Hello Stranger...

The events of the previous night would have been termed to be a miracle. The both Werewolves, one on the North and one on the south wing had managed to sleep softly at the same time.

The healer arrived at sunrise to look at Khan. He was still fast asleep and was surrounded by his father, mother and a few servants that had come with them from their kindgom. King Cashito also stood by the entrance. The healer signaled the servant on duty to remove Khan's robes, to get a clear view of the infected area.

The servant carefully derobed him, he had also been there the previous night, and so he witnessed the high fever and seizures. He didn't want to do anything that would make the situation aggravated. As he gently pulled out the robe, revealing Khan carefully sculptured body. The cloths used to wrap up the infection was also opened to release the ever spreading infection which had reached down abdominal area.

"The blood of the inflictor would be needed now, we don't have time anymore, else he dies." The healer said.

At that point the King from the other kingdom looked at King Cashito longingly, hoping that he'd stick to the agreement they reached the previous night. They sincerely hope he hadn't changed his mind.

The two parties had done a great deal in ensuring those two had never met. But, fate still found it's way.

"Fetch Tahira from her chambers," King Cashito informed the servant who was on standby.

Queen Sabrina had slept by the side of Tahira's bed. She wanted to ensure nothing happened at the dead of night. When her breathing became a bit faster at night she was there to ensure it became steady. She had been up all night as a result of this, she dozed off around the wee hours of the morning.

Tahira woke up and saw her mom by the bed side. She couldn't remember anything, she could only remember being drugged and after that everything was blank.

"Mother", she tried to wake her but she was really fast asleep. She wondered what had happened. Who drugged her? Had she been ill all night? From the robe her mother wore she knew she definitely didn't sleep in her own chambers meaning that she had been there with her all night?

She got up and stretched out. Just then she heard a soft knock on the door. She opened up almost immediately only to be told that she was needed in the North wing. Her Father had sent for her.

She turned around to look at her mirror and saw that she looked really pale, so she decided to wash up before going to the North wing.

Soon, she got to the entrance of the chambers and her father quietly took her aside.

"As long as you don't know the details, you're safer. A werewolf needs your blood to stay alive. He's not from this Kingdom. Please don't ask questions and do as I say". Tahira was taken aback. She had never heard her dad make such ridiculous request. Something was definitely going on and the more they told her not to ask questions, the more curious she became.

"What sort of werewolf needs a blood father, we are werewolves not night creatures!" She couldn't help but say.

"Tahira! No questions!" King Cashito roared.

She stayed mute, she wanted to go into the room and she wanted to see what was going on. She needed to know.

Her Father gave her one last warning look before he gently opened the door to the chambers. Her eyes fell from the strange man and woman who looked royalty, the servant that just came to fetch her, then turned and left the chambers, "What?"

She had said as her eyes fell on the being on the bed. This was this man she saw in her dream the previous night, or was she just sleeping walking? In a daze? She wondered. Was he real? She stretched out her right arm to feel the skin, she needed to be sure he was real.

The clothes, those were the exact same clothings he wore. The moment her skin felt his, time stood still. Then he started jerking again, the seizure started. The Queen, his mother screamed out his name, tightly shut eyes violently opened. And his pair of green eyes shone. Then sprinkles of long hairs started becoming evident on his skin.

"He's shifting, we need to get out of here." The healer said.

His mother was reluctant to leave but her husband quickly dragged her by the robes, King Cashito exited first, the King and Queen, the healer then as Tahira tried to make her way out, the healer pushed her back in….."not you" she had said and slammed the door close.

King Cashito roared "What did you just do? You locked my daughter in there."

"She's the only one who can be close to him now" the healer had said.

"Better hope nothing happens to my daughter. I'll unleash war against anyone that brings harm to my daughter" he had said in fury.

Bang! The door was shut on Tahira's face. What just happened? Why was she being left with the beast, she had thought. The movement behind her became more rigorous. She turned and saw that the being had really fully shifted into a wolf. His green eyes stared at her. She didn't have time to think wether it was going to attack her or not, because at that instant it leaped on her. She pushed him away with her human form. Then it jumped back on her and attacked her vigorously. It seized her neck. Her breathing was constricted.

She scratched and tried the free herself from the strong grip from him. But his wolf form wouldn't bulge and added more force. The entire scenario just reminded her of the dream she had last night. It was this same wolf with this color. But why was she constantly dreaming of this particular man she asked herself.

The wolf freed Tahira then picked her up and threw her to the wall. She jammed her back to the wall and a surge of pain ran through her body, the pain was excruciating that at that point she tried to stay awake, her head was fuzzy. She couldn't make out the actual face of the creature in the room or where it had gone to, her visions were no longer clear. She tried to bring herself up but her strength wasn't in favour of her as she slumped back on the floor, her breathing was rough, she gently closed her eyes and momentarily lost consciousness. All these while she struggled, the werewolf looked on like it was waiting to be sure that creature had gone limp.
