Beside him Elara, his new pet slime, who had recently shifted into a small, gelatinous form, wobbled with curiosity.

**Requirements: Investigate and find what happened to the World Tree and who was behind its disappearance. Solve all problems and help the World Tree recover. Also, punish the criminal.**

**Reward for Finding the Reason: The village will recover to its old glory and all elves will come back.**

**Reward for Helping the World Tree: You will be rewarded with 1/7 World Fragment of the New World.**

Alex stared at the screen, his mind racing with questions. "A World Fragment?" he muttered, bewildered. "What does that even mean?"

He turned to CV. "CV, what is a World Fragment?"

For a moment, there was silence. Then CV's voice echoed in his mind, but it was different—strained, as if being forced. "YOU ARE NOT CAPABLE RIGHT NOW."

A shiver ran down Alex's spine. Realizing he wasn't ready to understand or use the World Fragment, he decided to focus on the task at hand.

With determination, Alex and his pet ventured into the forest. The path was overgrown and narrow, but as they pushed through the dense foliage, the forest gradually opened into a clearing. There, Alex saw the remnants of an elven village, its beauty still evident despite the state of abandonment. Elegant wooden structures with intricate carvings, delicate bridges connecting treehouses, and pathways lined with luminous stones all hinted at the village's former glory.

In the center of the village lay a large, empty clearing. Alex walked to the middle, his pet trailing behind. The absence of the World Tree was palpable, as if a great emptiness hung in the air.

Inside the cave, they found remnants of elven artifacts and more signs of a fierce battle. Suddenly, a shadowy figure materialized, its form shifting and flickering like smoke.

"You should not have come here," it hissed, its voice filled with malice.

Alex braced himself for a fight. His pet, sensing the danger, shifted into a more formidable form, its body becoming solid and armored.

The battle was fierce. The shadowy figure wielded dark magic, lashing out with tendrils of energy. Alex countered with his abilities, his attacks precise and powerful. His pet supported him, absorbing and deflecting the dark energy with her unique abilities.

After a grueling struggle, Alex landed a decisive blow, and the shadowy figure dissipated with a final, echoing wail. In the aftermath, Alex found a small, glowing seed lying where the figure had been.

"This must be the heart of the World Tree," he realized, picking up the seed.

With the seed in hand, Alex returned to the village center. He planted the seed in the empty clearing, and as soon as it touched the soil, it began to grow. Within moments, the World Tree sprouted and stretched skyward, its branches unfurling and glowing with radiant light.

A notification flashed before Alex's eyes.

Alex shivered but understood that he wasn't ready to grasp the significance of the World Fragment. He chose to stay quiet and focus on the present.

As the elves celebrated their restored home, they recognized Alex as their hero. The village elder approached him, bowing deeply. "You have saved our home and restored the heart of our community. For this, we honor you as the Lord of this forest."

Another notification from CV confirmed the elder's words.
