'Curse this damn app!' Lenny hissed, banging his hand gently on the counter.

With furrowed eyebrows, his gaze lingered on the entrance door, briefly considering giving the three high school girls chase, but then he cast the thought to the back of his mind. 

'Dammit, I can't leave the shop unattended,' he reasoned.

Lenny sighed and muttered, "At least there's a coupon code for the discount. And may that video not gain any traction whatsoever. Amen."

Out of habit, he took out his phone from his pocket and entered the Top Idol app, expecting to be greeted with notifications — which he was.
