This Uneasy Feeling...

(This chapter is dedicated to Mamabulldog for being an active commenter to some of my previous starting chapters of this book. You have inspired me so much to write, thank you so much!)

-LIANNE-

The following day, I woke up feeling fully prepared for the trip that I will be doing back to the village of Styx.

I went to the dining room, only to find out that all of my companions are already gathered around the dining table while eating their breakfast prepared by the diner owner.

"Aunt Lucille had already prepared breakfast for us. Come and take a seat beside me." Aiden said and tapped the empty chair beside him for me to sit.

Instantly, my cheeks turned beet red the moment I recalled all the things that happened yesterday during sunset. The events came flashing back in my mind like the speed of a train.

Anyway, I tried to shrug these thoughts away and took a seat beside the lad.
