Chapter Twenty-Seven: Ava not focusing

(Ava's Pov) I went upstairs to my room and grabbed my clothes. I chose my blue and black training outfit. After I put my outfit on I put my hair in a braid. I took off running downstairs to head to the training grounds.

I noticed that Zach wasn't training, so I was a little concerned. I saw that Quinn didn't have a sparring partner and I went towards her. Quinn said, "Hey Ava wanna be my partner?" I said, "Yeah I was going to be your partner anyways."

Quinn went to punch by my right side, but I dodged her attack. I started concentrating on my senses to attack her. She quickly punched towards my face, I ducked, and I kicked her legs out from under her. I swiftly put my arm on her side, so she couldn't get up from the ground. I heard howling coming from nearby. Quinn punched me in the side and moved quick to get in defense mode. I got up and did the same knowing I had let my guard down. I heard the same howling again recognizing that it was Spade. Quinn kicked me in my side and I punched her in the face. I howled at Spade letting him know I was coming. I decided to get behind Quinn and grab her arm. She said, "Fine I give up, now will you let my arm go that hurts." I let her go and went to change into my wolf form.

Once I shifted into my regular wolf form I headed to Spade. I sniffed the air and smelt for where Spade was. He was North of the border. I ran as fast as I could to him and to get answers as well. When I got there Spade said, "Alpha Drake is a good guy sis, He'll take care of you and Isabella. Don't let dad tell you that you can't move in with him." I smile nodding at him and turn towards the border. I howled letting Drake know I was at the border. I heard him howl back saying that he was coming.
