Chapter 38: Knowledge from inside.

Vis' body tensed, all alarms ringing within.

That smile on the zombie woman's face told him enough. She had enough confidence to take over the zombies that belong to Vis' Undead Army.

As he looked around, Vis could see that the zombies' sluggish movement was even slower and their flickering red eyes seemed different.

It was as if their will had been put on a test.

A test that they couldn't pass at all…

Boom!

"Hmm~~" The Zombie Woman hummed as she noticed all of those zombies disappearing from the battlefield.

It was just like a teleportation move, so the existence of a black book hadn't been exposed yet.

Vis clicked his tongue and said, "Miku, just keep others busy. You too, damn ghost." He then rolled his sleeves and rushed at Bella who had been enjoying each second of this development.

Her opponent was that naive and weak, but that was to be expected.

"What will you show me next?" Bella asked, her smile deepening, "Your army so far had been zombies… You managed to hide those well around the wall, but to no avail!"

"Yeah, thanks," Vis replied, not interested in further talk as he had more thoughts clashing within his mind.

The first was obviously whether Blue Icewing's cold skeleton body should appear right now. He was just about to clash with this zombie woman and the worst case would be the immediate loss.

Would the skeleton be enough to save him?

'No, I can't risk anything… The zombie test was a failure, but I should've expected that from the beginning.' Vis decided to summon the skeleton armor made out of black and cold bones.

It wrapped itself around him like a good bird protector, then exuded a powerful freezing aura.

The appearance of this skeleton shocked Bella, but she didn't lose her focus. Her hands began to exude black and bubble-like gas that coiled around her arms.

'What I know about zombies… is that they can use their bodies once split from their bodies. If I have to fight with her, then I must quickly get rid of her brain and heart.' Vis extended his silver hand forward.

Clenched tightly and clad in silver skin, it was one of his greatest weapons if one did not count the black skeleton around him.

A faint explosion of two raw powers spread in between them, then Vis instantly tore through this explosion cloud.

His skeleton armor moved its bones and sent cold spikes at a zombie woman while his hand swept horizontally.

Three zombies appeared behind Bella and Vis flicked his fingers, "Hardening…" He whispered, then the zombies' teeth became silver which could be seen with no issues at all as their jaws spread widely.

Bella had no time to control these zombies as they were foreign to her. He never summoned them out and she had no time to focus on that instinctive action at all.

Rather than shock, Bella's zombie heart had been getting more and more intimidated by Vis and his quick judgment.

He also could be that confident because of his sudden skeleton that was just too high quality.

Added with the abrupt advantage Vis had gotten, the whole assault amounted to tremendous fear that began to corrode her heart from within.

Her instincts began to scream with defense, "Don't be so cocky, prince!" As one hand swept in a beautiful arc with corrosion, all three zombies lost their teeth! The other hand went forward and let out even more black energy which seemed to be like a black miasma.

This miasma stopped Vis' skeleton bones and began to slowly eat it up.

Seeing this, Vis cursed out loud, "Who is the cocky one here? Fuck."

It would be a matter of time before this precious skeleton disappeared from the black book! The first was the high elder and now this zombie woman began to wound its bones!

With no way to repair those, Vis spoke through his teeth, "You will replace this skeleton's job. Though I am sure you won't last as long as she has already done."

"Becoming the prince's toy is the last thing I would wish for," Bella still could smile seductively. She spread her lips and another rotten odor began to make an appearance.

She quickly got forced to shut those down as Vis extended his hand forward.

But Bella didn't mind that. Her corrosive stench glued itself to Vis' skeleton and his expression was a joy to her heart.

She then distanced herself, landed nimbly on the ground, and roared! "AHHHHHHHHH!" All zombies that had been busy with Miku and the monkey ghost rushed in Vis' direction.

On their way, they ignored their two opponents and forced their way up to the fifth prince.

In this frenzied state, no matter how hard Miku threw her powerful fists, she just had no way of stopping all of them.

They quickly surrounded Vis' skeleton armor and climbed their way up onto it, covering his vision from top to bottom.

Their stench and rotten liquids began to spread across the skeleton.

Bella then blew another wave of her corrosive ability and the already glued corrosion spread through all those liquids.

In this way, the whole skeleton got weakened and had begun to lose its structure one by one.

"Bitch," Vis threw enraged eyes at Bella through the gaps, then turned his attention to Miku.

With no zombies around, only she and the ghost could make the zombie paladin busy while he would throw those zombies one by one with his fists.

"You don't have anything on you, do you?" Bella glared at Miku and the ghost, "The ghost is the new one, so I don't think he would wear something precious as this black skeleton. As for you, you would've already used it had it been at your disposal; just like your master."

The Zombie Woman threw gloated eyes at these two, but no way would Miku and the ghost even care about her words.

As black mist coiled around her palm, Miku clenched it and hurled it towards the zombie woman which was the beginning of her rush.

She kicked the ground as heavily as possible, then began to make her way towards the zombie woman.

"That's what I was expecting," Bella waved her corrosive substance, then took position like an athlete. She leaned down, raised her ass high, then soon jumped forward at Miku.

Before Vis escaped through the zombie cage, Miku would already become her trophy!

Little did she know that Vis hadn't been trying to escape the zombie cage at all.

His plan abruptly changed and he was about to see its fruits.

His eyes locked on the two women fighting against each other with the occasional jumps from ghost monkey, but this was too new to even become a problem for Bella.

In fact, one spit with corrosive attribute was enough to fend off the monkey ghost.

But Miku had been doing great so far! She and her blue gloves were just sharp weapons that kept stupefying the zombie woman.

What looked like a maid on the outside was the sharp dullahan that had absorbed a lot of energies and techniques from the Dream Wall.

"Ah!" But Miku suddenly cried out.

From the close contact, Bella spat out a mouthful amount of black liquid that was simply unavoidable from this range.

It began to go through her clothes, reached her skin, and began to burn through it.

"It's more potent as I did my best, okay?" Bella hummed, then distanced herself a little.

Her hand then exploded with the similarly potent black miasma that extended forward for Miku's heart!

But mid-way, this hand stopped, "Huh?"

Next, Bella raised her eyes at Miku whose blue eyes were already closer than they should ever have been!

Her sharp gloves let out small smoke which was a blue mist that turned into a sharp blade. She closed up distance even more with this hastily done blade and severed Bella's head that flew up into the sky.

During her flight, Bella's attention got pulled by Vis' eyes.

"Bitch, you thought you were the only one who could use the zombie's skill? It happens that I also know one," He sneered through the gaps and stood within the skeleton armor as if the general was protected by his own soldiers.

"No… way… Absurd…"

As Bella's head rolled on the ground, Miku already seized her body and had her glove close to the heart.

Since the zombies lost their master, Vis finally made his way past all those and approached his second servant, "Good job." He ruffled her hair, then went to the zombie's head…

He grasped the already gone zombie and raised her head.

By then, the information from inside began to assault him.

However, it was not information about the underground Bella had mentioned.

It was the information about her meeting with the crown prince of the Merthic Empire.
