Chapter 247 - Glory City

Few months had passed exploring the vast land, Caelum had took the moment to spend his time improving his alchemy after experiencing the enlightenment allowing him to produce more Saint pill with veins and clouds yet unlike his first pill were incapable of cultivating even with using the same herbs and technique.

This made him wonder if the first Saint pills had deviated from normal pills that allowed it to cultivate. He had tried many times to replicate the phenomenon but his skills and mastery had not reached that point where he was able to produce pills that can cultivate.

Beside improving his alchemy, Caelum inner world strength reaches new heights that constantly change and grow stronger. The 'Seven Hermetic Principles' where Rhythm helped him guide the flow of everything within his inner world. 

The Sacred Scripture was able to use this letting him have more clarity over the ever changing life and death that is constantly moving. 

Caelum knew his rapid change compared to his old self that showed flaws more clearly and fixed this to improve himself. 

In those time, he had cultivate his [Law of Cause and Effect Acasuality] to severe himself from any point of time preventing any paradox from occurring. 

This one was the hardest to cultivate due to the contradiction of every scenario that would backlash if he was not careful. He comprehends the law nonstop trying to sever himself from any timestream if his enemy finds him.

He left with something despite not what he had intended to gain. His overall prowess advanced to thousand fold, able to confidently escape from Mother Nuwa.

Their journey had let the two women grow fonder and even began to look at Caelum weirdly despite their indifferent demeanor. They tried their hardest to hide it but Caelum had relations with nearly countless women and had been trying to master [Lust]. 

He only felt surprised that Mother Nuwa would grow interested in him after a few months, excluding time dilution to cultivate had grown to like him.

"So this is the other human settlement that survived the war? They're at least better than Heavenly Fate Plateau."

Yu Yan shared her opinion seeing the humans below had been able to maintain themselves despite the years having passed and the danger that lurks around the corner. 

Even if their strength was far from what in the past had given her enough hope that they had not lost their potential. 

"There are few that have ambitious goals..."

Mother Nuwa used her Divine sense capable of peering through anything even a person's deepest secret as long as that person was below her in strength. 

She was able to differentiate the karma that they had accumulated, turning her attention on the one who had dark ambition in their eyes letting them feel a brief moment of fear. 

Mother Nuwa was kind enough to not kill them as it was not her to decide their fate, turning his attention to Caelum. She knew that this person was fated to be the one interfering at any affair in the world.

"It appears to be but worry not. Tian, you already know these people."

"Yes, I already planned on changing their fate. Anyway, let's get closer." 

They went ahead and descended the mountain heading their ways to the walls where above were guards who noticed their arrival and became shocked then quickly called for their city lord while they saw them stopped near the entrances.

"That far enough! Tell us who you are and where you come from?"

The two women were so beautiful that they would know of a person if they belonged to the Glory city. They only concluded that they came from outside despite their doubts believing they were the last surviving human in the divine continent. 

"Greetings, it would be best if we were to speak to the ruler of this place."

"Wait for a moment, the city lord had been called and would arrive shortly."

Caelum nodded and felt grateful that these people are humble by their experience compared to other Chinese novels where a young master and a kid in an old man's body. 

They waited for a few minutes before a man who had a large frame had dark purple hair and a goatee. The person was Ye Zong from the Snow Wind family who had his mind elsewhere but took his job seriously.

He looked down seeing the three individuals that was certain did not belong to any of the noble family within Glory City and tried peering through their cultivation only receiving a shock.

'What!? Are they all legend rank? I can't peer through their cultivation while that young boy made me flinch.'

Caelum had the abyss skill that reflects anything, especially those who try to peer through him. It was passive skills that he usually turned off due to reflecting back on his training. 

"My name is Ye Zong and the city lord of this place, can you tell me who you are and where you come from!?"

"Greetings, My name is Tian Zun and my companions are Nuwa and Yu Yan. We arrive here by chance, being greeted by another human city.

"Another human city!? Are you saying that you've come from another human settlement!?"

"Yes, we have come from Heavenly Fate Plateau."

Ye Zong hearing their words grew interested yet wary that they have hidden intention for their city then shook his head. These people were at least Legend rank, capable of defeating their city if they wished.

"City lord, no need to worry, we have no Ill intention for your city and may provide our assistance."

The city lord opted for a thoughtful expression before agreeing knowing their city is in dire need of information about the outside world. His father, Ye Mo, was a Legend rank that was capable of safely exploring the outside world.

"Then come with me to discuss more about your offer."

Ye Zong gestures to open for the gates to let them inside, causing the large entrance to open. Caelum and his group went inside meeting the city lord up close before they followed him. 

They are taken to the Snow Wind residence where Caelum instantly notices something narrowing his gaze before turning back his attention to the city lord.

He took them to a room allowing them to have private conversation while Ye Zong told his servant to prepare for tea. They were curious who they were but did their task.

"Now tell me about this Heavenly Fate Plateau? I can clearly see that you are all legend rank which already confirmed your claim."

In Glory city there is only one Legend rank that is alive and that person was Ye Zong Father, Ye Mo who was currently outside exploring. This made it clear that they are not someone who originated in Glory City.

"Before that I'll offer to help you cure your wife's poison."

A moment of silence filled the room before a burst of energy was unleashed flaring that would have caused everyone to feel it but Caelum had locked the space knowing how he would react.

Caelum had been confused since Ye Ziyun mother had died at an early age of her life but the current age around twelve therefore shows that the timeline is shifting. 

This helped Caelum gain a slight improvement in how Law of Cause and Effect functions. He is able to gain something from the timeline shifting.

Few seconds later, Ye Zong finally able to come out from his rage, allowing him to question Caelum.

"You said poison!? My wife had been poisoned!? Who dared harm my wife!"
