Two-Person Game

He looked up from his screen with a smile, "You chose the third image." 

An Luxia blinked a few times, "How did you know?"

"You know it's not that hard to find your school forum, right?"

Of course An Luxia knew that, but she didn't think he would care to look.

"Um. . . I thought about it, and I think the picture you took was quite nice."

Mo Han smiled and licked his lips happily, "Of course! You are definitely going to win this beauty contest."

Even if she hadn't chosen that picture, she would still definitely win! No one was more beautiful than his wifey!

An Luxia smiled and continued to work on her paper.

And, of course An Luxia made it past the first round. 

But another unwelcome person also made it past the first round and into the second round. One of the two female freshmans to enter the second round. . .

Li Yilan.

However, An Luxia only took a glance at it and was slightly surprised, but didn't have any reaction greater than that.

After all, her "sister" was no threat to her.

At school, it was the first day of the second round, and she just submitted her two pictures and one short video in the morning.

An Luxia walked into the school and several people waved to her, many of them having already forgotten about news about her biological family.

She smiled back at them, making her way to the first class, which was the script reading class with Yu Xinyi.

When she pulled the door open, she immediately noticed all the empty seats and the loud chattering coming from the corner of the room.

Upon hearing the door open, several people turned around to look at who it was and more of them did as An Luxia walked into the room.

She looked over, wondering why they were all gathered there. Was there a spider?

Then, she noticed who was standing in the middle of the people. Li Yilan.

She sat down next to Yu Xinyi, who was one of the only few people who were seated and not caring about whatever was happening.

"Why are they all over there?"

Yu Xinyi rolled her eyes, "Because that dumb Li Yilan is one of the only two female freshies to make it into the second round. Ch, it's not like she could win! What are they so excited about?"

Yu Xinyi was not afraid to say the last two sentences extremely loudly, and Li Yilan looked up upon hearing that, glaring at the two of them.

She silently clenched her fists together but still smiled at the people around her. She couldn't win? Of course she was going to win! Even if she couldn't win, there was no way that ugly b**** could win!

Many people made their way back to the seat as the class was going to start and they were also getting tired of listening to Li Yilan talk about how excited and shocked she was. 

The professor walked into the room and the class began.

The school and the school forum blew up as everyone began voting for whoever they thought should be the "face of the school". 

This was one of the most important events of the year, and everyone, boy and girl, were extremely excited to vote for whoever they liked.

As An Luxia walked to the cafeteria to eat lunch, she passed several people who smiled at her and told her that they voted for her.

She thanked them gratefully and quickly made her way to the cafeteria, where Yu Xinyi was waiting for her. 

She had spent the entire night yesterday convincing Mo Han to eat lunch alone for the next few days, since she needed to make her presence more known during this time.

In return, she had to cook dinner for him for a whole week! 

The cafeteria was bustling with people like any other day, and she immediately noticed Yu Xinyi as she walked in. 

She made her way over to Yu Xinyi, but before she could even enter the line, an arm suddenly grabbed onto her, "Sister Yixin - I mean. . . Luxia!"

Her face immediately fell upon hearing the voice as she turned around, "What do you want?"

The cafeteria quieted down immediately when everyone smelled drama to watch, and the attention was once again on them.

Li Yilan blinked her eyes a few times pitifully and took a step back, "I'm sorry, sister. . . I forgot that you didn't want me to talk to you in school."

An Luxia's mouth fell open as people around them who heard immediately started muttering and gossiping amongst themselves, spreading the news.

An Luxia obviously knew that rumors could kill, especially during a time like this. 

She narrowed her eyes, staring at Li Yilan, who had the slightest of a grin on her face. So this was her plan? Did her dumb little sister really think that by doing this, she would have a chance in winning?

She laughed internally and took a step forward, a smile appearing on her face.

Two can play at that game.

She suddenly reached forward and grabbed onto Li Yilan's hands, causing her to flinch from surprise.

"What do you mean, sister Yilan? Why wouldn't I not want you to talk to me? You never talked to me so I thought you were the one that didn't want to interact with me!" 

Li Yilan's face froze as she stared straight into An Luxia's eyes, almost as if she was asking her what the heck she was talking about.

An Luxia smiled back.

"Um. . . I - Didn't you tell me not to talk to you in school, and -"

An Luxia immediately interrupted her, talking at a louder tone, "When you came to my house to ask for money, didn't you tell me not to talk to you at school?"

At once, Li Yilan's face fell and the entire cafeteria blew up.

Li Yilan went to ask An Luxia for money?!
