Why did you appear in my dreams?

After her momentary state of unconsciousness, her eyes snapped back open, as if sensing she was still in the danger zone. The werewolf seeing this attacked her in the same manner again, the moment her back jammed to the wall, a surge of pain ran through her skin. She became angry. It was obvious that this werewolf was ready to bring her to harm.

She stayed in her fallen state, trying to get herself back. Soon the werewolf made his way to attack her again then a loud bang was heard.

In a spilt second Tahira had shifted to her wolf form. She blocked of the werewolf's attack and also hit him. The both attacked each other ferociously. One threw an attack the other blocked, the other threw another attack and one blocked.

It was really a heated fight. The castle walls rattled. The people outside wondered what was going on in the room. To an unconcerned person, the fight was exaggerated it didn't make sense to them that strangers could be so furious at each other with no cause, but both families knew better.

They kept on fighting till they were both exhausted. The both of them were gasping for air. Tahira also wondered why a wounded werewolf fought like that.

They both fell to the ground but were too weak to get up. Soon they shifted back to the human form. Tahira looked at the injured Khan and saw that his wound had opened and he was bleeding.

Her eyes searched around and she found a knife by the floor. Probably brought by the healer. They said he needed her blood. She sharply made a clean cut on her palm. Fresh blood dripped from her hand and she removed the remaining piece of cloth covering the wound. She let her blood drop on the the wounds, and within a matter of seconds, the wounds closed up.

"Wow" Tahira said. That was magical, she thought.

She kept on looking expectantly at his closed eyes hoping they'd open up.

She looked at his long lashes, it curled up to his brows. Wow, What a beautiful man! She had thought. She didn't have time to pay close attention to him earlier because he had started to attack her the next second.

Then it flapped feebly the first and second time, before fully opening revealing the green pair of eyes, he looked exhausted.

Tahira made to go get the others but she felt his hand holding her back. She stopped to look at him and he muttered something she couldn't make out. She bent further so she could hear him.

"Who are you?" He said. "Why did you appear in my dreams?" He added.

Tahira was taken aback by the question. She also saw him in her dream. Could there be a possibility they had the same dream? She gasped. What was going on? Who was this man?

With the expression on his face, one could say the same thoughts went through his mind too. Who was this woman she saw in his dreams? She looked rather beautiful but in a way he found offensive.

He somehow disliked this lady. He didn't want to but he knew he disliked her. Tahira freed herself from his grip and dashed to the door.

"He's awake" she announced to the people waiting outside.

As the other King and Queen dashed to the room to look at their son.

King Cashito grabbed Tariha and carefully scanned through her body to confirm she had come to no harm.

The chamber was actually in a sorry state. They were ripped curtains, but they had expected so.

The King and Queen grabbed Khan and and skimmed through his chest but miraculously, there was no infection. The Queen was seen shedding tears. She had thought for a split second that she was going to loose her son.

Khan was found on the floor, the servants helped take him back to his bed. Tahira stood by the door and watched. She then felt there was no point standing there. So she slipped out of the chamber. She needed to go to hers, she was tired and dirty? She felt.

As she opened the door to her chambers, she found herself in the warm embrace of her mother. Her mother had been here all along and prayed that she was going to be fine.

Most times she just wanted to run away with her daughter, to somewhere quiet and raise her accordingly. But, her daughter was born to be a leader, she was fierce and always had a mind of her own. She wouldn't be happy, if she did that.

"How are you my dear? Should I draw you a bath?" Sabrina asked.

"No mother, you should rest. You stayed up all night, I wouldn't want you to overwork yourself."

"Alright then, I'll ask the kitchen to prepare porridge."

Her mother wasn't ready to give up and she was also too weak to argue. She went and drew her bath. Usually the servants did that, but she didn't have time and patience to wait to be taken care of.

She soaked herself the next minute after undressing. It was soothing. Then she decided to play the trick she always played since she was little.

She immersed herself into the bath tub, bubbles could be seen flowing up from her nose. She closed her eyes and felt like this was her moment of peace.

Then his face appeared on her mind again. Why did he have so much anger towards her, why had he called her mate in her dream. This must not be her mate she reasoned. She got up again to take in some air then immersed back in.

This time, she didn't want to think about the stranger downstairs. She just wanted peace. Soon she was called out by her mother when the porridge arrived. Her mother had wanted to feed her, but seeing as she refused, she decided to watch her feed.

Tahira had this hidden smile, her mother was probably the happiest now, as she watched her eat. So she decided to act like she was really famished and the porridge was the most amazing thing she'd ever had. She slurped and that made her mother laugh out loud.

"Hahaha you silly thing" Queen Sabrina had said, admist laughter. The laugh was the best laugh she had had in months, that had felt warm. She picked up the napkin nearby and dabbed off the excesses she had left beside her mouth.

Tahira too had missed the mother daughter bond. Ever since she turned into an adult, she spent lesser time with her mother and more time with her father, without even realizing it, she had missed her mother so dearly. She also made to feed her mother some part of the porridge which Queen Sabrina rejected. Tahira had made a poker face face trying to blackmail her mother. It had worked!
