Banquet (1)

It was time for the banquet and Cheng Yinan was glowing. Lu Muchen had ordered a white evening gown. it fitted her like it was specifically made for her.

Cheng Yinan wore a 4 inch black heels. Lu Muchen had also ordered a diamond necklace and it's matching bracelet. He also ordered a black purse that went well with her shoes.

Cheng Yinan applied light makeup and did her her. she left her hair to fall back. Cheng Yinan had very long, black, silky hair.

She walked downstairs towards Lu Muchen.

She playfully spun herself in front of him asking " So " . " Simply stunning " he said smiling widely. Cheng Yinan smiled, feeling satisfied.

Just then, an elegant looking lady walked in smiling widely. " Wow " she exclaimed looking at Cheng Yinan.

Cheng Yinan was dressed simply, but she was just so beautiful. The white she was wearing plus her glowing Jade like skin was just beautiful.

" Oooh..am so excited for tonight " Zheng Mian's excitement couldn't be hidden.

Lu Muchen stood up and said " Let's go " .

The ladies nodded and left the house.

Madam Lu and Cheng Yinan were chatting happily in the back seat whilst Lu Muchen drove them to their destination.

Lu Muchen parked in front of a hotel. This particular hotel was under the Lu corporation. PEARL HOTEL had been one of the top notch hotels in City D.

Cheng Yinan who usually didn't attend this kind of banquet was getting a little nervous.

" Don't be nervous child..this is just a gathering for city D's socialites and their daughter but the ladies are also my friends " Madam Lu tried to calm her down. Cheng Yinan just nodded and smiled.

The ladies came down from the car. Lu Muchen waved the two most important women in life and watch as the entered the hotel.

A different woman was also staring at Lu Muchen. When she noticed he was about to leave, she stopped him. Lu Muchen saw who it was but wasn't actually surprised.

" Ah Chen how have you been " He Yiyue asked with a smiling face. " Am good " came his hort reply with a slight nod. " Aren't you going to come inside " she asked. " No I have other things to do ". " oh ok.. Muchen we should hangout sometime, like we used to " she asked with a face that looked like she was reminiscing. " Am sorry, I can't go out with other ladies when am already engaged to someone else " he replied with a cold voice.

" Oh " that was all He Yiyue's reaction.

With that being said, Lu Muchen entered his car and drove away.

" Engaged huh.. even if you are married am going to have you.. Lu Muchen you are mine and only mine " She said looking at the direction of which his car left.

Madam Lu and Cheng Yinan came in view to the people in the hall and everyone took a moment to admire the stunning beauty's in front of them. " Wow, who is that lady Madam Lu is with.. she is so beautiful " a person commented.

Even though it was gathering for socialites and their daughters, some also brought their sons in order for them to matchmake their sons with other girls. Some boys gathered at a particular Conor could not keep their mouths shut as each and everyone on them had their jaw dropping.

" Wow so beautiful " .

" Simple but beautiful " .

" Who is she " .

" She is totally my type " .

This were the kind of comments that could be heard. Madam Lu and Cheng Yinan ignored them and walked straight to a woman who look like the same age as Madam Lu.

" Jun " Madam Lu called out excitedly. The lady that was addressed as Jun stood up and lightly hugged Madam Lu. " Come and sit with me my dear " Yun said dragging Madam Lu with her . When they were all seated, Jun decided to satisfy a curious heart and mind.

" So who is she " . " She is my daughter " Madam Lu answered. She didn't say Cheng Yinan was her daughter in-law instead she said daughter, that's because she had really accepted Cheng Yinan as her daughter.

While Madam Lu, Cheng Yinan and Jun were having a nice conversation, were four people that were eating vinegar at that moment. Those people were He Yiyue and her Mother and Cheng Yuxi and her mother also. They were all staring daggers at Cheng Yinan who was happily talking.
