Slowly, she sat down on the bed, making it sink.
Hannah stirred on the bed, clearly disturbed by the sudden interruption of her sleep.
“Hannah?” Kimberly whispered lowly.
Hannah only hummed, but her mind clearly is not awake just yet. But because she moved, the blanket covering her face slipped off, and even with the dimness of the lights, Kimberly can still clearly see the black bags under her eyes.
Kimberly can’t help the pity growing in her chest.
She looks like she hasn’t slept for a whole year. She’s also too pale, and Kimberly doesn’t know if she’s hallucinating, but it looks like her cheeks had sunken. It’s only been a week or so.
What happened to her?
Seeing her still fast asleep, Kimberly doesn’t want to disturb her any longer. She should just wait outside the room and talk with that man first.
Not going to lie, Kimberly is super interested and curious about that man’s identity. Somehow, something is urging her to know him.
