Dear mother,

You told me to be a man's lady

But I can't be that now not really

I'm finding me outside of you

Knowing I have to find me soon

Soon as I find me I hope you love

Love me as the child given above

But you scream the demeaning

Saying I'm losing my meaning

I left the the frills of the skirt

And chose the pants and a shirt

You hated me since and still now

I needed your love and how

I asked Him only to be told no

So I went back to the path before

To leaving the pants behind me

And back to skirt for you to be pleased.
