"Help me!" Duke Henry said as he entered Helena's office.
Helena, who was working on a new budget for the winter boutique, stopped her work. "Help with what?"
"Help me deal with the Erast branch," Duke Henry said again.
"Wait, it was your sweet granddaughter who messed it up, so why should I be the one to handle the mistake?" Helena protested incredulously.
"Handle it, or I'll have to sell some stores just to pay the employees' salaries next month."
Helena was taken aback by her grandfather's ultimatum. However, she had no choice but to comply.
"With one condition," Helena said.
"All the assets of my father in Broughton must become my personal property," Helena said again.
Duke Henry sighed in resignation. "I have poured a lot of money into supporting Broughton since your father passed away. That's why I don't want to give it all to you."
