CHAPTER 14

Harry woke up late,he wasn't in the mood to get up but he has to eat and hunt for King Bernard. Harry stood up,went to the bathroom and got dressed. The maid again came to his room to knock and he told her that he'll be having breakfast in his room.

The maid served his food in his room and after eating he asked a guard to show him around before going for a hunt. After walking around he bumped into Yvonne and her sister Nicole, Nicole excused them while Harry kept smiling.

"Good morning princess Yvonne". Harry said smiling.

"Good morning prince Harry". Yvonne said matching his sarcasm before walking away.

"Wait for me".Harry followed her and kept walking beside her waving to all the guards.

"Your know that I'm supposed to hunt for your father. Do you know that we can go together".

"I'm not interested and my dad isn't going to be very pleased if he finds out that I'm your tour guide".

"He is, well he proposed that we should get married so I'm just getting to know you". Harry said smirking.

"Wow,so you want to get engaged to me while you're engaged with someone else? I'm not a pushover, my dad might propose that but I'm allowed to have my own opinion about the engagement".Yvonne replied.

"Whatever... Are you going to hunt with me, just us,you know you can change your clothes".

"Fine,I'll be back after 30 minutes". Yvonne said and left Harry alone in the garden where he was tending to the flowers.

After a while Yvonne came back with two bows and a backpack fully of arrows. She smiled and started walking towards her room. After passing her room to the woods, she flashed Harry a pleased smile. They kept walking into the woods and stopped where they first met.

"What do think about us getting engaged?".Harry asked still walking. Yvonne stopped for a while before continuing her journey.

"I don't know what to think, you're engaged and I'm not, I'm sure you won't want to cut off the engagement because of your happiness. I mean, well I'm sure you love her and we just met, you don't really know me I guess I'm not your type...the kiss might've been a fling to you, you know there are a lot of things to think about right?".

"The kiss,was is a fling to you?".Harry asked.

"No".

"Was it your first kiss?".

"No". Yvonne answered slightly blushing and for no reason at all that seemed to annoy Harry.

"So who was your first kiss?".

"A friend I guess". Yvonne replied again avoiding his gaze.

"Which kiss was better, mine or his".

"You don't want to know".

"Wow!it wasn't a fling to you and you don't want me to know about the kiss that was better than mine? you know what?forget about it". Harry said walking away from her.

"Are you annoyed right now?".

"I'm trying my best not to be".

"You don't know what you want, you're engaged with someone else perhaps you're also in love with her and you're getting defensive over a kiss I had 5 years ago".

"That's rich coming from you fine I might be engaged but I wouldn't kiss you in the dark if I wasn't attracted to you. I like you and I really want to get engaged to you. I want you to know this I'm not in love with her I only told her that I might get married to her but me not knowing what I want? I know what I want and I want this". Harry walked up to her and kissed her just as she was about to reciprocate the kiss her took a step backward and smirked then walked back to the palace.

Yvonne hissed repeatedly while looking for the wolf after a while she caught a fox,tamed it and took it to her room for grooming.

When it was sunset, the royal family was gathered for dinner and Harry kept smiling at Yvonne while she was trying her best to keep her emotions in check.

After eating, King Bernard waited to talk to Harry and his family members again.

"Prince Harry,have you thought about the engagement?".

"Yes your Highness. Actually I'm not ready to get engaged or get married to anyone now I can actually sign an engagement letter but I'll come back 5 years later for the engagement ceremony or maybe then it will be a marriage ceremony". Harry replied.

"Dad,you haven't asked about my opinion on this issue". Yvonne said.

"Prince Harry, I think that's a good decision and Yvonne, why are you throwing a fit now despite the fact that you hang out with him today?". King Bernard asked.

"I'm not throwing a fit, I'm just trying to you know and Dad did you have someone follow me?".

"No, Nicole told me about it and it's hard to not find out when Whitney was watching".King Bernard smiled.

Yvonne threw both Nicole and Whitney a cold gaze and walked away. King Bernard smiled also and left with his wife after making Harry sign the engagement certificate.

Harry was the last person to leave the dining hall just like the day before, he didn't regret his actions since it didn't matter to him 5 years is still a long time. Harry missed Percy and wondered if their father has gotten someone for her or maybe it will be an arranged marriage which is mainly for alliance. Harry sighed and walked towards his room. Suddenly, he bumped into someone.
