Chapter 246 - Englightenment

Observing the Soul crystal saw the abstract form of a fierce dragon that was attributeless. The Soul crystal was already amplified to ensure to not let it shattered as her soul was beyond legend rank. 

This is only the level of energy that was unstable due to lack of proper Soul cultivation. She was already at a Martial Ancestor level in terms of soul energy due to having her body and soul become one.

However, seeing her Soul form meant that her root of soul had yet fused with her, letting the chance of cultivation possible. 

Caelum explained to her the Soul form and attribute she had then bestowed upon her methods but before he could recite it was halted by Nuwa.

"You already guided me and it would be unfair that I do not compensate."

"No need since I was the one who took you from your home. This is the least I could do as payment for the inconvenience."

Mother Nuwa perplexed from his words as it was rare for anyone to refuse a payment from someone especially this person was Nuwa who could essentially provide anything.

In the end, she accepted his hospitality being drawn by his demeanor wanting to know this young man who appeared to be profound wearing a veil of mystery. 

This is one of moments when Caelum did not have any intention and genuinely felt guilty taking Nuwa from her home. He had summoned Irene, Kaguya and the Boa sisters without feeling guilty because their life was in hell.

Nuwa was not and peacefully cultivated when Caelum summoned her to where he is. Though he did not regret it only felt the necessity to repay her by teaching the cultivation method suited to her.

Intently listening comprehending every line from the mantra of the soul cultivation then instantly felt a certain click letting her root of soul be cleansed by the Soul force in the surrounding.

The surrounding Soul force trapped in the sub dimension was absorbed into her Soul realm that expanded until reaching a certain bottleneck. Nuwa opened her eyes, being greeted by more clarity over everything and understood what she was lacking.

'I see we were supposed to refine our soul, separating them similar to the two paths of cultivation.'

In the Desolate Era world, there are two different ways of cultivating; one was the Ki refining where it uses external energy to cultivate, allowing produce powerful elemental technique while the other is the one Caelum focuses on, Fiendgod Body Refining. 

Nuwa, enlightened by her experience, showed gratitude that she was summoned to another verse where her path would rise beyond her world.  

Caelum already shifted the space sending themselves back to the Myriad Miles Rivers and Mountains painting where Yu Yan finished cultivating only to sense a powerful aura and quickly went to check it only to find Caelum with another woman.

"A-Are you alright, Tian!? I felt a powerful presence and….W-Who is this woman?"

Yu Yan could not help but shudder as the woman's presence eclipsed her own that made her question if this person was a true goddess. 

Nuwa turned towards her interest of the origin within the light in her body. She was able to see them with her divine senses discovering the profound light.

"No need to be alarmed, I am not an enemy. Let me introduce myself, you may call me Nuwa and may I ask who you are?"

She realizes her aura was too overwhelming from where she is finally retracting it, making her wonder how Caelum was able to withstand being in her presence.

Yu Yan felt the heavy atmosphere was lifted, letting her compose herself looking at Caelum for an answer who began to explain everything from the beginning giving a vague explanation.

"This person is above a Spiritual goddess? You mean there is more world beyond our own?"

"Oh yes, we are nothing more than a grain of atom in terms of the vastness of the true world."

Yu Yan could not believe it even though the memories about being from another world had been restored had her doubts but seeing Nuwa whose power was foreign than their own only washed away her doubts.

"Well how about we take a moment outside while I tell more about this world to Mother Nuwa."

"Why do you call her Mother?"

"Cause I like that's why."

Yu Yan only twitched her eyes while Mother Nuwa felt entertained with how the two interact, similar to a couple bickering. 

They went outside the Myriad Miles River and Mountains painting, taking the moment to let Nuwa gain more understanding about the world. She could only scorn at the history of the spiritual goddess, recalling how in the past another otherverse tried to invade her verse causing them to fight back.

"I understand your pain as I face similar calamity. Worry not, I'll offer my help to you."

Caelum watched the two get along well having something in common letting them become fast friends.

A week went by, Caelum took that time to finish any task in the Heavenly Fate Plateau deciding it was time to explore the Divine Continent. 

Yun Ling was saddened by the news but was reassured that he would return and then received a kiss from the young woman when he was about to leave. 

She left blushing having developed feelings for him after the time they spent and helping her learn to cultivate. The people cheered to his departure then Caelum took one last look then turned forward at the horizon.

"I'll probably return a year from now. The two should be in the Myriad Miles Rivers and Mountain painting."

Caelum then took a stance before dashing through thick forest deciding it was better to take the longer route in case something caught his attention. 

Along the way, he was able to find a few interesting Demon beasts placing them into his inner world to grow. Caelum took the time to cultivate his Intent, finding every flaw able to increase the potency and control over his Soul.  

He was able to reach the 5th layer of martial intent nearly equal to the 1st level of Forces in Dao.

Continuing to circulate the Soul Forces and Law energy into his Soul realm expanding it in the process then condenses turning into highly dense Soul realm where it becomes more liquid from how powerful his Soul.

Moments later the Soul Warming Lotus blooms its other petal opening the Sixth petland causing its effect to become a hundred times better than before. 

It began to spread its effect through his Soul realm that resulted in the Martial Spirit to solidify its connection to Caelum to his Root of soul. 

Caelum observed the Sixth Martial Spirit form to take shape yet had yet to find a clue it was but knew the element was related to lighting sensing the [Primal Lighting law].

He reached a bottleneck once again and quickly went into his Sea of Consciousness to find a Saint pill to keep itself cultivating nonstop.  

Taking his time to enhance his mind began to recite the Sacred Sutra that instantly affected his Profound Life and death, letting him witness the moment he had seen the Law true form and not the one where his system analyzed for him. 

The constant images of the endless void that produce the Primordial chaos that made the constant change letting Caelum understand the road he roams more clearly. 

Life and death are constant and a duality of each other. Without one of them everything became meaningless. It was then Caelum able to comprehend a new profound truth.

'Seven Hermetic Principles!'

He was enlightened, recalling a modern book from Earth about the Seven Hermetic Principles. Caelum uses these bases to let his comprehension of everything increase. 

These 'Seven Hermetic Principle' comprise of Seven major beliefs namely Mentalism, Correspondences, Vibration, Polarity, Gender, Rhythm and Cause and effect. 

He was able to utilize this to his own advantage that turned his body to reach new heights of Life and Death. 

These principles made by mortals had given Caelum to reach an enlightenment where his Inner world suddenly changed, becoming stronger due the Seven Hermetic Principle. 

It took him several thousand years within the Sea of Consciousness to wake up from his enlightenment, opening his eyes that seem to have changed. 

'That was interesting….no wonder Sora grew strong from that shit. It feels like a drug....not that I tried.'
