Chapter Twenty-Six: Derrick finding out about Drake

(Ava's Pov) Isabella kisses Drake then I do as well and we tell him we have to leave. He said ok and we ate breakfast. I said, "Xavier you're a really good cook!"; he said, "Thanks."

Isabella and I took off running in our wolf forms towards my territory. I heard growling coming from behind us and stopped dead in my tracks. Isabella stood beside me and we stood tall.

We turned to see a female who looked ok for her age and a decent sized male for his age. These wolves were no older than 20 years old.

I said, "We're just leaving from Alpha Drake's house dealing with business." The female growled and said, "Y'all have no business being around my mate sluts." I noticed that Isabella was fighting for control and I stepped towards her. The male noticed I moved and growled. I growled back standing my ground protecting Isabella. I heard a very loud howl after came a loud furious growling from Drake. The female and male bowed their heads down to him. He jumped in front of us protectively and started ordering us to go home.

We left wondering what was going to happen to those wolves. I kissed Isabella goodbye because she had to go to her house. When I got to the house dad called me into his office and told me to close the door. He said, "Ace told me about last night and where you and Isabella went." I replied, "What Ace told you is true and Drake is considering moving us." Dad looked worried and angry. He said, "Go upstairs to change for training and we'll talk about this more later." I left the office and Spade was outside waiting for me. He said, "I want to talk to you about Alpha Drake." I said, "I'll talk about him later I've got to change for training."
