Voice of a Mother Pt. II

I looked at my staff then looked at Sennie. She readied her staff as well then braced herself. I closed my eyes then took a deep breath, clearing my mind.

"Keep in mind while using this Zodiac Drive, you are not a Power Type Hero. You're now more Technical and Support. You have to be smart since you have cooldowns. Each Skill takes one minute to recharge once fully used up." Sephora said to me then her body turned into energy, entering my staff.

'Anything else I should know?' I asked.

"Oh yes, I also have access to the Four Elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind. Feel free to use them as you see fit~" Sephora answered.

I nodded then opened my eyes, getting into my stance. "Let us begin."

I walked forward then used a burst of speed too appear in front of Sennie with a kick, but she managed to block it. I pushed her back then rushed forward, landing a kick on her stomach then knocking her upwards with my staff. I tapped my staff against the ground, causing a serpent made from flames to erupt from the floor.

Sennie grunted softly then swung her staff down, trapping the fire serpent inside a bubble. She manipulated the serpent by extinguishing its flames and surrounding it with water. She smiled then kicked the bubble toward me.

"Hmph... Impressive." I said then switched my element to water.

I bellowed, striking the bubble with my palm and launching it back toward Sennie. Sennie swiftly dodged the bubble then rushed forward. She began to surf on a wave of water then swiftly turned, using the waves to slice me. I managed to dodge the waves then bellowed, forming a sphere of wind in front of me.

"Dodge this." I said then my eyes shined brightly.

I launched the sphere of wind at Sennie, but she used her waves as a shield. Sennie grunted as she noticed the waves being pushed back. Nyasa bellowed and rushed forward, striking the wall of water, blowing my sphere of energy away.

"Seems like you're fully recovered now! There should be no excuses!" Nyasa called out toward me.

"I never made an excuse, but you all just lowered your chances of winning." I said then jumped backwards.

'He's retreating?' Nyasa thought to herself.

"April, Nina. You two handle Nyasa and Nyami. Lily, Calypso is gonna be keeping guard of Sennie. I need you to keep guard of me." I said.

"You got it." Nina said.

"We won't let you down!" April nodded and smiled at me.

Lily hurried over to me. "Understood!"

'I need time to go over all of these skills. There's quite a lot since everything is fully unlocked here.' I said to Sephora.

"I figured~ It has been a while since we've used this at this level." Sephora said.

Nina walked forward with April and took out her gloves. "Okay babe, which one do you want."

"I want Nyami..~ We've got unfinished business..~" April said.

"Hmph~ Better not lose~" Nina bantered.

"Me? Lose? You better hope you can keep up~ She did manage to beat August round one~" April teased back.

Nyasa adjusted her Gauntlet then changed the mode. "Since we're at this point, I might as well go all out! Devil's Embrace Mode.."

A dark green, red, and gray mist began to emit from Nyasa's gauntlet and surrounded her body. The mist began to form into a shadow version of herself behind her.

"Her power level was boosted by 150% and she now has the Absolute Attack trait added to all of her attacks. It's too risky to use Equalization because it might hinder August's plan. We have to parry, no matter what." Harmony said to Nina.

Nina awakened her Zodiac Power then got into her martial arts stance. 'With our Inner Sight ability, we should be able to use our Syncognition to perfectly sync with Nyasa and win.'

"I hope you're ready for what's to come!" Nyasa bellowed then vanished at near invisible speeds.

Nina grunted and used her Inner Sight, but Nyasa was still faster, landing a powerful body blow on Nina. Nina groaned as Nyasa's shadow landed the same strike. Nyasa began rushing Nina with attacks then kicked her away.

Nina recovered then performed a backhand spring onto her feet. She stumbled a bit and gathered herself. 'Okay... she's faster than I expected. I can't sync with someone who's speed outmatches mine.'

"That's the downside of Syncognition...it takes the same requirements of Precognition. You need to target them and sync your mind with theirs. It should work even if she's faster.." Harmony said.

Nina nodded then began to concentrate on Nyasa. Nyasa dashed toward her and went for an attack, but Nina dodged the attack then groaned as Nyasa's shadow landed her attack. Nina rolled backwards then recovered on one knee.

'It's her Shadow that has Absolute Attack! Alright now I can get into business!' Nina thought to herself then smirked.

"Nina, you can't harm the Shadow as it is in permanent Stealth Mode even when attacking...however Nyasa takes doubled damage. Make the most of this moment!" Sephora said.

Nina nodded and her eyes shined. "Nyasa! It's my turn now!"

Nyssa watched Nina then grunted as Nina used a burst of speed to appear in front of her. Nina landed a powerful kick on Nyasa, launching her away with a blast of wind then dashed forward. Nina appeared above Nyasa then kicked her to the ground, chuckling.

Nyasa landed on her feet then grunted. She looked up and dodged Nina's stomp, but noticed she was getting swept up to the air by a burst of wind.

"Gale Stream!" Nina bellowed then thrusted her palm forward, causing a burst of wind to blow Nyasa away.

Nyami dashed forward and caught Nyasa then landed on the ground. She grunted as she dodged April's attack then ran across the gym. April dashed after Nyami then vanished. Nyami sensed April then dodged her attack again then swiped her claws at April, but April ducked under her attack.

April spun around with a swiping chop then knocked her upwards with a flip kick, landing into a crouching start. Black lightning crackled around her body then April watched as Nyami descended to the ground. April vanished and appeared in front of Nyami, kicking her away then vanished once again.

"Zodiac Arts: Velocity Devastation!" April bellowed.

April began striking Nyami from all directions forming speed clones as she's attacking. Nyami spun around in place, feeling dizzy then groaned as April kicked her away one last time into the bleachers.

Nyami roared then her dark energy surged powerfully to the ceiling. She took off her hoodie then equipped her claws, getting into her stance. She slowly clawed the floor then her pupils became vertical.

"Now it's time for this kitty to get her claws dirty..~" Nyami said then leaped forward then vanished.

April grunted as she noticed afterimages of Nyami around her. She quickly darted her eyes to keep up with Nyami. 'Now I can see why Georgia was concerned...These students are truly something else..'

"Zoom! Zoom! Zoom zoom zoom!" Nyami roared, growing faster by the second. She laughed, leaping forward and ringing her bell. "Burst Skill: Zoomie Fever!"

April sensed Nyami behind her then groaned as she was struck at high speeds. Nyami laughed as she landed on the wall then her eyes shined. She propelled herself toward April, spinning in ball form and rapidly striking April.

"Such speed..!" Lily said in awe. She looked down at me and noticed I was still meditating. She looked back at the fight, worried. "C'mon August...we need you.."

April groaned as she was knocked back, but recovered then grunted as black lightning crackled around her leg. 'Shit...She's becoming too fast. I completely botched that Fury Strike.'

Nyami laughed and got into her pouncing stance. Her tail swayed with excitement and she could barely contain her energy. "It's time for the finale..~"

"That's what you think!" Nina said then hurried in front of April.

"Nina...you can't keep up with her.." April said.

Nina smirked and got into her stance. "Neither can you in your current state. You need time to recover so let's switch."

April looked at Nina then smiled, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Good luck..~"

"Same with you..~" Nina said.

Nyasa watched April approach her then crossed her arms. "Hmph...With that little handicap you have, I doubt this would take long."

April smirked then held out her hands. Black lightning crackled in front of her hands then a great sword in its sheath appeared in front of her. April grabbed the sword then tossed it up.

"Embodiment of War, I call out to thee." April started.

The Bloodshed began to rise within from April's body once more then let out a low growl. He caught the great sword then began unsheathing it. A dark blood red energy began to emit from the sheath.

"Unlock the first Gate of War...I summon the War Hero, Warmonger!" April bellowed then began to fuse with The Bloodshed then he roared loudly.

Nyasa grunted as she guarded herself from April's berserk energy. She began sliding back and felt a massive increase within April's power. 'They are just full of surprises...!'

April's aura disappeared, revealing her Warmonger Form. Her long crimson hair flowed in the wind, a singular red wing emerged from her back, and her black and red armor glowed lightly. The blade of her sword, Warmonger, glowed blood red.

"With this power, there's no telling what the repercussions will be...but I know that it's enough to defeat you." April said then got into her stance then her aura surged.

Nyasa grunted as she was pushed back. April dashed forward then slashed, landing her slash and blowing Nyasa away. Nyami's eyes widened then dashed toward April. April dodged Nyami's attack and Nyami looked surprised. April countered with a powerful knee to Nyami's stomach. She groaned as black lightning burst from her back.

Nina was also stunned from April's power. 'Harmony...That power...'

"Raw Utalian Power from the Crest of War. Don't worry, Sephora is here. April won't lose control." Harmony said.

Nina looked over at me and noticed Sephora watching over us in her Serpent Form. She looked over at April then smirked. "Alright...let's get to it then."

Nyasa dashed toward April then bellowed, but Nina intercepted with a powerful kick. Nyasa groaned as she was knocked back, but recovered then blew Nina away with a powerful counter. Nina rolled backwards on the ground then surrounded herself in Light Chi Energy.

"Nina. It's okay if you use it~" Sephora said.

'Are you sure?' Nina asked Sephora.

"Yes, my son's lover~" Sephora teased and giggled.

Nina blushed then smiled. "Zodiac Arts: Equalization!"

Nyasa, Nyami, Sennie, and Calypso looked surprised once they noticed Nina's Effect Field. Annalise tilted her head and rose an eyebrow, wondering what the play here was other than equalling everyone out.

"April! Let's do this!" Nina bellowed.

"I'm right with you!" April called out.

Nyami and Nyasa braced themselves then noticed both April and Nina dash around them at high speeds. Nyasa grunted as a whirlwind began to form around them with black lightning surrounding it. Suddenly, April and Nina began to dash around the two of them faster and faster.

"Nya! Big Sister! They're growing faster!" Nyami cried out in shock.

Nyasa looked surprised as she realized the field around them. "Wait, the field is around us!"

"Dual Zodiac Arts!" Nina and April bellowed as they were in the air.

Nina split the whirlwind in two then formed her Forbidden Dead Man tornado. The Dead Man tornado formed into the wind entity and black lightning cracked around his hands forming a giant Warmonger.

"Calamity Tempest!" They bellowed then the wind entity stabbed the blade into the ground, causing a massive blast of wind to burst around their area.

"WOOOO!" Annalise exclaimed then laughed as she dodged the pillar of wind and lightning blowing through the roof.

"Mama!!" Athena screamed as she held onto Annalise.

Avery looked at the pillar of wind in awe and her eyes shined. "Their power is insane..."

The wind stopped blowing and Nyasa and Nyami fell to the floor, reverting to normal. April and Nina landed on the floor panting softly then she reverted to her normal form, passing out.

"April..!" Nina said then grunted, falling on the floor too. She reverted back to normal and closed her eyes. "Damn...I guess I'm out of juice..."

"What an ABSOLUTELY jaw dropping battle! Never have I seen a double knockout with two people..! Nyasa and Nyami as well as April and Nina are eliminated!" Annalise said.

"Nina..." Lily said and looked worried.

"Don't worry, Sis..~ You've got August...win it for me and The Pride~" Nina said before getting transported to the academy building outside of the domain.

"We just lost two of our heaviest hitters. What's the plan now?" Leona asked.

'I'm done. The plan now is to win..' I said to Leona then opened my eyes.

I stood up and tapped my staff against the ground, lowering the barrier. "Lily, I know we might seem in danger...but we aren't. The fun's only just starting.."

Lily looked at me and noticed my smirk. 'His smile...it's similar to Dr. Noxius's smirk. He's definitely got something up his sleeve...'

Sennie looked at me then stood up. "Alright Calypso... let's get ready."

Calypso bounced off her jellyfish and floated down with a giggle. "Alrighty~"
