The Sun vs. The Moon

Annalise watched as Sennie and I exited the gym building through the hole on the roof then smirked. She watched us closely and chuckled. "You four better give us something good to watch!"

"Don't worry... We'll make sure your front row seat is worth it." I said.

Lily looked at the sky and noticed the Sun on the left side of the sky then noticed the moon shining bright on the right side of the sky. "August..."

"Your time is limited I'm afraid~ The sun's time is nearly over, yet my time is only beginning..~" Sennie said.

I chuckled and my aura spiralled around my body. "If you think I need the Sun right now, you'd be wrong...and besides...even when the Sun isn't out I have my personal star with me~"

Leona giggled softly and purred. "That's right!~"

Sennie readied her staff. Her Zodiac Sign shined brightly on her hand. "Fideline, are you ready?~"

A giant red crab materialized behind her via tiny bubbles. "I'm ready, pop~"

I looked at Sennie then smirked. "It's time...so prepare yourself!"

I bellowed and propelled myself toward Sennie. Sennie braced herself then grunted as she blocked my kick. She slid backwards then launched multiple bubbles at me, but I evaded each one flawlessly, surprising Sennie.

'His movements...they flow so well..!' Sennie thought to herself.

I rushed forward and kicked Sennie upwards then switched my element to Earth then caused a wood serpent to emerge from a magic circle underneath her. Sennie tried to block the wood serpent, but failed then groaned as she was blown away.

"I'm not finished yet.." I said then thrusted my arm forward, extending my arm and grabbing Sennie's leg.

I rushed forward and bellowed then leaped off the roof. Blaze, Husha, and Amunet looked surprised to see me leap off the roof. Sennie grunted as she tried to break out of my hold.

"Get ready for a crash landing!" I bellowed then my eyes shined. I began to spin toward the ground and swapped my element to Wind.

I slammed Sennie to the ground then retracted my arm. I landed on the ground and chuckled. The cloud of smoke cleared and Sennie could be seen standing up. She looked at me and fixed her hair.

"Hmph..! That was cute, but now that I know how you move... taking you down should be easy.." Sennie said then changed her staff into a wand then pointed forward.

Fideline ran forward and let out her beastly roar. She entered her Battle Mode then her Zodiac Armor appeared on her body. Sennie jumped on the top of Fideline's head then synced with her.

"A Zodiac Beast Battle huh?" Sephora asked.

"If that's what they want...that is what they will recieve." I said then tapped my staff against the ground.

Sephora giggled then emerged from underneath me then let out a beastly hiss. I held one hand behind my back then synced with Sephora. The bangs of my hair began to cover my left eye then I smirked. I decided against what I was going to do and just awakened our Zodiac Armor.

"You hesitated. Why?" Sephora asked to me.

'Just didn't think it was the right time to use it. It takes a lot of Blood Energy to use...I don't have that type of energy mastered and I would lose blood faster than I could pull off such a technique.' I said to Sephora.

"Fideline, charge forward with your Crab Crusher!" Sennie commanded.

Fideline surfed forward and her claws shined brightly. She swung her claws at Sephora, but Sephora swiftly dodged her attack then formed a magic circle underneath Fideline.

"I'm sorry, Queen of the Moon.." Sephora said before knocking her upwards with a burst of light.

Sephora quickly slithered forward and smacked Fideline through the domain's academy building with her tail. Sennie groaned as she was thrown off Fideline. She hit the wall and fell to the floor.

"Well that was quick." I said.

"Well even though I am currently only a fraction of my true self, I do still have my techniques mastered. My Flash Precognition is your Flawless Precognition." Sephora said.

"Tch! Didn't have to say it like that..." I scoffed, crossing my arms.

Sephora giggled softly then grunted as I was blown off her head. I grunted softly then landed on my feet on the ground. I looked around myself then noticed trails of lightning flashing around me. Calypso landed on her jellyfish then propelled herself toward me, but I dodged her attack then kicked her stomach, launching her upwards.

Lily flew toward Calypso then slashed downward at her, but Calypso made her body mimic the properties of a jellyfish, causing Lily's attack to do no damage. Lily flew backwards then got into her stance in the air.

"I'll just use this then!" Lily bellowed then summoned blades of golden light next behind her.

Calypso watched Lily then began to float downward. She smirked then turned into a ball of lightning and flew around the sky as Lily began launching the blades of light at her. Calypso propelled herself toward Lily then gracefully kicked her to the ground then summoned a storm of lightning bolts to strike Lily.

Lily recovered then began to dodge the bolts of lightning then threw a dagger directly toward Calypso. Calypso turned her body into a jellyfish then quickly dodged the dagger. Lily warped toward the dagger then summoned her Cross, immediately blocking Calypso's attack.

Calypso grunted as she was repelled backwards by Lily's Cross. She noticed the Mark of Light glow on her chest. 'What the heck is this..?'

Lily landed on the ground then summoned her Sacred Gauntlets then her light energy surrounded her body. "Let's get this started!"

I watched their battle and smirked. "Now that Lily is set, we can now take them down!"

Sennie dashed forward and formed multiple large bubbles in the air for Calypso. Calypso discharged lightning from her body using her Jellyfish's stingers, causing her lightning to surround the bubbles as well.

"Combination Skill: Coral Barrage!" They both bellowed then the bubbles began to crash down toward me and Lily.

"Lily get behind me!" I called out.

Lily hurried toward me and hurried behind me. She looked at me and grunted as she felt power energy emitting from my body. I began concentrating on their Combination Skill and began spamming my Flash Precognition then closed my eyes grunting softly.

"August..! Are you okay?" Lily asked. She noticed the lightning encased bubbles growing closer then grunted as she held my arm. "August..!"

"Zodiac Arts: Prescient Chain!" I called out then opened my eyes, an ancient sigil forming in my eyes.

Collisions were heard and everyone looked at the bubbles as they began to collide with invisible forces. Sennie watched in awe then noticed illusionary clones of myself were appearing in front of the bubble they were about to attack.

'By spamming my Flash Precognitions, I could see multiple futures. But because of my mastery with this Crystal, I could use the Astral Premonition trait of Precognition and create Future Clones by cloning my future self...' I said to Sephora.

"By doing that you've gotten yourself a Prescient Chain~ Now you can see why this power isn't as easy as it looks huh?~" Sephora said.

'Now when I'm the one who actually have to do it...' I said and held my left eye.

Lily was surprised by my power then watched as Sennie and Calypso landed on the ground. "You have anything else left in the tank?"

"You know I do..~ Just I need to recharge, but nothing I can't handle." I said then lowered my arm and summoned four orbs of energy: Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind.

I made my staff disappear then cracked my knuckles. 'Melee Mode.'

Sephora reverted to her human form and her iridescent hair flowed with the wind. She summoned her staff then placed her hand on my shoulder. "Let's go~"

I dashed toward Sennie and went for a kick, but I feinted, causing her to block high. I landed my back kick then fired my wind orb at her then it burst into a vortex, blasting her upwards. Calypso grabbed Sennie's hand then threw her back toward me.

Sennie bellowed and went for a kick, but I dodged her then parried her next attack. Sennie grabbed my wrist then knocked me back with the back of her fist then surfed forward, striking me with her waves. She knocked me upwards then squealed, causing an orca to emerge from the waves.

I opened my eyes then dodged the orca's attack and turned my Earth Orb into a rocky serpent then launching it at Sennie. Calypso appeared in front of Sennie, blocking the attack with her Jellyfish. She grunted as my power was too much for her to handle.

Lily warped behind Calypso then kicked Sennie away and grappled onto Calypso. "August!"

I roared and charge forward then landed a powerful kick, blowing Calypso and Lily backwards. Lily manifested her wings then spiralled upwards, surrounding herself with vines. Lily flew down and her eyes shined brightly. She crashed to the ground and groaned loudly as Calypso's jellyfish began to electrocute her.

"Zodiac Arts: Light of Genesis!" Lily bellowed then caused a massive light explosion.

Annalise watched in awe and got excited. She watched the smoke clear and noticed Calypso and Lily on the ground. "Calypso and Lily are both defeated!"

I looked at Sennie and she looked at me. I switched to my Leo Knight Form then summoned my Gauntlets. "It comes down to this..."

"Mhm..~ And you've been my favorite opponent so far..~ Sad that we have to end things here..." Sennie said then summoned her Pincer Claws.

I looked at the sky and noticed the sun was at the end of its cycle. My Solar Charge had ended, but I didn't need it. Both Sennie and I were exhausted, but it was now just the two of us standing.

I roared and awakened my Zodiac Drive and my aura surged powerfully across my body. I growled and my eyes shined brightly, my body tapping into the Super Energy within my Solar Peridot. I let out a Supernatural Roar and transformed into my Super Zodiac Drive.

"My Knight, your time within this form is limited. Ten minutes is all you have before your body shuts off..." Leona said.

"Ten minutes is all I need." I said then smirked. "Sennie, let's get this party over with!"

Sennie smirked then dashed toward me. I dashed toward her and we bellowed, landing punches on each other's cheeks. Sennie grunted as she noticed I withstood her attack easily. I chuckled then pushed her back then struck a weak spot then knocked her upwards. I landed another strike on her weak spot, causing her to groan in pain.

I let her fall then knocked her away with a Lion's Fist. Sennie recovered then flipped backwards. She generated multiple bubbles behind her then turned them into spikes before freezing them. She launched her ice spikes toward me, but I used my Burning Assault to clash with her spikes.

"I've never seen Sennie push herself this far... She's usually very chill. This is the first I've seen her actually enjoy fighting..." Annalise said as she watched our battle.

Sennie dodged my attacks then landed a few attacks of her own. She knocked me away then followed up by rushing toward me. I stopped myself then clashed with Sennie. We began rapidly clashing until we knocked each other away once more. Sennie panted softly and fell onto one knee.

I chuckled softly and tiredly placed my hands on my knees. "I say we end this...and I'm putting my all into this attack."

Sennie smiled and stood up. "I agree.."

Sennie raised her hands in the sky then the moon began to shine brightly. Sennie began to gather Lunar Energy and a sphere of energy began to form above her. I watched Sennie and smirked then generated a large fireball in my hand.

"Zodiac Arts: Galactic Ocean Bomb!" Sennie bellowed then hurled it toward me.

"Zodiac Arts: Leo Flame Burst!" I roared and fired my large fireball at Sennie's sphere of energy.

The two spheres of opposite energies collided and generated powerful shockwaves. We struggled for the upperhand, and while Sennie did have the upperhand, I still had Super Energy on my side. My fireball split in two, causing Sennie's attack to explode.

Sennie grunted and covered her face from the steam and smoke. She heard a roar and looked up, seeing me in the air with my second fireball. "Wha—"

"Zodiac Arts: Infernal Disaster!" I bellowed and hurled my second fireball down at Sennie.

Sennie casted her barrier around herself to block my attack, but my fireball instantly broke through her barrier. The fireball hit her then a massive fiery explosion happened, blowing me away as well.

I groaned as I hit the academy building then fell to the ground. I reverted to my normal form then my hair covered my eyes. The smoke cleared and Sennie was on the ground as well.

"A-August and Sennie are both unable to battle! Both teams have been eliminated! The last standing team is Blaze's Team!" Annalise announcement and was surprised by the end result.

"They nearly made it to Blaze's Team...They are extremely strong..." Athena said.

"They are..~ I'm surprised though. That kind of power August had...Sephora is back in town which is bad news..." Annalise said then crossed her arms.
