A letter from the Imperial Palace..

Simply hearing those few words that spilled from Tanaka's lips made Hina's stomach drop and she hesitated to receive the letter, her mind suddenly trailing back to that horrid moment when death nearly welcomed her in the cold pond.

"I must say, you have become very popular these past weeks. Letters upon letters keep flowing in since the jousting event" Tanaka said in awe as her hands itched to rip the letter open.

Indeed, Hina had become an object of admiration since the jousting celebration. Waves of invitations to social gatherings admist love letters from secret admirers had become her new normal.

"This one is from the Crown Prince. I wonder what's written inside" Tanaka's fingers were already finding their way to undo the royal seal that kept the contents of the letter hidden.
