Paranoia

Lenny completed the morning's preparation routine, wore the simple clothes from last night, and went over to his kitchen to prepare himself breakfast.

He knew Top Idol could task him at any time, so he decided not to put on his work clothes until he was ready to step out the door of his apartment.

Humming a tune, Lenny opened the old, rusty fridge, and scanned its contents.

"Hmm… What to prepare…"

Lenny didn't have dinner last night because he felt the need to not waste his limited resources. Why did he have to eat dinner late at night, just to sleep right after, wake up, and then eat breakfast in the wee hours of the morning?

Of course, this was counterproductive to Lenny's desire to put on more muscle, but old habits died hard. He was used to intermittent fasting to cut down daily costs.
