"Mae."
She heard her name spoken so softly she'd nearly missed it. Looking to the entrance, she watched as Baas, closed the curtain, before cautiously stepping closer to her bed. Wearing a pair of sandals, and loose-fitting pants, a casual robe hanging open, revealing that his shoulders, like hers, were wrapped in bandages. His eyes were heavy laden with worry, wide and damp, as he sat on the stool at her bedside, his hands trembling as he reached for hers.
"Where is Hidai, Baasdefen?" she questioned shifting her hand away from his.
