Chapter 10 : "the true meaning of power"

Part 1

As Shana carried Shirou on her back, the newly regenerated Nilratt approached Uldi, the non-corporeal demon, for help in defeating Deicon. However, Uldi's response was far from favorable. With a disappointed look on his face, he rebuked Nilratt, "You are a disgrace. Why did you not kill a mortal? Tanulto said to me that I should dispose of you now."

Panicked, Nilratt pleaded for mercy, "Please, great demon imp Uldi, spare me, and I will help you deal with this mortal."

Uldi's reaction was swift. He grabbed Nilratt by the throat, and even with his infinity ability, Nilratt could not escape his grasp. When Nilratt tried to retaliate, he found that he could not touch Uldi. Even a surprised clone came to attack Uldi, but it was futile; they couldn't touch him either.

Nilratt summoned 300 tredecillion clones to aid him in stopping Uldi. Some of the clones resorted to using energy ki blasts that were powerful enough to destroy the infinite 3D universe a million times over. Each clone's blast hit Uldi, sending shockwaves throughout the infinite space and 3D universe. The shockwaves were so strong that they disabled the shield protecting the few galaxies owned by Shino, and a second barrage threatened to destroy them entirely.

Shino quickly rose from his seat and attempted to launch a large barrier. However, it took too much time to build, and he knew that he was too late to save the galaxies. Suddenly, using his special eyes, Shino saw a figure outside the galaxy who dispersed the shockwave. He saw a little girl with a finger and Laka teleported to her side. The little girl hugged Laka, and he whispered something to her. Shino watched as the girl used her powers to create a ki barrier stronger than any he had seen before. She was able to replace the destroyed barrier caused by the first shockwave.

Shino recorded the event he witnessed through his eyes and rushed back to his lab to analyze the data. Upon returning to the scene of the fight, he saw that the blast had torn through space and time. However, Uldi remained unaffected as the clashes passed through him. He remarked, "Unlike you, I am a 4th dimensional being. I have transcended your power." Uldi placed his other hand on Nilratt's face, and Nilratt pleaded, "No, don't erase me, Uldi. I can be of use to you--" But Uldi erased Nilratt from space and time, erasing even his soul from nothingness. Uldi declared, "Now that the trash has been dealt with, you have seen only a fraction of my power. Come at me."

As Deicoon witnessed Uldi's power, he transformed himself into a controlled version of his proud form and took a southpaw stance, waiting for his opponent to attack. Uldi stared at him with a serious look, waiting for an attack. Deicoon charged at him and unleashed a barrage of jabs, channeling ki to enhance their power. However, Uldi remained unaffected. When Uldi punched Deicoon, he tried to dodge, but the punch somehow hit him anyway. Uldi launched a barrage of weak punches, and when Deicoon tried to block or dodge them, they went through him and hit him in the face and body. Despite his attempts to dodge the punches, he was still hit in the face. Deicoon wondered if Uldi's speed was unquantifiable or if he had the ability to negate the space between his punches.

The battle between Deicoon and Uldi had been raging for a few minutes, but neither of them had moved an inch. Deicoon continued to punch, but it felt like he was punching nothing and his punches had no weight. He tried to block Uldi's attacks, but they phased through him effortlessly. With no other options left, Deicoon decided to use one of his ki techniques. He clenched his fist so hard that he applied every bit of ki into it and condensed it even further, warping space and time as he did. He named it the "Graviton Punch" and unleashed it, hoping it would make Uldi move. But Uldi barely even flinched and responded, "If you're going to destroy this universe, I couldn't care less. In fact, have some universes."

Suddenly, Deicoon looked up and saw infinite 3D universes colliding in the sky, forming into a giant universe that dwarfed the infinite 3D universe. The larger fused universe fell like a meteor into Earth's orbit, but this time, it was bigger than the planet itself. Deicoon immediately sprang into action, flying to the sky and managing to reach his own infinite distance of this universe. He saw the bigger universe almost crashing down and flew to it with all his might, pushing it back with all his strength and ki to stop it from falling. This universe was so massive that Deicoon struggled to push it back, but he persevered with all his strength.

Uldi followed Deicoon and remarked, "This is interesting. What if your universe came crashing down on you?" Suddenly, Deicoon's smaller infinite universe began hurtling towards him. They witnessed the space around them turning blurry, as stars and galaxies moved and shifted into new locations. However, they soon realized that the chaos was caused by Akahana, who was revealed thanks to the little girl named Laka.

Laka quickly reassured her younger sister and said, "Can you hold on, little sis?" Akahana confidently replied, "It's okay, big bro. I can handle this. Go now." Akahana then focused on maintaining the barrier for the Milky Way galaxy and other galaxies owned by Shino. Meanwhile, Deicoon tried to stop both universes from crashing into each other.

From Deicoon's perspective, he could see his universe heading straight towards him. He quickly raised his left arm to prevent a collision, but he struggled to push both infinities back. He used all his strength and concentration, pushing both universes back with his physical body. Uldi observed and commented, "As you can see, you're struggling to push back both infinities. One infinity is infinitely larger and heavier, and your right arm is pushing back against it, while your left arm is struggling with the smaller infinity."

Despite the challenge, Deicoon remained determined to prevent the universes from colliding and causing destruction in the galaxy.

Uldi spoke with a cocky voice, "Let's see if you can keep pushing back while I break all of your body." One by one, Uldi beat Deicoon, hitting him on every part of his body, punching, kicking, and even breaking his bones. Uldi hit vital spots, but even with his body broken, Deicoon still pushed both universes with hard effort. Uldi suddenly spoke up, "You're not a mortal. Wait...are you a demigod?!?!"

Deicoon remained quiet while still concentrating on his task, even when his body was broken. Uldi continued to taunt him, using his hand like a knife to cut Deicoon's stomach and revealing all of his internal organs. Despite this, Deicoon didn't falter even in the slightest.

Uldi said, "What's your name, great demigod warrior? If you say that, I will spare you now." Deicoon still remained quiet, and Uldi added, "So you don't want to speak? How about this?" He phased his hand and grabbed one of the bones from Deicoon's ribcage, and Uldi continued, "On the count of five, or I'll snap your ribcage. One." Uldi cracked one of Deicoon's ribs, but he bit his lips, trying to ignore the pain. "Two," Uldi said, cracking his second rib. Deicoon kept pushing despite the pain but couldn't endure it anymore. Just as Uldi was about to say "three," Deicoon shouted, "Deicoon! My name is Deicoon!"

Uldi said, "Deicoon, you mean the son of the first wife of Heracles and the youngest one. I see that's why you can pull off this feat," and smiled. He then said, "You know what? I don't care."

Uldi continued to attack Deicoon, cracking all of his ribs and causing him to scream in pain. The screams were so loud that they could be heard from Earth and caused it to shake and break. Uldi laughed and spat in Deicoon's face.

Part 2

Just then, a female voice was heard, saying "Take your hands off our friend." Shana appeared and used her new ki technique, "Blessing of the Green (Stage 1)," to heal Deicoon's wounds and injuries, making his body stronger and more resilient than before.

Deicoon warned Shana to run, as Uldi was too strong, but Uldi suddenly appeared and grabbed Shana by the neck. Shino tried to save her with a spinning kick, but it did not land, and Uldi threw Shana's body at Shirou, launching them both far into space. Deicoon was furious and began pushing both infinities, pushing the smaller one back with ease and using a power hook to launch the larger one at Uldi.

Uldi erased the larger infinity from existence, and Deicoon formulated a plan. He launched a few ki blasts to distract Uldi, then struck him with his ki technique, "Gaia Break," which began to suck and convert Uldi's material into Deicoon's arm. Uldi punched him in the face, but Deicoon didn't flinch and landed a punch on Uldi. Uldi was hurt for the first time and started to punch the space around him, confusing Deicoon.

A barrage of punches came from Uldi, but Deicoon was able to tank them thanks to Shana's rapid healing. They clashed their fists, causing a massive shockwave of ki to disperse to many infinite 3D universes.

And then they reached a point where they were equal. Deicoon got into a peekaboo stance, blocked and dodged Uldi's punches, and then delivered a devastating blow to Uldi's stomach. Uldi flinched and dropped his guard, giving Deicoon the opportunity to launch a strong uppercut to his chin. The blow was so powerful that Uldi was launched into a 4D realm of nothingness.

This made Uldi angry, and he began to use his powers to create a devastating ki technique. He used telekinesis to grab every available universe and all the infinities became a larger infinite universe. But Uldi wanted even more power, so he increased the size of the universe until it was able to envelop and reach into the 4th dimension. He then clenched his fist and put his ki into one attack, compressing the universe to the point where the large universe he had created before was condensed into a small coin-sized object.

This caused the dimensions of parallel worlds to collapse into one another. Uldi called his attack "Big Bang Genesis" and launched it at Deicoon. Deicoon was expecting the attack, but it suddenly blitzed him with great speed. He was able to catch it in time and hold it back with great strength. Uldi smiled and said, "You idiot, get erased." The condensed ball then exploded into a giant universal nova, an explosion so massive that it made the Big Bang of one universe look small. Deicoon was caught off guard by the blast, but he decided to use all of his strength and ki to grab the explosion and suppress it. Eventually, he was able to condense the explosion back into a small penny.

As he crushed it back and absorbed it into his fist, Deicoon added a powerful layer of ki, which made Uldi mad. Using his last ki technique, Uldi rushed Deicoon, using his arm to lariat his throat deeper into the fourth dimensional realm. Deicoon saw himself being dragged through the infinite 3D universes below and beyond, transcending them as though they were mere 2D planes.

At the edge of the 4th dimensional distance, Uldi ran back with blitzing speed, dragging Deicoon along with him. With his power and ki, Uldi was able to telekinetically move all of the other infinite 3D universes, mashing them together and creating an even larger infinite 3D universe. This universe was the last and the largest thing that Uldi, the non-corporeal being, had ever created.

With his ki condensed into a powerful and giant universal spear, Uldi was ready to attack.

Uldi had named this ki technique "The Fallen," and Deicoon prepared to fly towards him to stop him with his final attack. He saw Shana and Shirou floating, almost traversing beyond the edge of the fourth-dimensional gap. They were both knocked unconscious, and Deicoon decided to grab their legs and wrap their arms and legs around his body to prevent them from falling. He then heard Laka's voice telepathically warning him, "Deicoon, I'll let you in on a little secret. Uldi's final attack can negate space, even from an infinite distance. In fact, his spear can negate distance itself."

Deicoon asked hesitantly, "Are you sure, master?" and Laka replied, "Yes, I'm sure. You can't dodge or block it. Use your ki to tank it and throw both Shana and Shirou in this portal." Deicoon saw a white portal and casually threw them in, but before he could throw them in, a large spear pierced through his chest, leaving only his arms and legs. Without a second thought, Deicoon used his ki to make his body stay without a chest and threw both Shana and Shirou into the portal, which closed.

As he saw the same spear and tried to dodge it, it came through his left arm even though he dodged it perfectly. He tried to think of a solution, but both of his legs disappeared from a trace. Laka used telepathy and said in Deicoon's mind, "Deicoon, I have an idea. You can dodge it, but you have to be faster than 0 seconds. Enhance your body speed with ki and make sure your physical stats will help you. Your ki needs to have a sixth sense and time awareness."

Deicoon tried it for the first time, but he failed because his focus was off. The point that his right arm was gone made it hard to focus, and to keep himself alive, he poured every bit of focus and ki to make himself a ki construct body to replace his body. He tried the second time, and he kind of did it, but in the result of that, it erased his right eye out of oblivion. However, Deicoon did not lose hope and tried to focus harder. He did it again, and this time, not one part of his body was hit, but it was close, very close. When Deicoon focused his ki and every part of himself, he finally did it, even while closing his left eye. He was able to dodge the spear of Uldi perfectly and rush towards him. Even when the spear hit him infinite times at the same time, he was able to dodge while moving forward. He used his head to launch the nastiest headbutt to the jaw of Uldi when he was off-guarded.

When Uldi tried to hit Deicoon again, he dodged and redirected it back at Uldi, making the spear lodge in his eye, going down his leg under his body. With a large ditch effort, Deicoon summoned a giant ki blast with his eyes and mouth and blasted Uldi away. Uldi regenerated, but he was also tired and couldn't muster the strength to even fly. Deicoon's energy body couldn't hold on forever, and as soon as they locked eyes and fought, Deicoon thought brute force was the only way, and they clashed faster. As they clashed, the power shockwave surged through everywhere.

Part 3

As the shockwave rippled through every infinite 4th-dimensional distance, it affected countless 3D universes, even reaching the main universe where Shana, Shirou, and Deicoon lived. The shockwaves breached into other infinite 3D universes, exploding and crashing into each other. Each shockwave was stronger than the last due to the fighting spirit of Uldi and Deicoon, ultimately reaching the main universe. At the edge of his infinite 3D universe, Laka stood, observing the shockwaves. He recognized the immense power of Uldi and Deicoon and remarked, "They have improved to the point where they have surpassed themselves many times over in my white dimension. They are beyond 20.8% of stage 101 of my power."

Laka was impressed and decided to reward them after the battle. Just as the shockwave almost reached him, he powered up and created an even bigger shockwave with one flick of his finger, making all the shockwaves disappear. The shockwave reached Uldi and Deicoon as they clashed in battle, and Shana and Shirou in the white dimension. Feeling Laka's power, Uldi commented that it might rival their great Ruler Tanulto's power. Deicoon corrected him, stating that Laka's power was greater than their horrible Ruler's.

As Uldi fought Deicoon, Uldi revealed that Tanulto was on Deicoon's planet, trapped in a sealing chamber the size of a jar. Deicoon realized that he needed to return to Earth to destroy the object but was caught in Uldi's chokehold. Uldi revealed that he was going to lay down his life for Tanulto's glory, and his body began to grow in weird proportions. Uldi exploded with Deicoon, leaving only his head intact.

Deicoon's head floated in the 4th-dimensional space, realizing that he needed to go back and tell the others about Tanulto's location. Despite being immortal, Deicoon's body was exhausted from the fight, and he needed rest. As he drifted off into space, a white portal appeared, and familiar hands grabbed his head.

As Deicoon woke up back in Laka's dimension, he saw that Shana had been healing him for the past four years. "Shana, how long was I knocked out, my friend?" Shana, with tears in her eyes, wiped them and said, "You've been out for four years." Shino added, "We thought you died. You didn't wake up even after Shana kept healing you. But she kept healing you nonstop to the point it became her new training session for her new ki technique. She evolved it to stage 2 healing and instantly healed you and gave you a new body."

Deicoon stood up feeling fine and refreshed in his new body. He felt that this healing made him many times stronger than before and able to heal perfectly. Shana stood up and hugged Deicoon and said, "Don't do anything irresponsible again. Promise me." Deicoon hugged back and said, "Don't worry, my friend. I will try to." Shirou joined the hug, and they stopped. Shana wiped her tears, and Deicoon said something important. "The artifact that your brother Shino has is Tanulto." Shurou and Shana were flabbergasted. Shana said, "I thought Tanulto was on the ship," and Shirou added, "Who said this to you?" Deicoon explained the whole plan and said, "What did you do here while I was not here, my friends?" Shirou replied, "We are here for only one year and have been training to become stronger. Laka said we've become stronger and faster than you were when you fought Uldi."

Deicoon asked, "Speaking of our master, where is Master Laka?" Suddenly, two hands covered Deicoon's eyes, and Laka said, "Boo!" Deicoon was surprised and looked around, and saw Laka in the distance. Deicoon told Laka what happened, but Laka already knew. "Heck, even Shino knows," Laka said. Laka ran around and touched their clothing, and Shana blushed a little bit. Laka said, "Oops, sorry little sis. I didn't mean that. I'm trying to show you something." Shana said, "If you're going to show it, then hurry up!" with an angry tone. Finally, Laka grabbed the thing he was talking about and showed them three robots, each attached to Shirou's shirt, Shana's pants, and Deicoon's back of the head. Laka said, "Remember the robot you guys protected? It made itself into three pieces, attached itself, and recorded all the data back at Shino's." Deicoon said, "So he knows everything about what I said and all of our previous battles?" Laka said yes and showed that Shino would listen to this.
