Weekend came slowly like a walking turtle. As their desire for it to come faster, the date seemingly shrinks away. Impatience almost gets the best of Kimberly, but her mother would always anchor her down and stop her from offending that man.
"We don't know who he is and what he is to Hannah, so we have to be careful." Harley said once. "We also don't know his character, so we better be safe than sorry. If we offend him, he might not let us see the kid."
Kimberly remembers nodding in agreement. She understood that in a sense, but her mind appeared to be defiant about that fact. But of course, reasoning won over emotions. And when weekend came like how it supposed to, Kimberly just found herself driving on unfamiliar road.
Kimberly came alone as she wants to talk with the man and Hannah just by her. She believes that she can speak to them heart to heart, and she will be able to convince him to let her take Hannah in.
