Chapter 3

Timeskip: 10 years later on an island in the New World.

On a small island in the New World, a pirate ship can be seen anchored near an island. On the coast of the Island, a group of people could be seen standing with their backs facing the sea while a man stood in front of them.

this man is Monkey D Luffy who is now 17 years old. Luffy now has a height of about 190 cm and a fairly stocky body. He wears black trousers, boots with steel toe and a red long-sleeved shirt with the top 3 buttons removed revealing a necklace with a lightning pendant.

A katana with a black and white sword hilt forming a diamond-like pattern is tied with black cloth on her left hip. and then the thing he treasured more than his own life was a straw hat that shanks gave him.

everyone from the red hair pirates gather on the coast of the island to see luffy off and start his own adventure.

"I want to thank you all for what you have done for me these last 10 years and I am so grateful for what you have taught me." Luffy said while looking at everyone.

"Ah don't worry Luffy." said Lucky roo walking towards Luffy while carrying 2 large barrels on his shoulder, while somehow being able to hold a piece of meat in his hand as well.

"Here are provisions for your journey." he said as he put the barrels down. "Oh yeah there should be enough meat and sake for your trip to east blue." said Lucky.

Luffy smiled at him and thanked him for the food. as Lucky was walking back to his friends, Yasopp started walking towards Luffy.

"Hey Lu, I have a little parting gift for you." said Yasopp as he took out a medium sized box from his coat and gave it to Luffy. Luffy took it and looked at the neat looking package around the box And he said.

"Yasopp, you don't have to do this. You all have done so much for me." said Luffy

"That's bullshit son, we are family and you never take anything too much from your family," Yasop said while patting Luffy on the back.

Luffy smiled and opened the box, and saw a black and red flintlock pistol. (The shape is the same as Doflamingo's gun only the color is black and red not black gold) Luffy took the weapon and looked back into the box to find the gun storage area.

he then tied the gun holder on his right hip. Luffy then had a confused expression on his face. He has a gun and a stash, but no bullets. he looked at yasop and said.

"I don't see any bullets in this box and this gun also doesn't have bullets, do I have to buy it myself?" Luffy asked with a completely confused expression.

He glanced at everyone who looked as confused as he was. He then looked at Yasop and saw his face wearing a big smile.

"No, you don't need bullets for this weapon. And never will," said Yasop adding to the confusion of Luffy and everyone around.

"This is a special weapon specially made for you. I always wanted to have a gun like this. But even though I bought it I couldn't use it, because this weapon is powered by Devil fruit and in your case, the bullet that comes out is not an ordinary bullet but it will shoot an electric bullet." Yasop's statement surprised everyone and made Luffy's eyes widen.

"I didn't know they could make a weapon like this," said Luffy while looking at the gun in his hand. he snapped out of his awe when he heard Yasopp's voice.

"Before you can use it, you need to register your Devil fruit powers. So channel a little of your electric power into the gun," said Yasopp. Luffy gripped his gun and started to apply his electric power to the gun and soon the whole gun was coated with electricity.

He then looked at Yasop who nodded to him, indicating that enough was enough. "That should be enough, try that gun shot." Yasop said as he threw the Sake bottle into the air.

Luffy held his gun in his right hand, aimed at the bottle, and pulled the trigger. what came out of the gun were electric bullets that traveled faster than anyone could see except for Luffy, Shanks and his core crew.

He saw the bullet hurtle towards the bottle in the air. when it collided the electric bullets didn't just shatter the bottles as everyone expected. But the bullet hit the bottle and exploded.

everyone was stunned at what they had just witnessed. Luffy tried to test something, he aimed at a nearby tree, he compressed the electricity in the gun, and then he pulled the trigger.

Like before an electric bullet shot out of the gun and headed for a tree. but this time the bullet penetrated Luffy's target tree and didn't stop there, the bullet continued to penetrate up to 5 trees behind him and then just exploded, destroying the last tree.

"What did you do So that the bullet can penetrate all the trees?" asked shanks, Luffy put the gun back into the gun cradle at his hip, and looked at shanks.

"I'm just compressing the electricity a bit". he answered while looking at yasop and continued "Thanks Yasopp I like it!" said Luffy with a big grin on his face.

Yasop who heard this just smiled at Luffy and patted him on the back before leaving to join the rest of Shanks' crew.

when Yasop came back, Shanks started walking towards Luffy with a parcel in his hand. he didn't say anything and just gave it to Luffy and stood there.

Lucky who saw the parcel just smiled before Luffy opened the gift and saw a Captain's Coat neatly folded inside. he took the coat to check it, the coat is black and gold. (like Roger's gold coat only different color).

Luffy then uses the mantle. he uses it like how every pirate Captain uses it, just putting it on his shoulder. Luffy looked at shanks and said.

"Thanks shanks, I love it. It fits me perfectly." he said with a big smile. shanks returned the smile and spoke.

"This is nothing Anchor. If you are going to be captain of your own crew you must have at least one coat." said shanks with a chuckle.

"Thank you all again for everything. without you all I don't know where I would be. or if I would have been able to learn all the lessons you have taught me over the last 10 years." said Luffy while looking at everyone with teary eyes.

He then wiped away his tears and showed a serious expression on his face as he looked up at the sky and started concentrating. in the sky, everyone could see dark clouds starting to form. The cloud then grew in size, grew bigger and bigger until it was the size of a medium sized ship, Everyone was thinking what Luffy was doing.

The cloud then descends and hovers 1 M above the ground. the storm cloud was black to gray the size of a ship that could fit 6 people. Luffy then removed the 2 barrels he got from Lucky ro and placed them in the cloud. The barrel immediately sank several inches into the cloud but then stopped moving. Everyone's eyes widened.

"That is your vehicle?" they shouted. Luffy looked at them and just gave a big smile.

"Of course!" said Luffy while raising his thumb. he put all his things Up in the Clouds. then started concentrating on the cloud once again, and then Above the Cloud a chair formed by itself, Luffy then climbed up on the cloud and sat on the newly formed cloud chair, after that he looked at everyone who was there and said.

"I should return to the Grand Line at the end of the month. When I meet you again I will become a famous pirate," said Luffy with a smile, everyone just gave him a warm smile.

"I'll be waiting for you, Anchor," said Shanks.

"Us too," said Benn, Luffy then waved his hand and started to say.

"Goodbye everyone, once again thanks for everything" he said, as the clouds slowly started to rise up, everyone started waving their hands to Luffy.

"I'm going to miss that boy," Yasop said. everyone just nodded their heads, agreeing with that remark.
