best and possibly only chance at taking Orion's head.

As the body of guards of Jalmack, after Jalmack was killed in their presence they would be executed without fail. If they wanted a chance at survival their best bet was to kill the man who killed Saint Jalmack.

Coming to that conclusion, the guards tightened their grasp of their weapons as they shouted to the marines.

"Kill them!"

But the Marines were still in shock by Ori's display, and lacked the courage to go and capture this monstrous child.

Having a good idea what was going through their minds the guards frowned as they said.

"Even though they're strong, after such a taxing battle they can't even move. We won't get another chance like this… It's now or never!

A Navy Admiral has already left and is on their way here! If we don't even manage to kill the perpetrator who killed a Saint and his accomplices who do you think will suffer the blame!"

Even though they knew the guards were using them, the marines understood that they weren't wrong.

After a celestial dragon being killed on an island, the marines stationed on said island would be at the very least charged and fired from their positions. With high ranking members potentially thrown in jail.

Realising that, the marines looked at Orion, Roman and Hancock with a dangerous light flashing in their eyes.

Just as they were readying themselves to act, a scarlet arrow tore through the air at a speed that was able to catch even Smoker by surprise. The arrow pierced the head of the guard trying to convince the marines to act and continued onwards only stopping after piercing the ground. After piercing the ground the arrow suddenly turned into a red liquid that looked a lot like blood.

When everyone traced the origin of the arrow, they saw a figure dressed in a dark hooded robe stood on the roof holding a crimson long bow in their hand.

[This bow is incredible… I can only draw it a couple inches back, but the power is already…]

When the marines saw the intruder, it wasn't difficult to figure out who it was. Smoker looked at them indifferently as he said softly.

"Bloody Rain!"

That's right, the person who fired the arrow was Shaya. And behind her, 2 other cloaked figures.

They were Sandersonia and Marigold. They had decided to come to the port after hearing the sounds of a fierce battle.

The two sisters couldn't stand the thought of Hancock being captured again and wanted to come to make sure they were alright whilst Shaya was more concerned about Ori and Roman who had stuck their necks out to save them, asking for nothing in return!

As everyone was still looking at the 3 of them, Shaya created another blood arrow and fired it at another one of the celestial dragon's guards, killing them before they could even react.

She didn't say anything to them she just fired at each of the guards. There was a fierce killing intent that was emanating from her body as she eyed the guards.

She was remembering all the things the celestial dragons had put her through since enslaving her and she was now taking it out on the guards.

One by one the guards were falling like flies. They tried to take cover, but it was all for naught.

The marines didn't say anything as the guards were killed, partly because they weren't their biggest fans but more so because they were intimidated by the killing intent emitted by Shaya.

It wasn't till Shaya killed the last guard and turned her focus to them did they react. She knocked an arrow against her bow and prepared to fire. As Smoker saw the lives of one of his subordinates being threatened he didn't have a choice but to take action.

He transformed into his half man half smoke form and flew at Shaya preventing her from firing at her target.

Seeing how smoker was coming at her, she changed from her original target and took aim at him. As she released the arrow, Smoker let out a disdainful snort as he saw her futile attempt to hit him, a logia, without the use of haki.

Shaya didn't say anything, just looked indifferently at her arrow flying towards smoker about to reach his shoulder.

Not thinking she could do anything to him he ignored the arrow completely, only focusing on reaching Shaya.

Just as the arrow reached his shoulder and he was expecting it to phase straight through him, Smoker felt a searing pain originating at his shoulder. He realised that the arrow he originally deemed as futile was actually able to damage him.

"You didn't use haki… How did you touch me?!"

Shaya looked at him coldly as she said indifferently.

"I ate the blood fruit, meaning when I attack I don't just target your physical body but your blood. Even as a logia, you still have blood!"

When he heard that, Smoker couldn't help but regret underestimating her.

[She may well be the natural enemy of all Logia's!]

Suddenly Shaya raised her hands as she said calmly.

"Bloody Devour!"

Smoker felt his blood stir as it attempted to escape his body.

He looked at Shaya as if he were looking at a devil.

He transformed into smoke and moved back escaping her area of attack. As he did he realised that it wasn't just his blood that she was trying to devour. The blood of all the guards she killed previously was flying towards her.

She closed her eyes and fused all the blood into one almost black arrow.

"Bloody Arrow!"

She turned to the 2 Boa sisters and said slowly.

"Take Orion and Roman and leave with Hancock. I'll bring up the rear!"

The two looked at her seemingly affected by her repeated selflessness and nodded. They knew they would be of little help by staying, but the sooner the rest of them escaped the sooner she could.

The sisters jumped off the roof and made their way over to Hancock and the others wanting to take them and leave.

Seeing the sisters trying to escape with Orion and Roman, Smoker shouted to the Marines.

"Don't let them escape!"

The marines were just about to charge towards Orion when the sound of Shaya's voice made them stop in their track.

"Since when do I not exist?!"

She looked indifferently at the Marines who were all dripping in cold sweat out of fear. Nocked the almost black arrow and took aim but she didn't aim at any of the marines, instead she took aim towards the sky.

Even though they didn't understand her intentions, they didn't dare to underestimate her.

As she released the arrow towards the sky, the marines all watched it disappear into the sky and thought they were overthinking things. Until they saw dozens of smaller red arrows falling towards them.

As they saw the arrows raining down on them they all suddenly realised how this little girl got the name "Bloody Rain".

Just as they had braced themselves as they watched the arrows descent, threatening to tear into them, a yellow beam of light tore through the sky dispersing the arrows.

"Kid's sure are scary these days!"
